I was impressed that Luke (owner) came out for a free quote and provided moving tips and suggestions to make the process smoother and cut down on time (even though that meant fewer billable hours for his company). The day of the move, Chris, Chris and Anthony worked hard and quickly, while being funny, courteous and all-around nice guys. They were very careful with all of my boxes and furniture items, expertly wrapping the pieces to avoid scratches. Moving is always a pain but these guys made it more than tolerable. I have had some horrible movers but by far this company showed me how moving should be. They wrapped all my furniture efficiently and took care of my stuff like it was their own. I was out of my house in south Fort Worth in about an hour and moved to Addison. Everything was actually done in 2 hours and 40 min with an hour drive. 3 hour minimum at $95 and hour, best part no fuel cost and they hustle!!!! Will be using them again for sure! read more

This was a great decision to use Luke's! Holly the receptionist answered my calls promptly and answered all of my questions professionally. She made me feel like a long lost friend and was extremely helpful! There was one issue with a new mover who cracked a marble table but it was returned as good as new within the week and I was constantly informed of the progress. Luke himself even personally delivered it and made sure it was up to my standards. The movers were very hardworking, efficient and friendly to talk to. I had no concerns. I absolutely recommend these guys! We had a move from a house in Coppell, where we had to split and take half to a home in Garland, then half to Euless. It was the second move of the day for this three man team and it was hot and humid outside. These guys were great! They had everything packed and loaded as quick as they possibly could. The Garland home was a tight fit on some larger items getting them into the bedrooms, and these guys just adjusted and muscled through. The move to Euless after that, I know these guys had to be exhausted, and I was moving into an upstairs apartment, and I had a LOT of stuff, but they muscled through that as fast as they could as well, and ended around 10 pm. I know they had a really long and hard day, but were completely friendly and professional with no complaints the whole time. We'll definitely use them again! read more

We found out last minute our house was closing and we had 3 days to get out. We called Luke's and they were able to get us scheduled on the day and time we needed. Fantastic customer service on the phone. Matt showed up early, had all the dolly's, blankets and everything else needed for our move. They busted their a**es moving all our stuff. They never stopped. They dropped off at 2 locations and took less time than originally quoted. Nothing was broke and they managed to put everything into our storage unit, neatly packed to the ceiling! I can not say enough great things about them, they were absolutely awesome. Will definitely call them to unload our storage when we buy our house. read more

They did a good job on our stuff, but they were intentionally slow loading. It took them 3 hours loading for a small amount of stuff. Caught them goofing around. I would not hire this company because they quote you a price per hour, and then try and get as many hours as possible. Over $700 for a small 2 BDR apartment? Get serious! Try someone else. read more

