Two of us went there. I had two pair of pants to be hemed and they were fine. My wife had two pair…read moreof pants and was told by the greeter/cashier, "Why did you wait until the last minute to bring them in," She had just bought the the day before, did not need them for three days and there business ' name is "Alterations While You Wait." No need for that admonition from the cashier. A simple, "It is Prom time, we are backed up terribly and are unable to meet your deadline," would have been acceptable. I may return, but my wife took her pants back to the store and will wait 7-10 days and save $70.00 on alteration fees, and receive outstanding customer service.

Interesting . My pants( Taper and hem, removal of zippers) were dropped off on july 7 . It is now…read moreSept 9. They never call you and no one seems to know what's going on in that shop . I went in a week after I dropped them off and he said" Oh I haven't reached them yet. " Oh I said very patiently , You said they would be done in a week ."No word for another week , went in as usual and met with a cat and mouse game . I'm patient and I wasn't demanding like it seemed everyone else needed a prom dress etc . Totally unprofessional .Like Everyone of us is a paying customer and we all have a number 1,2,3 . Address us accordingly in order .But last week I went in and asked for my jeans ,they couldn't find them , Said they were under a pile of forgotten clothes ( Maybe that's why it's sept) . And said maybe I just should spank him in front of customers .!!!For 1)unprofessional , 2) never again and word of mouth is a mFR , and 3 ) flirting with a customer in front of other clients , and 4 ) Don't work with a project which is clearly out of your scope of practice . Do wedding dresses only . I rate negative 500.

I'm kind of like Katherine Heigl in that movie 27 Dresses. Well, okay, I only have 5 dresses- but…read morestill. 2 of those 5 dresses I've had altered by Pauline. I tried another company for one of them, had a friend's mom do one- and I made the mistake of not getting one of them altered. A second trip to Pauline convinced me of what I already knew- she is friendly, professional, and does great work. She's also extremely affordable. My last set of alterations only cost me $20.24! My one and only complaint, if I had to make one, is that she is SOOO far away, and because she does alterations out of her home, it is a little tough to find if you are not familiar with the area. Despite all of that, I'm a huge fan, and I'll definitely be going back to her when (and not if) I am in another wedding. One thing to note, however- is that she does NOT press the dress for you, so you'll need to have that done separately!

Pauline was the perfect choice for my wedding gown alterations! I am fairly new to the Cincinnati…read morearea, so I had no word of mouth or prior experience to guide me. I originally chose Pauline because of her great prices and location. I liked that she took appointments on some evenings, so that it did not interfere with my work schedule. I had my first fitting/consultation eight weeks before my wedding, as she recommmended. She works out of her home, but has a professional area with a full body mirror and a private space to change. During my first fitting, I could tell Pauline is a perfectionist... which is exactly what I want in someone altering the most expensive article of clothing I'll ever wear! She did everything she could to make the dress fit perfectly and look amazing, and it worked! I met with her once more five days before my wedding for my final fitting. The dress fit exactly how it was supposed to. I loved that she she sewed in two hooks at the top of the zipper, one tighter than the other. This made it so when my strapless dress stretched throughout the day, we could switch it to the tighter hook so it didn't slip down at all. I brought my maid of honor with me and Pauline showed her how to bustle the dress (I had a ball gown with a long train). Pauline performed the following services for me all for just over $200: -took in the dress by a couple sizes -sewed in bra cups -inserted a few stays to keep the bodice from wrinkling -fixed a few beading areas -bustle
