Took my 11 month old to play on a hot day and it was nice and cool inside with tons of toys. We went at around 2pm on a Monday and there were several children and parents but I wouldn't call it crowded. I think it'd be perfect for toddlers--the toys were advanced for a baby but there were definitely some things he could play with. There's a cafe/eating area and a separate play area where no shoes or food are allowed. The carpeting and toys were a little old and probably not the cleanest, but we were okay with that--I just made sure to wash his hands and not let him put anything in his mouth. As of today, it was $12 per child per visit but children under 1 are free! read more

My 3-year-old really enjoyed it, and wants to come back. The environment seemed a little overwhelming for her at first, and she needed to explore a little, but she did come to love the bouncy tube. It looks small, but there are a lot of little spots for kids to play in and toys to play with. When I came at 10:30ish, it was filled to the brim, but by 12pm AKA naptime/snacktime, it had cleared out quite a bit. Yes, the one couch for parents could probably stand to be upgraded, but overall it was clean, particularly for a space for kids. I saw kids anywhere from infant age to maybe about 5 or 6 there, but the majority were toddler age or younger. They had snacks there, though I wasn't sure if I saw prices. The staff were great. Cute place with all the toys a kid could want! There are comfortable places for parents to sit and enjoy, too. We came here for a birthday party, and the staff was very friendly, even offering to carry my stroller down the stairs for me. However, they could improve on cleanliness. I saw the staff "cleaning" the tables by brushing crumbs off with their hands, and my baby's wet teething toy was mistakenly put into one of their toy bins (without being cleaned). They could also improve on being more careful with allergies. In their haste to cut the cake and turn the space over for the next party, my kid was handed a slice of cake despite me hovering right next to him and refusing the cake. read more

What a great little spot! We first came here for a birthday party. We enjoyed all of the toys and space provided for young learners. Since then we have been back a few times. On very hot days, very cold days and times when there are stretches of rain its a wonderful solace with many activities for kids to do. They have different areas in the space dedicated to different toys and play styles. My daughter loves the dress up area and many riding toys to scoot around the place. Many parents do a good job of staying near their kids to ensure everyone is playing in a safe and healthy way. I will say I have never seen a kid not playing here, everyone is always busy and having loads of fun. The staff is dedicated to a safe and fun learning environment, they are always very efficient to do little spot cleaning as they go from one place to another in the space. Parking used to be a pain however now there is a lovely parking garage if street parking is not available. read more

We came here for a birthday party over the past weekend. Its such a different concept than all the play places that we have here in the DMV. Its kinda a large toy room ? Its broken up into different sections. Theres a building area, toy car/train area/ tent area. book corner, play kitchens etc . Think of all your friends and all their houses with everyones different collection of playrooms and just combine it together into one place. That's the vibe I got. Theres random couches placed around the room for parents to sit. My one wish is I wish there were windows? To have some of the natural light come through. The whole time we were there I had the 'in someones basement' feel since theres literally no windows in the whole play area. Staff seemed. nice, as toddlers are.. none really wanted to sit down at the same time for pizza and juice and I had to hunt down someone to ask for a juice later because they put them all away. Visited this place to get out of the heat and for my grandchildren to burn some energy. This place is like playing in someone's basement from the 70's, no windows, old toys, dirty stained furniture, it definitely needs some cleaning and updating! I can't say enough positive things about how this venue handles birthday parties. We had to cancel our initial party and reschedule due to illness and they handled that extremely well. The day of the actual party was just so effortless, comfortable and fun. They provide nearly everything. We'll be back when our youngest is having birthday parties. I mean wow. What an amazing place to have a child's birthday party. The service was phenomenal since the moment we walked in the door. The best pert about this place is they do most of the work and you really just have to invite people and show up. The ladies greeted us, helped us decorate the table, told us the schedule for the day, picked up the food, set-up the food, cleaned up the food, gathered everyone to sing happy birthday, answered questions, and cleaned up. The kids really enjoyed themselves and it was nice that the adults could enjoy beer and wine courtesy of byob. I was worried about parking at first but honestly wasn't that bad. The only thing would have been a structured activity for the kids but it was for a first birthday so I get that the structure is somewhat different. We will definitely be back! read more

