She showed poor professionalism, a lack of leadership, and, worst of all, she was screaming at and harassing children. Here's what happened: I went to Junior Playland, and they told me I had to pay an extra $. I said okay, paid with my credit card, and we went inside. After my kids started playing, Lizzy came up to my child and started screaming at him like a hysterical person. I stayed quiet at first because the kids were there, and they became scared of her. I then went to the front desk and asked her to provide her name. I told her, "Please, do not scream at children again." as I had also seen her yelling at other kids. At that point, she started screaming loudly at me in front of everyone. I told her I was not going to continue arguing because my kids were there, and I did not want them exposed to that behavior. I walked away from the desk, and she told me to leave immediately or she would call the police. I chose to stay because I wanted to wait for the police. While waiting, my daughter wanted to use the climbing wall, but another employee told me, "Your daughter cannot go there because we don't like you." My daughter started crying , and she was so upset and didn't stop crying for a long time. She was scared and afraid from them. When the police arrived, the manager Lizzy never told them that she had been screaming at my children and other children.By the way, they even lied to the police and claimed they refunded me, but I never received any refund from them. So not only was my money taken for the tickets I bought for my three kids, but my children were also left traumatized after being harassed and screamed at in front of everyone. I left the facility and filed a report regarding the screaming and harassment of kids. Please do yourself a favor: if you love your children, do not go there. I saw too many disturbing things happening at this facility. Overall, this was an extremely frustrating and upsetting experience. This was my last time coming here. The Worst decision ever was coming here . P.S. After reading the owner's replies to the negative Google reviews for Junior Playland, I understand everything now. Just read their responses to unhappy customers and you'll see a troubling pattern. They repeatedly mention calling the police on customers who simply raised concerns after spending money there. If you speak up, even to ask them not to harass or scream at kids, they may treat you like the problem instead of addressing the issue professionally.

We had initially booked a private birthday party that was, unfortunately canceled because of the weather. I was given the option of dates to reschedule, but was told instead of a private event. They only had semi private parties available and stated there would be another party taking place at the same time. I was given several dates and times to choose from an emailed back several times in an attempt to confirm date and time. I received an email receipt for a booking of that date, no call or personal email. I also sent several emails prior to both event dates asking what time I could access our space in order to set up and none of them were ever returned. Again was told you didn't have a private event slot available, but did have the semi private which we accepted based on the assumption that semi private meant instead of just our party there would be an additional party. But I did not expect was there to be an additional party, several groups, and I guess free play all happening during our "semi private event " When we arrived and checked in, we were told we were in the room on the right and only when I said, I don't know what that means or where that is did somebody get up to show us to the space. Our party was scheduled from 1 to 3 and at five or three as we were cleaning up an employee came in with giant black trash bags, and started unloading the trash. At this time that we noticed that the people waiting to get into our room for their event time had been there playing for the entire two hours of our event so there was our party group the other party group and then the 3 o'clock group there are all playing during our semi private event plus the people coming in for free play. Luckily, my son just turned five and had fun with his friends but to say I was disappointed is a very big understatement. For the price difference of having a private event to having multiple groups of people and FreePlay going on during your event isn't worth the savings

Sometimes you just want to mix things up with your kids OR need somewhere for them to blow off…read moresteam even if it's cold out - in comes: indoor play areas. I have been to a few in the Philly area and this is one of our favourites because it is pretty open. A lot of spaces are so jam packed with toys etc that you can feel overwhelmed and closed in... imagine how the little one feels? Here they have space to walk around, run a little without bumping into a peer. But don't get me wrong, there is lots to do: ball pit, a cute little zipline, basketball, large swing (the swing is my personal favourite because I can swing peacefully and comfortably with my son in my lap), climbing etc etc. There is even a small toddler corner for more quiet play for the young ones. Adults are very welcome (and can technically use the zipline...if you can manage to fit, lol) And there is LOTS of seating that isn't on the floor. The price is ok - there are definitely more affordable options but at $20 it's not too bad (price for 1 child + an adult for free play; monthly membership is $75) I can see where the money goes in terms of cleanliness etc. Also, this probably goes without saying but please WATCH your children here. There isn't a lot of staff around (I usually just see one person at the front check in desk) and I don't think it's their job to watch the children...but it is VERY easy for a child to just walk out and I'm not sure the front desk staff would stop them. One of the days I was there, I witnessed a child say he wanted to go home then try to leave... It's a shoeless facility so bring socks (there are some there for sale). Also it's pretty nice that next door is a YMCA

I think it'd be perfect for toddlers--the toys were advanced for a baby but there were definitely some things he could play with. There's a cafe/eating area and a separate play area where no shoes or food are allowed. The carpeting and toys were a little old and probably not the cleanest, but we were okay with that--I just made sure to wash his hands and not let him put anything in his mouth. As of today, it was $12 per child per visit but children under 1 are free!

First I would…read morelike to say I have taken my children here about four times and we have always had a great experience until today! I think it should be mandatory that you must be on the play floor with your children while visiting CSP!! Today, myself and my three children visited CSP . As we were walking in a lady walked in before us with a child probably five or six years old. They met another woman there with her daughter who was probably five or six also. I noticed right away that the two women sat down at a table in the snacking area. Myself and my children were there for exactly 1 hour and 20 minutes before we left. Not one time did either of these ladies get up and come on the play floor to watch their children or even to look over and see what their children were doing. Now I know this because I was watching them as I watched these two little girls bully my three-year-old son. Repeatedly, I said loudly to my son " hey come play over here " "hey stay away from those girls " "their being mean they don't want to play get away from them" loud enough so that it would catch the attention of the parents!! NOTHING eyes glued to their phones or in deep conversations with eachother. As if this was a daycare! My son would try to play with them and they'd get " no get away from us " "go away" "go away we don't want to play with you" "stop get out" even to the point where the one little girl grabbed my son's hands and pushed his hands off of toys! I told her to keep her hands to herself! This same little girl grabbed one of the soft play squares and pushed my two-year-old daughter down the step of the ball pit!!! I hope there's cameras so the owners can see this!! Even after all of this my son would not stop trying to play with them! The last time he went up to play with them I heard them both saying to my son get away, we don't want you here. We don't wanna play with you! I took it upon myself to go up to the parents.! What else was I supposed to do at this point leave?? These little girls are being mean now my children have to leave? No absolutely not so I tell the parents I said hey are these your girls? They both got up and said yes and I said they are being very mean to my three-year-old son ! We walk over to the girls the girls say to them that my son is calling them mean words! Meanwhile, we just left IVY REHAB for kids because my son is currently in speech therapy and probably says about five words which none of them are mean! The women say to the little girls "let him play with you" then they walk away and sit back down! Still not watching your children absolutely insane!!!!!!! after a woman comes up to you telling you that your children are being mean you would think that you would keep an eye on them, right??? At that point, I knew that we had to leave I could not sit there and continue to let these little girls pick on my son because that's exactly what was going to happen because the parents were not watching them whatsoever ! I understand they don't have to play with my son. That's completely fine but being mean is totally a different story. As a parent, this is extremely heartbreaking. DO BETTER WATCH YOUR CHILDREN ! This isn't a drop off so you can sit on your phone for almost an hour and a half!