Thank you to Chris, Zach, and Quentin for the excellent move. They moved me yesterday in the scorching heat and carried items upstairs/downstairs, dealt with my numerous items that were not organized well, and made sure everything made it to the next location without any problems. They even placed a cumbersome couch on the rug exactly how I wanted it, moved heavy items in the new location, and asked where to put things instead of just trying to hurry up and get out, all without making me feel badly...and I know they were tired! I felt safe and comfortable with them and really appreciate how they worked to make sure I was happy with everything. And about the company overall, I highly recommend them. I had a scheduling miscommunication in the beginning, and Holly made sure I was taken care of. My fiancee and I moved a little over a week ago, and we had Luke's Moving Services help us move our stuff over to our new apartment. I have nothing but great things to say about the kind of service we received from them. Austin and Homer were the ones that moved our stuff over and they did a phenomenal job! They took all the necessary precautions to make sure that nothing got damaged or scratched, which we greatly appreciated. With only a ONE DAY notice I was able to schedule them to move me :) My move was in Fort Worth and I was very happy that this Euless based company could accommodate me. No extra trip charges or hidden fees. The day of the move I received a call letting me know that they were on the way- which was very nice! Timing was prompt and the crew was fast and efficient- but careful. They provided blankets, straps and everything else needed to secure my belongings. All of my things arrived at my new home exactly in the same condition (not always the case with other companies) The pricing was amazing too! This company is fantastic!! Having never used a moving company before, i was very nervous, especially after hearing those horror stories all your friends and family tell you from when they have moved with other companies. I had them scheduled for a 9am arrival time with a 3 man crew and a two hour minimum. They got my apartment at 920am. They had gotten lost but they did call me for directions. They all introduced themselves and shook my hand and went straight to work. I had everything I wanted for them to take in the living room with the exception of a dresser and nightstands in the master bedroom. They asked me what they were taking and what they were not. I gave them the run down, they had me signed the contract and they got to moving. They took great care of my furniture! They wrapped everything in blankets, ducked tape it, then plastic wrapped it, including the washer dryer and the fridge. Everything was very well protected. I did not have to take my drawers out of my dresser or night stands either. They wrapped it as is. We left my original apartment together and they followed me out to my new apartment. It was about 30minutes of drive time. Once we got there, they parked the truck and started unloading. When they got it into the apartment they did ask me where I wanted the items placed and placed them for me. They even offered to hook up my washer and dryer, and they would have had my units had the right plugs for the new apartment outlets. They did offer to stay and help put furniture together. I did not need them to as my boyfriend and I were going to do that. I moved from a second floor (no elevator) 2 bedroom apartment to a third floor (no elevator) 2 bedroom apartment....the total time was 5.5 hours. (920A-250P) my rate was $150.00 per hour and that included everything, fuel, tolls, furniture wrapping. I did use a card to pay so there was an additional 3% fee which i was made aware of when i booked initially. They also took one, five minute break which they asked to do first before they took it. I was so impressed with their hustle especially in the middle of a Texas August. I will definitely be using them again next time we move!! Re: small, small move. Apartment-to-apartment move in Grapevine, TX. No truck needed, just a couple of movers for a couple of hours. The first three places I called all required a truck/fuel fee of upwards of $150 (you have go to be kidding). As soon as I mentioned to Holly at Luke's A+ I did not need a truck she said she would only charge $20 for the usual $50 fee for fuel. Even at full price, the $50 was a whole less expensive than $132 - $150 quoted by All My Sons and Kingdom Mission. Just the fact Holly was aware of my situation, she could immediately personalize the requirements and the price. Hourly prices run about $99/hr with a 2-hour minimum in the Grapevine area; Luke's A+ was $95/hr. read more

After another moving company cancelled on me with less than 12 hours notice, I was frantically searching for someone who could move me on the same day I scheduled. I feared if I found someone, it was going to cost me double what I had budgeted for. Also, everything was planned around this moving day and I couldn't have it changed. I was referred to Luke's and when I called the lady I spoke with was SO helpful and immediately said they could do it. The movers came on time the very next morning, took such good care of my furniture and belongings, they were very friendly, it ended up being minimally more than what the other company was charging me... I can't say enough good things about them. I wish I had known about them when I originally booked my move, I would have gone with them the whole time. I would give it a 0 star if it is possible. This is by far the worse moving experience I have ever had. I needed help moving out of a 3 bedroom house and was quoted $155 a hour for a 3 men team. They arrived on time on moving date with no tools to take apart furniture but a vise grip and a screwdriver bit. The 3 men don't work as a team. When one is struggling to move an item, others don't help which makes the moving process slower. It took them over 30 minutes to take apart a 4 bolt breakfast table. The fridge we have is very large, it had trouble getting it in the kitchen when we bought it. It is necessary to remove all doors and tracks in order to get it out of the threshold. But of course, they have NO TOOLS. It took them at least 2.5 hours just to get it on the truck. All of our things where packed in boxes and only the furniture needs attention to. More than 6 hours was taken to get everything in the truck and a little less than 2 hours to get everything moved into the new house. They broke the back piece of my desk which it was eventually patched up by a guy they sent. Bottom line is that I don't recommend this company. If you do have to use them, make sure they bring tools or have your own available. read more

Moved from a 2nd story apartment to rental home. Moved out and in within 3.25 hours. They sent three guys and they were all very nice and professional. They wrapped all the furniture and delicate objects. They helped allocate the boxes in the right room and put everything back together quickly.
