Two young employees in the shoe department were focused on restocking; after fifteen minutes of waiting, I asked one of them for assistance. (I also heard on one of their radios that someone was waiting for assistance in the shoe department. That'd be me - the only customer in the shoe department.) The two young employees avoided eye contact and the one I asked for help from told me the other employee would help me - I waited another ten minutes and neither stopped restocking to help me. I felt invisible, and angry, that I even bothered driving the 30 minutes it took to get here. I was planning on buying at least two expensive pairs of shoes for the upcoming school year - but alas, I'll be looking elsewhere. Not sure if the pressure to restock is so great from higher-ups or if the two young workers were simply avoiding working with customers. Either way, I will NEVER be back in this Dick's as there is clearly something wrong in this location. Looking at the other Yelp reviews, I'm not the only one with a bad shoe department experience. What a shame.

Instead of allowing her to remain in her carrier, I was told she had to be left in an outdoor concrete kennel. Expecting customers to leave a small dog outside, exposed to the weather, is unreasonable and concerning. I would never risk my pet's safety or well-being that way. As a longtime pet owner, I believe there should be more pet-friendly options or at least some flexibility for small dogs that are securely contained in travel carriers. Unfortunately, this experience has made me reconsider shopping here in the future.

During my most recent visit, one employee claimed my discount "wasn't showing up," even though I had already checked Nike.com before driving there specifically to confirm it was active. I also watched her click past the discount on the screen before suddenly deciding it "wasn't there." When I called it out, she denied it and immediately went to get a manager. Of course, the manager was able to apply the discount almost instantly. Then came the passive-aggressive comments implying it "might be because you have more than one account," despite the fact that I had already contacted Nike support beforehand and was clearly told it was not against policy. The entire interaction felt less like customer service and more like being interrogated for using a completely legitimate promotion. What's really baffling is the mentality behind it. Most businesses appreciate repeat customers spending large amounts of money in their store. Here, it felt like certain employees were actively annoyed that someone was successfully using Nike discounts exactly the way they were intended to be used. If employees are going to act personally bothered every time a customer gets a good deal, maybe Nike should stop advertising promotions altogether. Otherwise, don't make paying customers feel like criminals for using them.

There was one lady that followed me around was peeking around the merchandise racks and wouldn't let up. I get it's your job have an idea of who's in your store but at that point where you follow and lurk that's when you lose people. The manager was also very rude and you could clearly tell the rest of the store took after him for their personalities. This store needs to really figure stuff out or they will be like the rest of the retail stores closing.