I really liked Lulus!!! And so did my kids:)) I love that it's very close to my house. It's a super cute place for kids. I love the decor of the place. It's clean! And there is a dirty toys container for when kids will start putting toys in their mouths. Workers are very nice and helpful. Atmosphere is great. It did get a little crowded there at some point. And I started to get a headache but once it's not as crowded its great. My kids loved the ball pit! Coffee is good to:) We will be definitely coming back! Oh and the great thing is if you pay for your children's admission you can come back later in the day again for as long as you like and it's free!:)) read more

We've been going here for a couple of years - loved it from the first moment we walked in. Friendly staff, huge diversity of play items, very clean, and my kids (ages 3&4) are well entertained for over 60min at a time - a miracle. Our latest experience was celebrating my daughter's birthday. Can't say enough good things. It was very reasonable in price, the space was spotless, and the decorations provided by Lulu's were incredible; they even spelled out my daughter's name in a birthday banner! WOW! "Lulu's Casita" is AWESOME! I had heard about it from a few friends and finally got a chance to take the kids over to Ardmore to check it out for myself. It was a chilly day, so indoor play was in order! Grandma is tired of cleaning up the disaster my kids keep leaving in her family room. So, off we went to Lulu's Casita! Lulu's Casita is a huge play space with several different themed play areas, COMFY couches FOR PARENTS to chill on while the kiddos play, and a large cafe. You enter Lulu's from street level, but you can't see the actual play space until you walk down the stairs, so you have no idea what awaits you when you first open the door: A MAGICAL SPACE to light up the imaginations of children and adults alike! The staff was super friendly, informative, and cleaning constantly. The space is welcoming and well-maintained. I was super impressed by the decor, much of which included sensory opportunities for the little ones. It is abundantly evident that Lulu's Casita was created out of a love for people and play. It is a work of art, and ode to whimsy! My favorite part of my life is being a mama and my favorite part of being a mama is discovering cool new places with my little ones. They both had so much fun exploring today and I loved seeing their expressions as they discovered each different play area. Grandma had fun too! read more

We've been coming to Lulu's for awhile- my daughter loves playing here and it's perfect if it's too cold to go to the playground. I also love it because I can get a latte while my daughter plays. We just had my daughters 4th birthday party here and they did an AMAZING job. She wanted an Ursula sea witch theme, which I thought might be a tough one to pull off, but they did a beautiful job. The decorations were perfect, the people were really nice, and they kept things moving efficiently. They were flexible enough that they were ok with me bringing some of my own things, like a piñata. They also had some good suggestions for party entertainment. We hired the face painter, Mimi, and she did a wonderful job. Couldn't have been happier with the whole experience. read more

this is quite possibly the cutest place for both parents and kids ever!!! The staff is super friendly with the exception of the woman that teaches the mommy and me time ($20/first kid or $25 for two kids). The other moms and I were playing with our kids in the open play area and she came over to tell us about it. Except rather than leave it at that, she kept insisting that we join her 'right now' lol. Otherwise, the place is PERFECT! Tons of toys for kids, slides, ball pit, puzzles, reading nooks. toy riding cars, a swing, giant chalkboard to write on. They also have a separate arts and crafts area. The cafe is super cute as well. And it is right next to the play area where you can still keep an eye on your kids. Best part? If you play in the am, you can come back all day! You pay once and it's good all day! The area is also very clean. The toys are all nice and new. I heard they clean out the ball pit every day! I heard about Lulu's while I was with my 9 mth old at Gymboree. I walked right over to check it out and found out it is FREE for children up to 12 mths which is amazing for me! The people that work there are awesome along with the great food choices!! The Spanish vibe is different, unique and great for the community. I have gone several times now and my child loves being there and learning from the other children. Lulu's is becoming part of our daily routine now! read more

