I've been practicing Bikram yoga for a few months now and wanted to reward myself by splurging on new yoga gear. I always see tons of cute Lululemon and have heard good things about the brand from other people in my classes. I had a wonderful shopping experience while at this location. I was greeted right away. I said that I was looking for anything geared toward hot yoga and was given several suggestions. While I tried some things on, the sales associate even checked in on me to see if the sizes/styles were working out and if I needed anything else. I was really impressed by their level of customer service! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I ended up with two tops and one pair of bottoms. I definitely could've gone crazy in there! I will definitely be back once my wallet has had a little chance to recover. read more

As a consumer, this Lululemon solved my all my problem with their products. While I was in Columbus, I purchased 3 ABC sweatpants that did not fit me correctly. I was told that Lululemon hemmed for free and I was stoked! 3 days later, the cuff of my pants were removed and the length was not what I requested for. From this moment on, I promised myself that I would NEVER comeback to Lululemon. A couple of weeks ago, I was at the mall and I came across the Lululemon store. I walked in perplexed whether or not I should purchase their ABC jogger. As I started to make my way out, a worker nicely asked if I needed help. I told her my issues from my previous purchase and she instantly showed compassion. She told me to just look for something I wanted and she would handle everything. I brought up a pair of the ABC joggers I was looking at and she said, "I will exchange the pants they destroyed with these." I went home, grabbed the pants and showed her what they had done. Without hesitation, she vowed that Lululemon did not condone to this sort of craftsmanship and gladly exchanged my pants and hemmed them to the exact specifications I requested! Friendly customer service. This location always seems to have plenty of employees ready to assist you. Staff is knowledgeable and willing to tell you the pros AND cons of their items. Actually chose a different style of pants today based on my activity and was told the pants I had in hand would not hold up. That being said, they have a quality guarantee. So if you buy something and it doesn't hold up like it should they will replace with a smile...don't wear something out and return but if there is a true issue, they stand behind what they sell. I have been to lululemon stores all over the US and you definitely can appreciate the friendliness and good customer service at this location. I have been to stores where they don't even give me the time of day. This store asks what exercise you prefer to do and helps guide you towards the right products. I visit and wear Lululemon from time to time. I am a big fan of their bags and on Sunday a bag I have had for two years bit the dust. On Sunday evening I ran into the store on my way to Clayton and they had the exact bag I wanted. I did ask a sales associate about two other bags I saw online. They did not have them in the store but offered to order them for me. I went with my original choice since it's exactly the same bag I was replacing and knew I'd like it. Very rude and snobby employees. I went there for a repair on a seam that was damaged and one of the workers gave me the option between repairing the leggings or just getting a new pair of leggings to replace the ones I had, so I of course chose the new pair. But then she proceeded to pass me onto a different employee and said right in front of me in a snobby tone "she wants a replacement for these leggings that BARELY have an issue with the seam". Like why give me the option if you're going to be rude about the one I chose? Then the other employee just stared at me with the dumbest face and didn't speak a word to me. When she finally did speak to me, it was the rudest, most condescending responses. She gave me dirty looks and spoke to me like I was dumb. I will definitely never be returning to this location. I've been to the West County location and it was the total opposite, the employees were so nice and welcoming. Really a shame that customer service seems to have no value at this location. read more

Yuck. So obviously, this brand caters to suburban moms. That's their demographic, that's who wears it the most. And that's great, there's nothing wrong with that. But for some reason, everyone at my daughter's school just loooooves Lululemon. They want to look like soccer moms, I guess. So I finally took my teenager here to get these ridiculously expensive, $80 leggings. The store was packed to the point of being uncomfortable, and it was also packed with people who looked exactly the same, aka white and middle to upper middle class. It's like adult children of the corn in there. The selection isn't great. We got our ugly $80 pants and got the heck out of there. I think that place might be my personal second circle of hades. My ass looks damn good for having an almost-one-year-old, thanks to my Lulu pants. I don't really consider this to be bragging since I give most of the credit to the pants themselves. They are comfy and perfect for workouts, lounging or running about town with a cute-looking behind. They are not especially inexpensive, which is why I waited 4 years before finally caving and buying a pair. I figured my postpartum booty deserved a treat. I thank myself every time I pull on my pants and check myself out. I found the staff at this Lululemon to be friendly and helpful--and nonjudgmental (at least not *outwardly*) when I told them I was more interested in wearing their pants as regular ol' clothes instead of for Ashtanga yoga classes. (They are great workout clothes, though--and they earn you compliments at Zumba like, "Wow, have you lost weight?" Ah, what a difference a week and new workout pants make!) The shop also carries my husband's most favorite-of-all-time shirts, which he refuses to buy unless they're on deep sale--but that makes them perfect gifts for Christmas and birthdays. And who knows? Maybe when I'm picking something up for him, I'll treat myself to some other figure-flattering gear. It might even see some workout time. read more

