When 3 of the features are closed perhaps you should let the customer or at least post it on your site and/or in the check in area before they pay 50.00 per family member to go on these things. Instead they direct you to them in the park and don't even know they're closed until you go back to the front desk to ask. Then the answer is "they're understaffed" which,to me, means the park knew in the first place. The large aerial zipline was closed, the taller walk the plank was closed and the toxic meltdown also closed . The attendant at the walk the plank worker mumbled something about "a piece missing from the taller one" after saying it was open and then checking. If you're understaffed wouldn't it make more sense to cycle the zipline crew to the closed ones so the paying customers can get what they paid for and go on everything? Everyone just seemed clueless about things being closed. That being said, the open stuff was fun. read more

Very impressed. First of all it was a swelteringly hot day but the park is 95% shaded so it was really pleasant. There was so much to do - the kids are 9 and 7 and it was wonderful to have so much outdoor physical activity. The treehouses were fun and cute, but there is so much more there. Warrior Woods, ziplining ( and they have different levels so for timid ones it's doable!)...tree climbing, lots of rope climbing- just a great day. Even in the heat, we stayed over 3 hours and the kids would have stayed longer. Nice covered pavilion with picnic benches where you can leave your stuff and eat later. There's a ton of activities, but nothing is too far from anything else. Very helpful and kind staff. Highly recommend. Will definitely go back too. read more

Just hosted a summer birthday party at Treehouse World and everyone had a ball! I found it to be a great value for the basic package, which included pizza, a THW tee for birthday kid, a staff member at your side helping the whole time, and free admission to the park all day! The basic package ($195) doesn't include harnessed activities but my group was preschool age, so too young for that anyway. (The older kids we saw doing parties with harnesses were having great fun, so for us, in a year or two, that will be the way to go!) The $195 covers 10 kids (with parent), and there is an added fee for extra guests. We paid a little over $300 including tip. Of course, decor, other food, cake, favors, etc. are up to you, but as far as THW's part, it was a great value with 16 kids, 22 adults, and a baby. (My total cost was more than double the venue price, but I did a ton of food for 38ppl, and expensive favor bags; you can do it for a lot less, especially if you keep head count to the set amount.) I was wary of the 10:30am party time slot but I wanted to get the most of our all-day admission, so I went with it. I'm SO GLAD I picked that time! The park had only one other party going on when we arrived, and it was relatively cool for a summer morning. They allow 15min to set up in advance of party time, but as the first party of the day, we got to go in earlier. They check every guest in, hold gifts there in the large reception area to assure they're all safe, give wristbands, map, answer any questions (which takes a load off the host family), and they make loudspeaker announcements per your request to round everyone up to meet in your treehouse for food or activities. I also was able to utilize their side field for party games, which worked beautifully! Some treehouses have electrical outlets for any electrical needs. I was going to bring music but they have it playing on speakers throughout the park. It was a nice mix of kid and adult music. Katie was our assigned staff helper, and she was EXCELLENT! She was extremely professional and helpful for her young age, and was seriously like a concierge! She helped us set up, was ready with a cart to help load and unload our stuff from parking lot, helped decorate and set the table, helped serve food, cleared the lunch plates, had trash bag ready before I even thought of it, and there was one moment when I was starting dessert and wasn't sure if we had enough plates to do new, or just serve on lunch plates, but Katie was right there with dessert-sized festive plates supplied from THW, like seamless clockwork! It was just SO EASY to host with her help! She was fantastic! Our 10:30am party ended at 12:30pm, with the last 45min eating pizza and Brookies, so timing was perfect for kids to work up an appetite for lunch. Then, our guests stayed another 1-3 hours, but they had full admission until 6pm close time if desired. It was a very full, fun day! My kid was super happy and so were all our friends! read more

We first heard of this little gem in West Chester from our daughter's summer camp, she said she had a great time there. We took her there couple weeks ago and can see why. There are 11 themed tree houses there including pirate ships, big hat, gingerbread house, etc. Probably not too exciting for bigger children, but for younger kids, each one is a blast. They also have Euro Bungy Trampoline which is included in the ticket price. For older kids or adults, there are tree climbing and zip lines which costs extra. For our 5 year old, she just played the free mini zip line which is included in the regular ticket price. Notice for adults, you probably just need to buy the observer's ticket to save some money. Visited here end of July around opening time on a Saturday. I was worried that it would be too crowded but it wasn't. The parking lot is a bit small but of course that didn't create any problems for us due to us arriving early. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. My 9 year old son was able to tree climb, do multiple ziplines, complete small obstacle course & there were many elevated treehouses. There was enough seating so us adults can take a break while the kid still ran around and climb. Only con would be that the hand sanitizing stations were all empty. Would return again. read more

