Everything he says isn't wrapped in a bow, but it makes PERFECT sense & it's not the dentists job to make you feel good about your teeth. Especially if they're COVERED in plaque. He's also correct, Why clean the plaque off (causing bleeding gums & probably gum disease due to lack of brushing. The plaque will only continue to return!) He was just telling the mother & child the truth. The medical findings. We don't hafto like it... it's important to me that my dentists are capable, knowledgeable, experienced, and capable of completing the tasks needed. They can and WILL do this here. But they're not going to help you treat your teeth like crap. Wrong place for that. Also they do not take medical. A simple phone call prior to the appointment would've saved those people a trip. Why people don't call before they show up & ask the questions they need to ask BEFOREHAND is beyond me! These are my teeth after 6 months of back n forth at the BEST IN BAKERSFIELD for realllll!! (I do not mean Dr. K who handed my sister in law her crowns in a ziploc baggy & told her to "take em to the lab yourself & gave em fix what you don't like" lol I've been to him.. I was in the waiting room longer than his chair. THAT is a prick. I'm well versed. These Drs are NOT. Just hafto tell them what you need, they'll get it for you! It started with a soreness then progress to all my lower front teeth. I was in so much pain. It was a Saturday and I didn't know if I could stand the pain until Monday. My wife happened to find this dentist that had awesome reviews, so I decided to try. The Doctor was very friendly and professional. He got me in ASAP. In the process of looking at my gum he noticed a severe tarter build up on my front lower back of teeth. That was my main issue. The Doctor and his Dental partner...I believe her name was Danielle were so busy that they didn't have really any time that day, but somehow they were able to squeeze me in. Thank God. During the numbing process to the deep cleaning process They were very gentle, courteous, and made sure I was comfortable in all aspects of my dental work. I want to thank you both for the awesome experience with your business. You 2 rock. I will definitely be a new customer. I was dealing with excruciating nerve pain in a molar when I began calling every possible dentist…read morein Bakersfield to get me in for an emergency appointment. This office was the only one that came through for me. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. I expected a long wait as they were trying to fit me into their busy schedule but they saw me incredible quickly. They quickly determined that the tooth in question needed to be removed and referred me to an oral surgeon for the work, and provided prescriptions to get me through until I could get the procedure. Being pregnant, stressed and starving (because the tooth wouldn't let me eat) I broke down in tears. Everyone was incredibly kind and supportive while I had my emotional lapse. After I left the facility one of the amazing receptionists ran out to my car to tell me to call the referred oral surgeons immediately as they can sometimes fit people in for consultations that day. She knew I needed this to be over. I thanked her and took her advice. I got an appointment immediately with the referred oral surgeon for the consultation. Where it was confirmed that the tooth would need to be extracted and that they would be able to do it THAT day. Thanks to this amazing office and staff I was able to go from horrible nerve pain to having the procedure done! I am so grateful to all who assisted me. Especially the woman who came and told me to call the oral surgeon right away. I owe her a huge debt of gratitude!
