I waited a week for this appointment and then they said IF they have time the can replace the filling that fell out. What do you mean if? I scheduled this appointment to get it fixed not for a consultation. I was never informed that there would be a consultation I was only informed that I had an appointment to fix the filling. So when I walked in, I was underneath the impression that I would get the filling fixed. Especially with an exposed root, a missing filling can lead to bacteria to get into the root of the tooth faster and can lead to bigger problems if not fixed promptly. For some reason, there was no urgency to get this fixed. Then talked to the financial department to which they inputted my information wrong and told me I had to pay $215 out of pocket, which I then contacted my insurance and they said that was not true and that fillings are covered underneath my insurance. I was frustrated and on the verge of tears because I was not expecting this to be such a hassle, having to deal with an absurd wait time, then having my tooth glanced at, then the information being put in wrong, then them telling me this was just a consult not a fix which is what I thought we were doing, I was visibly upset and confused and angry because I have never had a consult done over a filling that fell out, I would always just tell the provider it fell out and needed to be replaced and they'd schedule enough time for both a consult and to do the job. After all that hassle the lady who helped me had ZERO empathy and understanding for my situation and just suggested that I leave and go somewhere else for tooth care because I was upset. Lady, I was upset because I was left for an hour in the waiting room and then some more time just sitting in a chair, I was not informed correctly of what would happen this appointment, and then I was told misinformation. The next morning I arrived at the scheduled time and was met by Julia at the front desk. She took my information and directed me to the waiting area where I helped myself to the Keurig machine. I was amused that the office staff elected to play Ke$ha in the waiting room but... I sort of liked it. Moments later I was met by Jill, the Dental Assistant, who directed me to the back and performed the imaging. She took only a few minutes and then sent me on my way back to Dr. Osborn with a CD containing the images. I was only at Dr. Frank's office for a brief time but each of the staff were very friendly. Julia and Jill each greeted me with a handshake and a smile. It's apparent the doctor only hires top notch staff. The only thing I found odd about the arrangement was that Dr. Osborn told me the imaging would cost just $100, and that Dr. Frank was just across the parking lot. While both of these things were true I couldn't help but think... does this just mean Dr. Frank will be buying the first round of drinks at the golf course this weekend? Oh well.

Today I went back to Laser Dental with Dr. Jeannie Molato. To have my temporary crown after having…read morea root canal. I had my 2nd set of braces for over 4-5years with other dentist (Philippines) and the only problem that I had was 1 tooth that was not aligned. Dr. Molato removed my braces and cleaned my teeth then we did the fitting for my crown and had my temporary crown placed. And again it was a very chill 3hrs procedure watching my favorite episode on Netflix while she's working on my teeth. I asked her what she can recommend cause I don't wanna put another set of braces again or see another new dentist. Dr. Molato suggested a Bioclear procedure and explained the whole process and what to expect and even showed me a picture sample of it. Now I'm just waiting for my permanent crown and hopefully give you all an update of my before and after if ever I proceed with my Bioclear. Uploaded my new picture with a confident smile. Previously, I avoided the dentist like the plague due to negative experiences, but Dr Molato changed that. She is kind, funny, nonjudgmental, always positive, and knows how to give a painless shot!!! I don't know how she does it, but her shots don't hurt! She is the only dentist in the area certified for Bioclear. I've had mine for 4 years and they look like new. I've also had a partial bridge and crowns done here too. She's a perfectionist when it comes to my smile, and every procedure she does looks perfect when she's done. I refer everyone I know to her. I ended up having a gum graft done across four teeth (three on right, one on left). I'm about 6 hours out of the procedure as I type this. If you just follow their instructions, you will be fine. It was a long procedure, almost 2 hours, but not exactly something you can do quickly. Other than some pressure in my mouth, I did not feel the slightest bit of pain. Even six hours out of the procedure, I feel no pain and barely any swelling. I followed their instructions to the letter, eating soft foods and alternating acetaminophen and ibuprofen and icing my face. I really can't recommend this place enough. Listen to their post-op instructions and you'll be fine.