Best place on Earth. From Communist Treehouses to rope racing, this place has it all. I thrashed a 7 year old at zip lining. I probably got the Olympic Record even though the staff wouldn't admit it. One lady dived head first off a plank. No one had ever done that before. I am pretty sure I saw the same lady hit a whole bush the next time she jumped. Why would she do that? Especially with climate change being what it is. Axe throwing was fun until that same lady hit the arch above the throwing arena. I took gold in my event and even said hi-yah twice when I threw. Safe to say I am a legend there, the lady a myth but I tell you it was all very real. read more

If you have a only child bring a friend or purchase a activity pass for yourself. My son would not do the zip lining or anything high because I could not go with him on my observer pass. This place is a dream for kids! Both of my young children spent a half day here and we only had the basic tickets (they're probably a little too young for the more inclusive pass). Even with the basic pass, so much was included. Tree houses, obstacles, bridges, swings, climbing, goats, bungee jumps, slides, etc - they could go here weekly without getting bored because it's the outdoors, just a bit more organized and safer than roaming the woods on your own. What can I say????? The place is pretty cool, but lacked workers. No one's around to help or ask questions unless your in a party group. Map doesn't really help. Lacks diversity amongst workers and customers. It's literally one big ass playground for kids, so parents, be prepared to get your walk or run on. One zip line per person unless you pay for the unlimited pass of $45 or more and be prepared to wait especially on the weekend with party's. Won't be back. Finally got to check this place out this weekend. It's a unique spot, and I was happy to see it was larger than I was expecting and my son had a good time so that's all that matters. The price is a little high given the fact that the arrow tag and tomahawk throw weren't manned but were included in the price. The staff was young but very helpful and attentive. I usually don't expect much from young workforce but they were sweet to my son and cheered on the little guys that hesitated on the activities (cause they look a little scary)The website for this place needs some work. I basically went there to check it out before booking a party because the website does it no justice. I don't know that I would expect anyone over 12 to stay excited for too long. But my 5 year old loved the place for hours and I plan to book the birthday party. I can see it being a good place for a meeting because the rentable space is unique and it has some potential they may not have tapped into yet. They are also building some new houses too. Edited Review: I changed my two star to four because the team at Treehouse World made an unfortunate experience right (after my previous review was noticed) and that is just good business. Knowing that the owner was just as concerned as we were about a couple elements of a kid bday party that fell short shows that they are doing things right and care about customer satisfaction. This really is a great place-safe, kids love it, and there really isn't anything like it that I've ever heard of in this region. Went in June and you only receive 90 min with the adventure pass. There were a ton of campers to compete with. Waiting over 30 min for the bungee Is ridiculous. Felt like you couldn't even enjoy your time because you were worried about the time. I would not waste your money. read more

Extremely unsafe. As you an see from the attached photo, I got two HUGE painful bruises on my legs from their zip line. The attendant told me to hold on and jump off without any other instructions. At the end of the zip line, there is a rock hard plywood landing. Well, I didn't get the memo, so I became disoriented and both of my knees SLAMMED into the plywood. I thought my right knee was broken upon standing up. The pain was intense and lasted all day (happy weekend!). It took about two days for the welts to go down, and 6 days later, I am still sore. Not a single employee working on the zip line - half of whom were teenagers - apologized to me. But, they didn't fail to cover their asses and tell every other person after me to 'lift their legs up' upon witnessing my accident. (Still waiting on a call from the manager that will likely never happen!) TL,DR: Used the zip line, wasn't given proper instructions, seriously hurt my knees for 6+ days. Essentially a crappy 'fun land' someone set up in their back yard or a purchased plot to make an extra buck by hiring high schoolers and overpricing admission/activity fees. I wouldn't be surprised if someone gets seriously hurt here. read more

