Little tidbits to make experiences better: come over and say hello when you see someone in your section, maybe offer water or to take a drink order? Ask if an appetizer is the meal, or if it should come before everyone else gets food? Check to see if the chicken wings are still sporting a lot of feathers? I know chickens have feathers, but 15 of them made my 2 wings a little less appealing. The little details matter. The food was good, plentiful and hot. We had great service once the entire family arrived.

The menu is vast, offering typical sports bar items with a southwestern twist. I ordered to Taco salad while the kids got chicken tenders and we got onion rings for the table. The portions are generous, that's for sure! The rings were good, though heavily battered. The taco salad was descent, but I'd say it was less salad and more just taco without the tortillas. The flavor was fine. Our server was really nice though, constantly checking in on us to see if everything was good. The game area had a variety of games for the kids, but most of them were out of order, much to the kids dismay.

Awesome roasted green chili flavor. We ordered the green chili and pepperoni pizza: not recommended. The crust was not crispy, which caused the toppings to flop off the crust. No silverware, so at least the crust was pliable enough to use as a tortilla. Green chilis had good flavor. Zero flavor on the pepperoni and the crust. Way too much sauce, but that did taste good.

Thursday, June 18 & Sunday, June 20, 2026…read more We were in Las Cruces for a convention and found Pecan Grill and Brewery on Thursday night. The experience was so good, we went back again on Sunday--our last night in town. That says everything. On Thursday, we had the salmon--exceptional, perfectly prepared, flavorful, and beautifully plated. On Sunday, we tried their steak and shrimp, which was equally outstanding. Both nights, the food was superb. But here's what really impressed me: I tried the beer tasting flight for the first time, and I actually liked every single beer. That's never happened to me before. Whoever curates their selection knows what they're doing. Our server, Gabe, was excellent -- attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. He made both visits feel special. Pecan Grill and Brewery delivers on every level: outstanding food, exceptional beer selection, and hospitality that makes you want to come back. If you're in Las Cruces, this place is a must-visit. We'll definitely return.

My most recent visit had our party waiting long enough to meet our server I was able to reminisce about my family's previous visit. That visit had a few of us believing we were being filmed for a prank TV show. It was more than 40 minutes before we had water brought to our table. If two of our family didn't have mobility issues, we would have left. Then and now, we were asked if we wanted desert, after banging our heads on the table for two hours, that's not even an option with the wait.

Zac, the service manager was able to take care of it and get my order out to me, which I was thankful for. I made the mistake of not checking the order until I got home. Unfortunately the wings seemed to be more like a dry rub with a dash of sauce and I ordered all wings with sauce. I called BWW, Zac told me to bring in the old wings and they will make me "fresh ones". While waiting for the correct order, the you g ladies in the front of whom I assume are the hostesses were apologetic and kind. When I got the second order or what should've been the correct order were not fresh. Not even a 3 min drive home and the wings were barely even warm. A very unfortunate experience here and will not return anytime soon. Not much has changed at BWWs

I was waiting in line for over 20 minutes and then told to park as it would be " three more minutes ". 30 minutes later it was brought out to me cold. I ordered the fish and chips. It took a very, very long time to come out. But when it did, I had to ask the server for silverware. She had all the time in the world to put that down. But both the French fries and the fish were dripping in grease. See the picture! You need a good hot fryer with clean oil to make fish and chips right. To the plus side they tried to compensate me, but that didn't matter with me. I had expectations of a good meal and was taken off guard on how bad both the service and meal were. I really hate to post this but again the fact that in the past they were really good and now they are this bad. Oh well, there are still other microbreweries/pubs in town.
