DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They lost some of my stuff. I moved to Florida , from Dallas, and They hired a 3rd-party delivery company to deliver my stuff to Florida. This company had a delivery truck (barely operable) that leaked huge amount of oil in my driveway and they said they would pay to have it cleaned, NEWS FLASH, they did not. You know how they put stickers on every item you have so they can check it in when the deliver? They don't check it in!! I asked the delivery guys why they're not checking-in the sticker numbers and he said "they don't do that" and "I don't need to worry about it, it'll be fine"...sure enough, I'm missing luggage, 2 Garment Bags which contained several work suits, vacuum, carpet cleaner, and a box or two. Two pieces of furniture (DR chair, one of 8 & bed footboard) were damaged and the keys to my jewelry armoire were lost entirely, not to mention a number of other items. Element wants US to PAY $1000 more for a deductible to have these pieces fixed and a locksmith for the armoire. Beyond disgusted! read more

I've moved twice in the past 5 years and the last two moving companies had employees that stole items from the move. I was super skeptical and nervous to use a moving company again, but of course I needed help. I expressed my concerns to Jeff and he assured me that his team has been with the company a long time and are not subs that are picked up in front of Home Depot. This is critical to ask. Logan and team were great. They showed up on time and got the move done in the agreed upon time. They couldn't have been nicer and did a great job moving heavy equipment upstairs. We spent over $40K in moving and storage expenses with Elements to move and store our furniture for 9 months. When they moved us into our new home they lost 5-6 boxes. Including my wife's entire wardrobe, kitchen supplies, family photos, etc. They said that all boxes were accounted for and were totally unresponsive. We had numerous problems with the president of the company, who refused to acknowledge any problems they had. Including trying to charge us $1,100 overage over the original estimate. read more

Element was great on the packing and loading end in Dallas but when our things arrived in Evanston, IL, after a month of their free storage, there was water damage and heat damage amounting to about $2,500: moldy lampshades, ruined scrapbook and photos, water damage to the finish of a table and heat damage to the finish of four dining room chairs. When asked about the water damage, they could provide no explanation. They did make it clear that their free storage was not climate controlled but assured us that the heat rarely rose above 85 degrees in their warehouse and that they had few complaints. We were provided only $108 in compensation for our losses. I would not use this company again but if you do, it would be wise to purchase your own insurance to cover the move. read more

They carried boxes marked "Fragile" upside down, broke items in half, water-damaged upholstered items, and their contract obviously requires waiving most claims. I had a very disappointing experience with Element in November 2025. I had new carpet installed on Thursday, and my items were moved the next day. As soon as the movers arrived, I asked them how they would protect my carpet. While they laid plastic on the staircase, along the hallway, and to the entrance of each room, that is all they did. When each box was set directly on the carpet, it left very obvious stains. I requested compensation. No one ever came to my home to conduct a walk-through and assess the damage. Obviously, I was reluctant to clean the new carpet as this removes the protective seal, but I had no alternative. I sought a vendor to clean the carpet whose products would not leave a residue. I submitted the cleaning invoice to Element, which I had paid in full. Element only offered less than one half of the cost of the cleaning. If they paid for the carpet cleaning in full, I would have felt they had dealt with me fairly. I paid Element almost $9,000 for a move-out, storage, and move back in. My carpet value and installation was just under $6,000. They could at least have paid for its cleaning and compensated me for its damage. read more

Upfront loading and packing were good. Items were stored free for a month to allow us to close on a new house. We were concerned about storage in the TX weather but were assured all would be good. There is absolutely no doubt that when loaded onto the van from our house inTX that all the items were dry. When delivered to our place in IL several items had obviously been damaged by water. Certainly this could be verified by the loading crew. We do not know where, how or by whom several of the boxes that had been packed by their crew were damaged but upon delivery it was clear from the condition of the bottom of the boxes and the mold and damages to surfaces of furniture that they had been exposed to water and heat. Finishes of several furniture items were severely damaged and mold on lampshades and other things. My wife wrote a review and the company's response implied she didn't know what she was talking about or was being disingenuous. When the fact is there was no water/ moisture in any of the items when Element took possession but significant water damage when they were delivered a month later. read more

The good news. We used Element Moving and Storage to move from Plano Texas to Monument Colorado. The process on the front end was great. They came to my house, worked with me to get pricing and even gave me boxes to move. The move out was great. Element had 5 movers. They stored my furniture until I found a home. The bad news: Element bids our belongs to a 3rd party company. They do not have any control on what happens on the final end. Element did work with me to have delivery on a certain date. This is where it ends and it all went bad. The driver shows up with 2 kids, yes kids. They are very young. I had some VERY heavy furniture and know they cannot lift it together. I had to assist them with all of my heavy furniture. I have a bad back but still helped because I didn't want my furniture to break. It got to a point where I had to jump in and help put my furniture together because I didn't want them here until midnight. I checked all by boxes, however, Element didn't label my boxes right and some of them had the same label. I had no idea what or how there system was. I am still missing a box. The issue is: I have no idea what was in the box because they labeled it wrong. Had I known or been told that they bid out to a 3rd party to deliver furniture, I would have thought twice. They have no control on how many workers the driver had. The driver told me he calls for help. I really didn't want to help with my back back but didn't have a choice. I paid a TON to get my delivery and it could have been a lot better. read more