We absolutely LOVE Treehouse World!!! We first found it at a birthday party 3 years ago & had a great experience. The only reason it took us until now to return was bc of having the 2 little guys who are now big enough to enjoy it!! We visited in May for their Homeschool Days and had a blast!! There are so many awesome activities to participate in and the children NEVER want to leave!! That is always the true "tell-all!" It's even better when Mama doesn't want to leave either!. After visiting that day my daughter decided she wanted to celebrate her 10th bday there! Since it was the "Double Digit Birthday," we wanted to gift her with this great experience!! There was a lot of anticipation leading up to the party, because it had to get rescheduled twice due to heavy rain and severe thunderstorms in the area! THW was extremely flexible and overall wanted us to have a great experience so we kept trying until we finally picked a beautiful day!! The day of the party was awesome!!! They were so gracious & upgraded us to the Tiki Hut for the party, I'm guessing after having to reschedule twice. It was an Awesome Atmosphere, which definitely added greatly to the overall feel of the party!! Not only was the space Beautiful, but it was just so cool eating and singing happy birthday in a Tiki Hut in the trees!!! Such a Memorable Bday that will go down in the books!! They also loved the tree climbing activity and had so much fun in the Warrior Woods too!! No one wanted to leave!!! Thank you Treehouse World for such a lovely day and several great experiences!! We look so forward to our next visit!!! I can't understand why anyone didn't enjoy their day there?? My only guess is that it was in their early days and just opened, while still building their business practices, etc. Every business goes through those growing pains. Excellent atmosphere, excellent for the younger crowd, great outdoor experience. I may be a bit biased, but having spent so much time there, I have a pretty good feel for the place. Things change, people change, operations change, but the basic idea, concept, and premise upon which THW was built can never be taken away. There is a sense of wonder, excitement, and maybe just a touch of danger for the unwary - which is part of having fun and getting out of your comfort zone. Treehouse World provides these opportunities to grow and experience the outdoors in a fun environment. Some things to keep in mind: The park is only so big:. Yes, 15 acres is a pretty good size, but compared to the hundred + acre amusement parks that dominate the adventure world, this is something to keep in mind. There will be wait times and unavailable times for certain activities:. See above comment - furthermore the staffing has always been run at a skeleton crew. Too much down time for employees between rushes I guess. Lastly, this is a casual, fun, slow paced, out door adventure land. If you are not looking to relax and take your time, you may be disappointed with the lack of "hop-to" attitude towards the customers. Took our kids there for the first time and was greeted by a woman at the information kiosk. She was very friendly and informative. She told us that the extra attractions are hosting birthday parties so there may be a wait for the activities, but that we could still do them. We went into the office to pay and were then told that all extra activities were closed for birthday parties. Cue 2 very disappointed kids. Anyway, we paid the general admission fee for the kids to run around in the only 2 tree houses that were open. This place could be fun, but feel it's unfair to completely close entire activities for birthday parties, especially when they aren't even occupied by the party (we saw several areas with staff hanging out but no party using the area). Would consider going back but will call first to ensure we can do more than 2 activities. read more

I went here with my 2 yo and he had a blast...one treehouse was too "advanced" for him (he had a hard time getting his bearings on the nets) and the only other add-on activity he could do was the bungee bounce, but the train tree house and the other tree house were great. He spent over an hour between the two. There was also an area with dump trucks and rocks that was a nice place to seek refuge when older kids were overrunning the Tree houses. We spent another hour there. It was a great way to spend a beautiful day, especially since he was free and I paid as a spectator. The reasons why I didn't give 5 stars were minor, but add up to warrant a decrease. The line for the bungee bounce was long and not staffed appropriately...only one worker was there and that led to jumpers having unequal jumping time...great if you were jumping and got extra time, not good if you got less time or were waiting in line. Some of the structures presented dangers...a heavy sliding wood door with potential to pinch fingers and swung away from the frame enough to even pinch heads. Straw on the walking surfaces of the tree houses made it slippery...not too big of a deal, except it was slippery near and on stairs and ladders. I would go back, even if I had to pay the full price. It's worth it. It's clean. There is enough sun and shade to please everyone. There are plenty of picnic tables throughout. There is no gift shop for wasting money on crap (my favorite!). My little guy had a great time, didn't want to leave and passed out in the car on the way home. read more