Confession: When we were first entertaining the idea of moving to St. Louis from San Francisco, among the first three things I did was to see if STL was home to a Lululemon. Crazy? Perhaps. Essential? Duh. I was glad to find the showroom in the CWE (http://www.yelp.com/biz/lululemon-athletica-st-louis#hrid:9ls0ZPlJxCIG4XZzY8EKcg), but have been waiting since before we even moved for the full Lululemon experience. And I am happy to say, after visiting opening weekend, I am not disappointed. They have done an amazing job with the space - It is gorgeous. The selection is very good, and I already walked away with another pair of my absolute fave: Wunder Under Crops. Bad, very bad, news for my wallet. But, let's face it, abfab news for my butt...and to look way cuter than I otherwise would when hitting the gym (er, when I make it there), or more importantly, when walking little B-dog around town! read more

To update. I had a terrible customer service experience regarding product quality. After shelling out $90 for capri running tights, I thought I deserved better than having the product "shaved" to remove the balls of fabric. Of note, I had a similar incident with a North Face garment and they replaced it immediately. Then, in late March 2013, I see an article in the San Francisco Chronicle explaining that the retailer was experiencing "quality" problems. Nail in the coffin. Save your money folks - check out higher quality, less expensive items from anybody else - Lucy, Nike, New Balance, Mizuno, to name a few. read more

It's expensive. The stuff is cute. Unfortunately, most of the stuff doesn't fit big bosomed girls (I guess only fat bottom girls make the rockin world go round). Still, I wanted to reward myself for sticking to my Pilates and triathlon training schedule. I actually shopped for my outfit twice. The first time, I had a lot of just-right help from a nice young gal (Annie, maybe). She helped me figure out what was what at Lululemon. Unfortunately, I had to dash out for a dinner date before making my final selection. So, I bopped back in there to pick up where I left off. I'm glad I had a little cooling off period because those $90 Ohm pants didn't seem so fabulous on the second trip; they were comfy, but $90??!!! And this time, the service was way overbearing. Every five minutes I'd hear, "How's it going, Susan?" over the top of the dressing room door. I really hate trying on clothes, so in general, the answer to that question is going to be "Pretty sucky." So, please don't ask me over and over and over again. I did pick up a nice pair of crops for Pilates. I think I'm going to be very happy with them. Still, I really wanted to purchase a Chaturanga top in my size, the only one really appropriate for me---decent enough support for low impact and lots of coverage. Of course--none in my size. None in my size online. I settled for something else--but I hope no one gets an eyeful. The sizing is a little crazy here, too. The bottoms seem to have women's sizing, but anything with bra cups is too skimpy. Just sayin. read more

High quality, comfy work-out clothes... or casual ware. Their materials are soft, sleek, and breathable. The clothes last if you take care of them. They suggest washing together and not with other cottons. But if you do run into a problem, they are happy to exchange them with no questions. I had a rip in the side of one of my pairs of shorts. I'm really not sure how it got there but it turned up after washing. Without receipt, they exchanged them. The only negative is that the clothes are expensive. $60 for a pair of casual shorts is steep. read more

Still a fan of Lululemon for their free yoga classes every Sunday at every store location. I first found out about the complimentary classes while perusing all the ultra-high end, super cute, yoga duds I'll never justify buying a year or so ago, but I never gave it a shot until this fall. I've been missing out. Every week Lululemon stores around the country bring in local yoga instructors from the area and they teach a complimentary class on Sunday to however many people can pack themselves into the store (which can be quite a lot). So this particular Sunday I was home visiting St. Louis for Thanksgiving and after gorging myself on turkey and pumpkin pie over the previous few days, yoga seemed like a great way to try and get back to health before the second round of holidays. We had a great class led by a yogi that involved lots of downward dogs, chaturanga dandasanas, and cobra poses. It was just what the doctor ordered: I felt stretched, relaxed and much more centered afterward. Now, for the retail side of Lululemon. Yes, it's expensive as all get out, yes I still want to own everything in the store, and yes, I have friends who are believers in Lululemon and swear by it. I'm almost afraid to buy something for fear of getting hooked and never being able to go back. It's a slippery slope I'm not ready to start sliding down. I love their stuff, but for now, I'll stick to the great freebies Lululemon provides. read more

As a person from Vancouver where Lululemon originated, I've been wearing Lululemon for over 10 years now. Their fabric is fabulous, comfortable and fully functional. It holds up really well, and the colors and styles they offer are amazing! Don't be surprised to spend anywhere from $100 and up at this store - but, it's fully worth it in my opinion! I must say that this location is not my favorite though. They have an okay selection (the store itself is not that large) and the men's section is pretty small as well. I only say this because I'm used to shopping the vast selection of styles and colors they have at the Vancouver store (which is a much bigger store). As a brand though, it's excellent and I highly recommend it. read more