Over the last 30 years I have moved 7 times and I can honestly say Element Moving is the best and most reliable moving company! Most employees have been with the company for over 10 years and are dedicated and very respected by the owners! Lee the owner personally showed up to bring lunch to the movers and ensure I was happy with the service! I will never use another company again! UPDATE I always believe that the true measure of a business is not if there's a problem but how the business handles the problem should one occur. In my initial review there were some problems with billing. After that time I was contacted and the matter was rectified within 24 hours. Everyone deserves an opportunity to make things right. My wife and I hired Element Moving & Storage to move our belongings from Dallas, Texas to Colorado Springs, Colorado. Sadly the experience was far from satisfactory and certainly no the "white glove" service advertised. The whole process from beginning to end was disappointing. To start, Lisa came out to provide an estimate. When she arrived, her first comment was, "Oh WOW, this is way over what I was told." Her demeanor was unprofessional and did nothing to ease the stress of moving. While she later apologized for being rude, claiming it was just her "New York demeanor", it set a negative tone from the onset. On the day of the move, the team leader, Timothy Lunch, was unprofessional and even removed his uniform shirt to work in a sleeveless undershirt. At the end of the day, he requested a gratuity. Cynthia agreed to add it to the bill, but he demanded to be paid with cash or check directly to him. Ultimately, she felt intimidated and paid him a small gratuity check even though she felt uncomfortable doing so. To make matters worse, after they left, we discovered a few missing items and tried to contact the team leader for clarification. He answered initially, but claimed to be too busy to provide immediate assistance and never followed up. After a month of storing our belongings, two third-party movers, Janvier and Darren, hired by Element, arrived to deliver our items in Colorado. They had an offensive body odor that was so unpleasant we had to ask them to stay outside and hire local movers to finish moving our items into the house. In fact, the local movers told these guys they would have been fired if they had shown up at a client's home smelling so offensive. As a safeguard, we have a bank account we used only for our move. We had the exact amount needed moved into this account for payment, but the mover called a day prior requesting cash or a cashier's check. After a long ordeal, the office allowed us to use our debit card. Lastly, we were upset to find 10 of our moving blankets were missing after the move. We contacted the mover, but he never responded back to us. Overall the service was disappointing and unprofessional. Cynthia addressed all the above issues and more with Element. Outside of the refund of the gratuity check she felt pressured to write, nothing has been done to make things right in any way. Based upon our experience, I would not recommend Element Moving & Storage, especially if you are looking for white glove service. read more

We chose them because the front end was so impressive. They walked our house to make sure they could move everything we needed. I felt confidant that they would do a good job. I was very wrong. They damaged every piece of heavy furniture. Wont pay out claims till you pay them the full invoice, even after a bad move. Movers spent an hour our my time to figure out how to move the truck and load it up. After the front end that said we had plenty of room in the truck to add things, we couldn't move 3 pieces of furniture in the truck (washer, dryer and Compost bin). We luckily moved all the screens and breakable things ourselves before hand. Glad we didn't let them handle them, they wouldn't have fit and would have broken them. They said they would take care of my egg grill and had some crate of it.....of course it was damaged. Claims is worse. They dont tell you that they dont cover items in the claim. I would not have let them move them if i knew they were not insured. It would have been better to do this move all by myself rather than deal with them. They demand payment, but do not accept responsibility for any part of their damages. read more

We had a great experience with Element. They called 30 min beforehand as promised to confirm their arrival. They loaded our 4 bedroom house in 2 two large trucks in 2 hours. There were careful to wrap items and put blankets across furniture. We had about 100 boxes and those were scooped up with no problem. The movers were fast and courteous. I was skeptical on getting the bang for my buck since I'm a cheapskate. However, it was worth every penny. read more

From the first phone call to see if they had our planned move date available and inquire about pricing, we had nothing but friendly interactions. They were super helpful over the phone and made sure to get a detailed inventory of what all we needed moved in order to provide an accurate quote. We booked them during that first call and we received a follow up call a few days before the move to confirm they we still coming and let us know about what time they would be here. We also got a call that morning letting us know they were about 30 minutes away and they arrived in the expected arrival window. The guys that came were very friendly, respectful, and strong! They got everything wrapped and loaded up pretty quickly and unloaded even faster. Our 6 hour estimate ended up only taking 4 and a half hours which saved us money. Nothing was damaged or broken and they made sure to reassemble everything they disassembled and took all the shrink wrap off everything. Such a great experience! read more

I contacted Element Moving and Storage my move my household goods because they had good reviews. I also purchased Element's insurance for works of art that were to be transported. Element Moving and Storage "forgot" to load furniture on the truck that was sitting in the living room. Element forgot to load the work of art on the walls, this is irritating since I paid extra for this service. And the list goes on to ad nauseum. Element employees were not trained and did not care. I bought everyone a meal and their trash was left in the living room floor and at five o clock on the dot they left without finishing. Element Moving and Storage did not fulfill their contract. Element did more than a thousand dollars' worth of damages to the destination location. Element employees stole items while they were moving, more than five hundred dollars' worth. Insult to injury their brand of insurance is a Bait and Switch scam. Buyer beware their insurance is worthless. Now I hire a lawyer and small claims court we go. If you hire Element Moving and Storage have your lawyers number handy. read more