I was disappointed by my last visit. I took my daughter, having paid for the Explorer Pass and the $5 " Observer" Pass online. I already thought that was steep. When I got there, I was told that the pass, which was $25, didn't even cover the zipline. My daughter really wanted to do that, and we were already by the harness station at this point--and I was told I had to pay an additional $15. So, I did. Then, my daughter got her harness on and flipped out, refusing to zipline. I went back to the main desk and asked if I could be refunded, since we didn't use the zipline. I was told no, but she could still do a tree climbing activity, which she was also evidently afraid of. I just think good customer service would dictate refunding me the money. We went to a birthday party here yesterday and our 5 & 3 year olds had a BLAST! They loved running around exploring the various tree houses and climbing on the obstacles! It's really a neat idea and a great place that captures the magic of childhood. I especially love this place since we live in the city and am sad that my kids don't get to do this everyday, the way I did when I was little. My kids really loved ''the little old lady who lived in a shoe' tree house, there is a spiral staircase to the top of the boot! It's really cool. The train was nice too and the bunnies where a family favorite- they are very friendly. There wasn't a lot of staff around that I could see, with the exception of the zip line, which we did not do, so keep an eye on your littles. Otherwise, this is a great get away from all the electronics and distractions of the modern world, like childhood should be. Our 5 year old wants his birthday here next year! I like that there are partying areas throughout the property. There are party rooms in the main building for inclement weather, as well as eating areas in the treetops, which adds a bit of fun to the party atmosphere! We took our children to Treehouse World this past weekend with two things in mind - jumping on the trampolines and riding the zipline. We were very excited that their weight limit was lower than we had seen before (20 lbs) and that our 2.5 year olds could participate in both activities. My biggest issue with our experience was the lack of communication. We told them it was our first time, we told them what we wanted to do. Pretty simple, right? We found the zipline where they told us it was, but there were no attendees. So, we decided to go to the trampoline. There was a group there (which we later found out was a party), so we waited, patiently with our toddlers. Finally, after the staff overlooked our presence and told the girls in the party they could all have a second turn, I asked if we should come back and when (no one had been staffing the trampolines when we got there, so I wanted to be sure we could find a person to run it). He said parties take priority and come back at 11. I wish someone had told us that when we checked in or even while we stood there for 15 minutes. A simple, "hey we have a few parties today, the trampoline will be booked from 10-11" would have gone a LONG way." So, we played in the train tree house and went back over to the zipline. When we got up there (mind you, climbing with two 2.5 year olds) we found out the harnesses are on the ground near the registration desk. No one mentioned this when we checked in and paid - they simply said the zipline is that way. Again, frustrating. Regardless, we zipped and went back to the trampoline, right after 11. When we arrived at the trampoline, no one was there. Hmph. We waited a few minutes to find a staff member and then waited for our turn as only two people could go at once since they only had one employee working it. The employee who helped us out was great with our kids, like I said, my biggest issue was the lack of communication. I know it's the end of the season, but if you tell me information upfront, I'll be a lot happier and I won't waste my time (and the limited attention span of my kids). Pricing wise it was okay - we really only wanted to jump and zip, we didn't need to go in the treehouses, but since us two adults had to pay general admission, we made the most of it and explored. read more

I had my 6 year old son's birthday party there this past weekend. We had a great experience. The staff was super friendly, great with kids and very accommodating. We did the rock climbing in the trees and and the zip line. The kids loved both. They have chickens roaming the property which my daughter loved. She actually was able to pick one up and it was super gentle! It was a little more than I wanted to spend on a birthday party, but it was nice to be outside and all the kids loved it. I wouldn't recommend it for younger children. The tree houses seemed to require some dexterity. I would definitely go back. read more

I am so sad to have to write this review because I honestly loved Treehouse world. I loved it so much that I decided to have my daughters birthday party there. The first issue was that they charge $5 extra dollars for any extra adult guests to observe. I knew that ahead of time and decided that experience would be worth that small price. The issues really started at the party. I arrived in the party area 15 minutes early as instructed. Not one person greeted me. A staff mememer peeked out from a door but then continued to work without acknowledging me. Eventually someone came out and I told them I was there for my party. The person was surprised. 10 minutes later they found my party host and brought my items in the party room. I was instructed to wait and once my guests arrived we would begin the two activities that I purchased. All my guests arrived and my party host attempts to take us to an activity, but they were all too full so they offered to let us throw tomahawks while we waited. We completed that and went to our first activity. We waited in line roughly 40 minutes for the first child to get on the bungee jump. There were 12- 7 year old kids in like for 40 minutes! I went to speak to a manager because at this point my party was almost done and we had barely started the first activity and not gotten to the second. I asked for a manager who's name was apparently Ben. Ben was called over the walkie talkie several times but refused to come speak with me. At which time, I was passed to Nick. Nick listened to my concerns and went to talk to my party host and told him that my party should go first. He came back to tell me this but it didn't change the fact that the party was off schedule and they have a very strict time line for the amount of time we are allowed in the party room to have cake/pizza. I explained this and told him it was unacceptable. He told me I have to understand that other people booked parties too. So did they double book? Why would they allow so many people to book parties that they cannot accommodate. While I was in there, I spoke to another mother who was waiting for her party room and they could not supply her with one! There was obviously poor planning on their end. Anyways, Nick was able to offer me no explanation and i explained that I was disappointed and walked away. At which time, Nick, very condescendingly instructed me to "have a good day". I work in customer service so I can tell the difference between someone being genuine and someone that's trying to be even more of a jerk. At the end of it, we didn't complete the aciticites in time and had about 15 minutes to scarf down pizza and cake. It was a terrible experience. read more