Loved lulus casita when it opened up but it seems as though they let too many children in on the weekends. It becomes too crowded and crammed. I think the location is great but again very overcrowded on weekends. Another suggestion would be for the staff to come through and clean toys and play area while patrons are there with their children. I visited another local play area recently and their staff was cleaning the play area throughout my visit and also capped the number of children and parents they let in for the day. They informed followers via social media and website that they were max capacity for the day which i thought was AWESOME. I think it lulus could follow suit, I would come back again with my kids. read more

I went to Lulu's today for the first time with our 15 month old. What a great place! They have a large play area, including books, foam blocks, a Lego wall, indoor slide/swing, and a ball pit. My son had a ball playing and we even picked up some snacks from the small cafe area they have inside. The atmosphere inside is so cute and we will be frequenting this adorable place plenty as the weather gets cold. My only complaint was a few parents who seemed more interested in talking on the phone than watching their rambunctious three year olds so my son did end up as a living hurdle for them to jump over a few times! Lulu's does a good job trying to offset this, though, by having a staff member patrol the play area. Also, just a heads up, adults and kids are required to take off their shoes so moms, wear socks so you don't end up barefoot like me! read more

I really love Lulu's Casita and my son loves this place very much! I have give it 5 Stars since the Staff is wonderful, everything is tidy and clean, and their snacks are really healthy. I have tried the Babysitting Service and My son didn't know I was gone since he was having a blast! Also, we had his birthday party at Lulu's yesterday. The staff has been extremely helpful with setting up my son's birthday party and also picking up the cake at Viking's Pastries. I highly recommend the babysitting service but please let them know within 48 to 72 hrs prior. I also recommend birthday parties at Lulu's! The kids had a great time while the adults relax. The great thing is we had the whole place to ourselves. I wish I could give more stars since Lulu's is such a great place to go! read more

We love Lulu's Casita! Everything in Lulu's Casita is geared towards parents and children, thought out to the tiniest details. For instance, picture taking your two children to the mall or to a regular coffee shop. Imagine going to the ladies room and discovering that the stalls are too small to fit the stroller. That's one, another - while you are using the bathroom, what are you going to occupy your children with? Another issue - what if the toilet is too high for your toddler? Personally I have been very impressed with ladies rooms in KOP mall - the bathroom is equipped with tiny toilets that a toddler can comfortably use without any assistance. That's great, but when it comes to washing hands, you will discover that height of the sink in combination with faucet location makes it impossible to hold up your child while washing his/her hands at the same time. Well, in Lulu's Casita none of those issues exists - the ladies room is fully equipped with everything you can possibly think of: changing table, small stepping stool to make toilet accessible for a toddler, an infant seat where you can put your little one, while attending to an older child, a mobile hanging over the infant seat to keep your young one occupied, another stepping stool near the sink, just to name a few. Also the selection of toys will put the best toy stores to shame. You name it, they have it. We have not been there in a while but my son still talks about going there to play with some of the toys he liked the most. Another thing is the juice making machine - the one where you put the whole orange in. My son loved his orange juice and it is nice not having to squeeze it for him the days we visit Lulu's Casita. Not to forget about a variety of classes offered there on the regular basis. I have tried a couple but my son is a bit too young to be able to follow through. Lulu's is awesome!! We just joined yesterday and have been there twice already and wow, I am impressed. It's the perfect space for kids to safely play and everyone I have met there has been so very nice! They also have internet for one to use while there, which is ideal for me because I work from home and it will be very convenient to set up my computer at their cute coffee shop! My son loves coming to Lulu's already and he sure doesn't like to leave! They also have story hour and music hour on certain days of the week too! What a great place and I'm so happy we found this Ardmore gem. I feel like the owners have a great thing going here and I'm going to do all I can to spread the word so that other families can benefit from joining Lulu's! read more

