Stumbled upon this Lululemon store after going to a bakery across the street. I've been to several Lululemon stores several different states. Generally, they all have good customer service and carry the same items. Some of the LL stores were located in malls and some were freestanding. This Lululemon is located on the third floor of an indoor mall. I found it to be larger than many of the other LL stores that I've visited. There was a lot more floorspace. I visited on a Sunday afternoon. There were only a few other customers in the store. Diane immediately greeted me and asked if I needed assistance. She helped set me up in a dressing room. The store was well organized and clean. I'm not sure if it was just my imagination, but they seemed to carry a larger inventory than most of the other stores I visited. I say this because I am ridiculously familiar with their current stock, both online and in stores, and I went to look at one shirt and ended up trying on 7 items and buying 2, none of which were the shirt I intended to look at. The dressing rooms were standard for LL. Customer service was very good. Prices were typical LL. There was a small selection of sale items. Love this LL. Wish it were closer to home.

Really? First to review for this location? You guys are so missing out, although maybe it's for the best that you don't know how great these workout clothes are or before you know it you'll be spending $150 on a workout outfit as well. I know, I know...I thought it was crazy at first too. I was ecstatic to hear that another Lululemon recently opened up in Chicago and this one is even more convenient to me than the location on Halsted, where I originally got hooked. You can read all about what I think about Lululemon for my review of the halsted store, but it truly is the best. It's so comfortable (and cute looking) that I now refuse to wear anything else to the gym and keep having to buy more and more because I can't seem to wash my current workout clothes fast enough...really the problem is that i just need to do laundry more often! This location is smaller than the original Chicago location and has less street wear clothes, but they still have plenty to choose from and amazing service. Today I was helped by the lovely fellow yelper, Kimberly C, and she definitely knows her stuff when it comes to workout clothing! I also love the sense of community you get from just being a customer at this store. Before I left I was given a flyer for free yoga classes at Lululemon on Wednesday evenings, as well as a free boot camp class on the beach. And I even had a nice chat with a sales associate who is also a pilates instructor at East Bank Gym about what pilates classes I should try at my new gym! There's no need to dread working out when you're a lululemon girl...they know how to make working out fun!

This is my favorite Lulu store! Walked in just as they opened and asked for help picking out a weightloss celebration outfit. CJ was happy to help and was super helpful and friendly. Some of the other stores can be a bit pretentious, but at 900 N Michigan, everyone is personable and helpful. I was surprised that the store had more sizes and color combinations than the app listed. I'll probably stop mail ordering and just drop in at this store, since they carry so much. All of the stuff I wanted and all in my size. Can't wait to roil in my new outfit!

I've probably spent just as much money on workout gear from Lulu as I have on four years' worth of college textbooks

Overall experience is 2/5, though the actual customer service itself has been more or less great…read more First of all, the phone system for 90% of the departments are AWFUL. It's nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of any department (I was calling nearly all of them). And the only department that picked up was Finishline. Jose from this department helped me immensely trying to wrangle the women's shoe department, calling me back to check on my inquiry when I called towards closing and was waiting for a call back from the department I was really trying to reach. I had to do my entire purchase over the phone, as this store was the only store to have the shoe I wanted in my size (I live in a different state), and I needed it ASAP for a special event. Since I called towards closing, I was supposed to get a call back. The women's shoe department failed to do so, so I called finishline again the next day (took me them an hour to pick up). It just felt like a lot of teeth pulling, but finishline and the manager of the men's department (Leticia I think but I don't remember I'm so sorry!) were really trying so hard to get the right apartment together (they physically had to run up stairs to communicate to them)! Super sorry I inconvenienced all the wrong departments, but I am immensely grateful for them! I got my shoes in time. Thank you! But please fix your phones at the cash registers or tell corporate to change the messaging in the automated phones because it was super frustrating spending hours trying to ring a phone.

I needed to find my bridal shoes and she needed to start looking at bridesmaids dresses. First of all, this is one of the prettiest Macy's I've ever been inside. I'm not sure if this is a normal big city thing, but feels like the entire store was just Macy's and not a mall which was cool. There seemed to be a lot of special deals on different items. Most of it was what you'd expect from a Macy's in terms of pricing. We had so much fun in the shoe section. They had a gorgeous selection of shoes to pick from. I ended up falling in love with some bridal shoes from Dolce Vita. I was so happy to be able to order them for pick up at my store back home so I didn't need to fly with them. We also tried on some other gorgeous shoes like ballet heels. In terms of formal dresses, it felt like they still mainly had their winter selection out, so we weren't able to find the exact green bridesmaid dress we were looking for, but we did get a good idea of what looked good vs what didn't. I highly recommend coming to this Macy's.

I recently went in for a complimentary free styling session (booked online) with Megan. She took her time with me and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. **Kari's Rating: 8/10** *(Would easily be a 9.5/10 if the beauty department weren't so…read moreoverwhelming.)* TL;DR * The beauty associates are *far* too aggressive--it feels impossible to browse without being approached every few seconds. * The café is still one of my favorite places in Chicago. * Free alterations on Nordstrom purchases and $25 for outside items is a huge plus. I've lived in River North for over eight years, and honestly, there's no place quite like Nordstrom. I grew up coming here with my mom, sitting in the café, eating pizza, and leaving with a "Nordy" balloon. Those are some of my favorite childhood memories, and to this day I still think about their margarita pizza. Now that I'm older, I bring my dog shopping with me, and she absolutely loves all the attention from the associates and other shoppers. We've been to the café countless times, and she would unquestionably give the kids' chicken and veggie meal a 10/10. Nordstrom is still my go-to department store because it's convenient, consistently carries the brands and style I wear, and the customer service outside of cosmetics has always been excellent. It's the first place I think of when I need clothing, shoes, or gifts. That said, the beauty department has become incredibly frustrating. I completely understand that many of the makeup associates work on commission, and I genuinely respect that they're doing their jobs. But there is a huge difference between being available to help and making customers feel like they can't exist in the department without being approached. Every time I walk through the makeup area, I can barely look at a product before someone is asking if I need help. If I say "I'm just browsing," another associate from a different brand approaches me literally seconds later. Then another. Then another. It gets to the point where I'm being interrupted every few steps. Instead of enjoying the experience, I feel anxious and rushed. I don't get to compare products or discover something on my own because I'm constantly trying to politely decline conversations. It honestly feels less like shopping and more like running a gauntlet. Ironically, the constant pressure makes me want to spend **less**, not more. I've actually skipped buying products because I just wanted to get out of that section as quickly as possible. I still love Nordstrom and will continue shopping here because it's my favorite department store and has everything I'm looking for. I just wish the beauty department adopted a more relaxed approach. Customers should be able to browse comfortably and ask for help when they're ready--not feel like they're being followed every few seconds.