WARNING- GENERAL ADMISSON IS A WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME AND DOESNT COVER ANYTHING. STAFF IS RUDE AND RACIST AND COMPLETELY UNHELPFUL AND THEY DONT PROVIDE ADEQUATE FACILITIES. My child's school took my daughter here for a school trip. The staff were rude and their general admission passes did not cover anything. My daughter came home and told me how incredibly boring this trip was, that she was forced to eat lunch sitting outside in the rain, and that one of her friends was pecked by a chicken. I followed up with the staff and learned that no adequate first aid was provided for that student. I also learned that they had a completely open and empty pavilion in which they were told ahead of time that they could have lunch, but on the day of the trip were denied access to it and told that they needed to have paid for it. Total bullshit to be frank. If you had empty facilities for getting out of the rain while the students ate lunch, that NEEDED to have been provided- especially considering that it was agreed upon ahead of time. If they were allowed to eat lunch in the pavilion, then the entire incident of being attacked by a chicken NEVER WOULD HAVE HAPPENED. They apparently did not provide the even half of services that my child's school was promised. (They didn't even let the students have water or throw their trash in a trash can!) Needless to say I will never be taking my daughter here or sending her on this trip again if the school decides to go back. I recommend you avoid this place- it's not worth the money for rude staff and extremely minimal activities covered under general admission. Furthermore, I heard from one of the teachers at the school that woman in charge of this place showed clear racial bias against the black girl that was attacked by a chicken- apparently providing first aid to the white child who needed it and showing compassion and care to his injuries, but being rude, dismissive and denying proper care to my daughter's friend. False Advertisement - the place is called Treehouse World but there is only 2 Treehouses. We were under the impression that having the word "World" in the name would have a little more variety. It wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't $12 per person! And if you wanted to do the extra activities (zip lining, etc.) they are an additional $8 per person. This place is cute but definitely not worth the money. If we would have known we would not have went. We did see a couple other tree houses in the process of being built on the property but are not completed yet. They really need to discount admission until the others are built. read more

I thought this place was great and definitely has potential. I think the last review was pretty harsh-- yes, it's true there are only two tree houses but they're both beautiful, interesting, multi-leveled and fun. Other activities- "rock" climbing up trees, one of those slingshot bouncy things, toddler area with a teeter totter and rope swings and then also some hiking. You can tell that there are some other projects in the works too like some sort of archery game. The place has potential and the owner is trying to bring something different to the area which was a very welcome change for us. It was nice to be somewhere where you didn't just sit around and watch your children play. You can explore with your children and being out in the woods encourages them to be more appreciative of nature so all in all, a great idea. I think the only major cons to the place is that there is no running water (which from what I understand is being worked on too) and there are no tables to eat snacks on (no restaurants in the immediate vicinity either) My biggest tips would be to bring bug spray (though none of us got bit during the day) and an extra bottle of water to wash hands until their plumbing is up and running. read more

As it turned out, we paid a lot less than we had expected - parents can participate for a minimal cost. The whole day was a very enjoyable experience. Just had a birthday party at Treehouse World and it was awesome! The staff were super friendly and helpful. All the kids had a great time and even wanted to stay longer. I would highly recommend this place for kids parties or just to have a fun day with your kids. So many things to do like zip line, walk the plank, trampoline, tomahawk throw, archery tag, and a ninja course in the woods! read more

I took my 2.5 year old granddaughter to Toddler Time. She is a very active girl, loves places like the Tree house a Longwood Gardens, Cherry Crest Farm, Tiny Town, Elmwood Zoo etc. She did not find the tree houses interesting, just empty structures. She was so excited when she saw the Purple Train picture on the website and disappointed when she saw it. The most interesting house was the Shoe, but it was closed. read more

This place has potential, but right now is pretty lame. There are 2 treehouses that are open, so that's about 20 minutes, and several more that are under construction. They should finish everything so you can actually spend some time here and have fun, but right now it's not worth the visit. read more
