We had our engagement photo session and chose a location that did not make it easy on Pablo (there was hiking and a rather large hill involved), but he was fantastic and had a smile the whole time! What I love most about Pablo is that he is willing to provide artistic direction when my fiancé and I don't have the slightest idea what would look best, which was most of the time. We are more than thrilled with the outcome of the engagement shoot and are so excited to have Pablo with us on our big day!

After looking through his photo albums and speaking with him we got his business card and decided to set up an appointment with him. After meeting with him we knew we wanted him be our photographer for our wedding and engagement photo session. For our engagement photo session we choose Grand Park, Walt Disney Hall, and the surrounding areas since that's were I proposed to my wife. We wanted to relive that moment but this time with a professional photographer. We spent the whole afternoon and got some amazing photos. For our wedding day, everything was perfect! We got married at the historic Mission Inn in Riverside and Pablo was able to capture every moment of our special day. Again, he took some amazing photos, magazine cover worthy! The whole experience was fun, Pablo made it easy to work with, he was very creative and also open to our ideas. On top of his excellent work, he is very professional and friendly. We highly recommend him!

The Best Photographer! Looking for a photographer on a…read morebudget can be overwhelming; fortunately we had a photographer on our side and Michael was willing to work with us. Michael is truly incredible!! From our first meeting with him it was a done deal. He has one of those instant calming personalities (brides trust me when I say you need this). The day of the wedding he met me and my ladies first (I'm sure most brides are aware the Wedding day of can get a little crazy). The bridesmaids, maid of honors and I were getting hair and makeup done, while getting dressed and so naturally our room got messy (just stuff everywhere). He was in our room taking pictures, making everyone laugh, reminding me to keep clam that we were doing great on time (I hate being late). He then went and took pictures of my Husband and groomsmen. He even managed to remove the price tag off the watch I bought my husband (I guess I got scatter brained and didn't remove it). When he returned to take pictures of me getting in my dress, he was so talented and helpful he even fixed the bow of my sash (my girls weren't doing a great job, ha-ha). The pictures of us getting ready are fabulous; it truly captures everyone having a great time. My bow was perfect and I have great pictures to prove it. At the ceremony he was everywhere (I only know this after reviewing the pictures). Every special moment of our vows, first kiss, gift to the Virgin Mary, and blessings were all captured exceptionally. He even got our parents, family, and friends' emotions to our vows. Reviewing each photo nearly brought me to tears, breathtaking and speechless are the best words I have to describe his work. I tried to sear each moment in my brain on our big day but the pictures were so well done I am able to relive it all!!! Bridal and bridal party portraits were fun and amazing. We had such great time and great pictures of my husband and me dancing, racing each other, and our glamour shots. I felt so pretty that day but looking at the pictures I look like a model and my husband my prince charming. I have a grin that splits my face from ear to ear in every picture. We have great full length, and close ups of my husband and I. Every detail of my bouquet, dress, and my husband boutonniere are beautifully depicted. At the reception he took pictures of the venue before it started, so we have great shots of the flowers, cake, candy station, and our guest during cocktail hour. Every moment was captured; our first dance, money dance, cake cutting, parents dance, and everyone having fun and dancing. I have a few favs of the reception, one would be of our first dance my husband and I are looking into each other's eyes, and the second would be of me flinging cake on my husband's face. Each picture are seconds captured in time. Looking over all the pictures for the photo album requires as much organization and patience's as planning the wedding! Doing this was as magical as our special day. My husband and I are truly pleased with our wedding day pictures. So pleased we used over 300 pictures in our wedding book (seriously so difficult because we loved them all). My advice to other brides, give your photography a reasonable/realistic budget (this is one of the few things you get to keep after the wedding). Second give Michael a call you will be glad you did. He's an extraordinary artist; every moment will be brilliantly captured.

I highly recommend Bob Ortiz for his artistic talent, creative imagery, and warm, friendly…read morepersonality! My mother is an professional event planner in Scottsdale, AZ. After seeing his incredible photographs from a family friend's wedding, she was quick to hire him to photograph several of her own clients' special events. We do have several talented photographers in AZ, however my mom was so impressed with Bob's photography that she has hired him for events in several different cities. She did this because she believes that he's the absolute best!! When I got engaged, one of the first things we did was contact Bob Oritz once my wedding date was set. Luckily Bob was available that weekend and we booked him immediately! I got married over a holiday weekend and we had events with all of our family and friends that lasted for 4 days. Bob and his wonderful assistant were at all of the events and not only captured the group shots that we asked for, but took a ton of candid shots and truly captured the essence of each of the various events--a Meet n Greet, golf tournament, rehearsal dinner, brunch and of course, the wedding itself!! Prior to my wedding I sent Bob a list of what group shots (extended and immediate family, friends, etc.) that I wanted him to take, as well as several fun, artistic photos that I found on Pinterest that I wanted to recreate. He also conducted site checks prior to the various events to scout out the best spots for photos, check for lighting, etc. Bob carefully reviewed my list and all requests and made sure that all of the images were taken. This was a huge help as he was able to take charge the day of my wedding which allowed me to relax and enjoy this most special day in my life. He also added several additional photo ideas of his own which showcased our personalities, the ambiance of the wedding weekend events, as well as several fun, spontaneous shots that added dimensions that I had not previously considered. We had a large wedding party and big family. Bob's sense of humor kept people laughing and things light-hearted during our lengthy wedding photo shoot. One of the other things I really appreciated is that Bob perfectly succeeded in finding the perfect balance between capturing all of the important moments and milestones of the weekend without being in the way. I've attended so many weddings where the photographer is always front and center, often times taking centerstage and disrupting the wedding ceremony, toasts, etc. Somehow Bob managed to be present and capture all of these moments without making my husband and I and others feel as if he was in our way. He has a unique way of doing his job discreetly without being overbearing. Another thing that impressed me tremendously is that Bob sent us the proofs of the various wedding events within days of the events' occurrence. We spent a part of our honeymoon looking through the photos and reliving our wedding weekend! The only complaint I have is that Bob took so many amazing photographs that it is hard to narrow my favorites down to a select few to create one wedding album. Naturally, its a good problem to have but he truly so many incredible photos that we simply can't decide which photos we like the best! The photos from our first look are among my favorite as they truly capture the raw emotion, excitement and sensitivity of the moment when my husband and father first saw me in my wedding dress. To anyone who is looking to hire a gifted, creative photographer for a special event or family photos, I can recommend Bob Ortiz with the utmost confidence and tell you that you will not be disappointed!