The one in the west end is much better and the employees are much nicer. I went into the Frontenac location last week and was trying on some stuff after my yoga class and not only did the women that work there treat me like I was some sort of leper when I asked for a different size, when I was trying something on in the dressing room, I took my tennis shoes off and I heard one of the employees complain that it smelled like feet and she took a spray bottle of cleaning product and sprayed it at me under the dressing room door. It's an athletic wear store where are all the employees are constantly asking you where you work-out, do none of their feet smell after the hours of yoga they do? I really wanted to be able to write a bad review of this place. There are so many things that I don't appreciate: - their placement in the pretentious mall where some of the shopkeepers are not so friendly - my opinion that they encourage 40+ year old women to dress like their teenaged daughters - the prices of their clothes are crazy high That said, I have to give them 4 stars. I have a Teen who is a fan so I end up there from time to time (okay, more often than I care to admit) buying her their clothing. Each time, the salespeople have been unbelievably friendly and helpful. For example, the last time I was in there I just wanted to buy her the shorts that all of her friends wear. I asked the sales lady (who cheerfully offered help right away when I walked in the place) for the shorts that all of the 14 year olds wear and she showed me right to them. She then showed me the difference between some of the shorts and why the kids like a certain model. I picked out some shorts and went over to the tank tops, where another friendly lady helped me pick one out to go with the shorts. Not only did she help me pick a style, she also recommended that I size down because they run big. She even put one on to demonstrate how they fit! Then, when I went to check out, I told the clerk that the items were for my daughters' birthday and she hooked me up with a big bag and a gift card holder, which a lot of the girls use as a coin purse. On another note, the clothes are pricey but they seem to wear well. They are some of the most worn clothing that my daughter owns and are still in tip top shape. Being a personal trainer, I give lululemon a lot of business. I've had positive experiences online and most of the time in store. However, recently I was treated so poorly that I decided to write a review. I've come in several times to return online orders. I had accidentally purchased two of the same items, on different days, different orders altogether (never got a confirmation for the first order, so ordered another, just to find that I now had two orders in...). When I came in to return, I had the order information up on my lululemon app, showed the cashier, and assumed a return would be underway. The two order mishap was confusing to him, he couldn't figure it out, and essentially berated me for coming in with an online return and no physical receipt. Aside from the mansplaining, my issue wasn't even resolved; my return was given back to me for store credit and I was treated completely differently than those coming in purchasing products from the store (and I shouldn't have been). Not a fan of workers acting like they're god's gift to the world because they work at lululemon. You just work at a lululemon. I went down the hall to Athleta and was taken care of immediately by 3 employees. Hope this helps! I prefer the West County Lululemon pop up better. The people are much nicer. read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I asked if they would call the new store in central west end to see if they carried a different color of a shirt and they made up excusing on why that store would not have the shirt, so I had to call myself while I was in the plaza Frontenac store and turns out the central west end store did have the shirt in stock. The customer service in the Plaza Frontenac store has never been the greatest, I find myself ether never once being asked if I need help or being constantly haggled on why I should buy more of something I'm not interested in. I purchase a lot of clothing from Lululemon and I decided to give this location one last shot and I don't think I will ever shop at this location again. read more

I'm sad I have to write this review because I love lulu clothes. I went in to use my personal training discount, which is a measly 10% off my purchase and the manager with her passive aggressive demeanor proceeded to accuse me of buying the clothes for someone else because they were a size smaller than the shorts I've bought in the past. She repeatedly told me the discount was only to be used for me and eye-balled my daughter who was with me because she thought I was buying the clothes for her. What ever happened to the customer is always right? If I owned that store and my employee made a scene like that, I would have fired her right on the spot. read more

The items here aren't especially inexpensive, but if treated right (washed in cold water, sans fabric softener, and hung to dry) they will last. For customers who are petites, and I count myself in that group, the store offers complimentary hemming on yoga bottoms for the life of the item. Sometimes the sale racks yield good bargains. I found a couple of tops and a pair of running shorts at the end of summer sale last year. It's probably best to stalk these items when they are on sale and to pay full price for the workout bottoms, which are snapped up quickly in large part due to their derriere-flattering properties. Definitely keep your mind open when it comes to sizing--the line is designed in Canada and items do run smaller than, say, GapBody. Once you get past the initial sticker shock and start thinking in terms of my favorite calculation: cost per (workout) wear, you'll wonder how you ever survived without Lulu! read more

The color options at this store are always drab blacks and grays. They are uninspiring. I walk into any other Lulu store in Honolulu, Whistler, Chicago and the colors and staff are inspiring and enthusiastic. The staff was friendly for the most part, but some of their staff need to be reminded that you can't talk down to customers just because you work in a highfalutin area. I brought leggings in to be sewed back up after having rips in the seams and they were old and not fixable. I was told "I can't believe we used to even sell these they are so old they aren't meant to last forever". Understanding, but there is a proper way to say those things to a customer without making them feel as if they need to be up to date with every new clothing they release. They are 100 dollars and that money for some isn't just tossed around so respect that. I'm by no means buying their things and oblivious to the price. They need to get their staff in the loop that not every customer walking in there is the same. read more
