If I could give negative stars I would. Beware what you purchase in here! You might think you are purchasing something brand new but they sell second hand goods without telling you! I was in last summer and purchased a very expensive Rough and Tumble bag. The bag was having some issues so I contacted Rough and Tumble to work through getting it fixed. They asked that I first contact the retailer, Benoits, as they have a policy with the retailer to exchange/warranty etc. I want to mention Emily at Rough and Tumble was nothing but wonderful and gracious! She said if I have trouble with the store, don't hesitate to reach back out and Rough and Tumble will make sure it all gets handled. After 3 attempts to reach Benoits and 2 voicemails later I finally got a very rough gentleman on the phone. Come to find out, they did not purchase the bag directly from Rough and Tumble, yet purchased the bag second hand from a customer and proceeded to sell it first hand without ever telling me. They also marked the bag up WAY over what Rough and Tumble would have recommended for a retail value and did not give the proper advise on the leather type or how to maintain it because clearly, they had no idea. After Rough and Tumble attempted to reach out to Benoits to discuss the issue and the fact that they misled a customer with their product, the owner hung up on them several times!
You are not getting the quality, nor the product, you think you are getting when you buy from Benoits! There was no mention this was a second hand bag as they wanted to sell it for first hand prices. Not to mention the customer service was horrible. Beware - do not buy name brands here, or anything for that matter, unless it is cheap, because you have no idea what you are buying - and they don't stand behind their sales! read more