In what seems to be an never-ending winter, there are only so many trips to the mall playspace a toddler can tolerate. Enter Lulu's Casita! I was worried this place would be overcrowded when I went on a Saturday morning, but I was pleasantly surprised! First off, every inch of space in this place is well-utilized. There's a good mix of quiet and boisterous activities--Duplo legos, books, activity cubes, music making toys, plus a ball pit, a few slides, and these awesome giant blue foam building blocks. The main hallway is painted like a street, and there are several play cars--some foot push, some pedal push--for kids to drive around. Even though it was quite crowded, I was really happy to see that every child had a parent paying attention to them. The oldest kids here were around 3.5-4, which meant there wasn't those random too-old-to-be-there kids that run wild and knock the little ones over. I didn't try the food, but it all looked really yummy! Best of all you just run a tab and pay when you're ready to leave, which means you don't have to keep running back to grab your wallet and watch your toddler at the same time. There's even a corner with a rocking chair and a boppy if you need to nurse--but it is on the main floor, so that might not be private enough for some moms, or too distracting for some babies. This was our second time here and another great experience. The $8 to play seems reasonable for indoor playground. If you leave you can come back after nap. Good to know. I'd say 4 is the age limit here where a kid would be bored, but my 2 year old loves it. The place is very clean, which I find to be really important. My daughter loves the slide, ball pit, and building castle. You can only bring your sippie cup or water bottle in. No other food allowed due to allergies. It's an annoying rule ( and my daughter has food allergies), but prices aren't horrible on the snacks and food they have. Most of their items are healthy too. It's a great place for a too hot, too cold, or rainy day! read more

I have been going to Lulu's for about month now with the little one I nanny for. (She just turn 1 year old). There is such a wide variety of toys for all ages! I was a little nervous about the smaller toys; but I just made sure to have her bink on hand to avoid any small toys in the mouth; I feel like it was a good way to introduce her to the smaller toys. There are always kids of different ages in lulus with us; but if we go anytime between 12 and 3; it's usually babies/toddlers. Which is perfect! I like how when your there they open up a little tab that you pay when you leave, very helpful! Also, if you forget your socks, they have them available to be purchased there for a reasonable price. We are becoming regulars at lulus :-) read more

This place is fantastic! It's just Like going on a play date at your friend's house whose kid has all the best toys! We never sprung for the kitchen or train set, so I love that my daughter gets to play with them here. Then there is the ball pit and slide which are also so much fun. We spend hours here each time we go. Also, big thanks to the owners for keeping the play area free of food. I take my son to Lulu's to play at least 5-6 times per month during the winter months. Fun and clean. Easy access to parking and very nice staff. Just celebrated my son's 2nd birthday party there and I love it even more. Great place, great organization and coordination by the staff. They made my kid happy and made it easy for us to just enjoy the party rather than being stressed out about all details. Decoration was beautiful. Would do it again. Money well paid. read more

I took my three children (5, 3 and 1) to play here and they loved it. As an adult, I did too. The play areas are fun, clean and safe. The rooms are nice and open so you can see everything no matter where you are sitting. The best part is the cafe, which serves coffee. The staff was very friendly as well. The best play place in the area. The more play places that I visit, the more I love Lulu's. The staff is friendly and involved. The location is clean and organized, and the experience is priced well. They've got a huge train table, a small kitchen area for the kids to play, an area to comfortably breastfeed, a dress up area, several areas specifically for babies, a great slide, a ball pit, and more. In the bathroom, they've even got highchairs in the restrooms so babies can safely sit somewhere other than the floor while their moms use the facilities...they've truly thought of everything! It's also allergen-friendly. The owner is a mom herself, and she and her husband run a great business and consistently give back to the community. We love this place. read more
