The food is ok. The problem is with the waitresses and cleaning. You also might want to bring a fly swatter with you. It may have to do with the dumpsters being right outside and employees going out to grab a quick smoke. read more

Chicken fried steak dinner was the BOMB! Came in to share with my hubby, kinda of wish we would of ordered each one. It was so delicious. We had green beans, mashed potatoes and instead of a healthy salad, we swapped it for macaroni and cheese. It was all very good. Probably should had gotten the Texas toast instead of the hot roll . We have only been here fir breakfast , I don't know why we haven't been here for dinner. Kent had a chocolate peanut butter pie that was exactly how he likes it! A wonderful diner, and remember this is a diner, not Ruths' Chris Steak House. My family went there Thanksgiving evening and had a very nice turkey dinner. A ton of food that was as good as any other turkey meal I've had. We did get a little entertainment when a big fat Karen-type lady complained that they didn't melt her cheese enough. Come on, this is a little diner. I wish I remembered our waitresses name but she along with the other wait staff were great. Solid diner food! read more

Walked in 1230 on Sunday. Food didn't arrive until 117pm. Wait was terrible. The cleanliness is terrible a 0 Food was a 4.5 Service was a 3.5 however Cathleen was very nice. Bathrooms are terrible. Dirty and unkept. Grout which should be Beige was Black and disgusting. Seats were torn and unkept Floors were terrible. Needs a deep deep clean Mold on a ceiling tile read more

"Lick your plate good" oooohhh my! First time here and it will not be our last. Great food and super nice staff. I had the Cinnamon French toast and just so you know it is made with cinnamon swirl bread and served with the edges perfectly crunchy. You will not leave hungry the portions are large and in charge. My wife and I hadn't been to Lucy's in several years - before my parents passed away. They loved eating at Lucy's because of the old diner feel. We recently ate there on a Sunday at lunch time. We walked in and found a small table to the back of the diner. We were greeted by a young lady who brought menus to us and asked for a drink order. We wanted to wait on drinks since we weren't sure of having lunch or breakfast. After finally deciding, my wife had the Sunday turkey special which she liked but couldn't finish the meal there was so much. I chose the chicken tenders with fried okra and green beans. The beans were cooked with ham and had a good flavor and not overly cooked. The okra was the bomb - reminded me of the okra my mom and mother in law used to fix years ago. Not your usual fried okra at most places. The chicken tenders were good but not as meaty as I would like. Lots of batter on the outside. A good place to eat and good memories as well read more

Food left over after I ate! Talk about a spread of food! Good prices and friendly service. Computer decided to update during the noon rush hour, so the place was packed with no way to check out. Yet, it didn't take very long to get things moving and our food didn't really seem delayed. The pinto beans had a tang to them, I really didn't like, but edible! Corn bread not fresh, but edible. Came here after a Dave Matthews Band show at the AMP. It's open 24 hours, which was perfect. The Ultimate Breakfast was awesome. There were multiple hot sauces to choose from for the eggs & hashbrowns & the sausage links were some of the best we've had. Grits were slightly runny but great butter flavor. Just visited this cute 1950's style diner last weekend. My kids got breakfast food. One got pancakes and the others got French toast. It was sooo good. I got open faced sliced beef on top of bread with brown gravy and a side of mashed potatoes and onion rings. My husband got a huge burger with a massive amount of hand cut fries. I really like this place but, take a jacket, its always freezing inside. Its a great place anytime for breakfast or lunch menu. Its a go to for me. The servers are always fun and friendly and always a top 3 of choices. It reminds me of where flo would like to be and all the great food served up. Its my kind of place. Well the reviews of this place are all over the page, but my experience was a solid 4 stars. We went in about 930 on a Saturday morning for breakfast. We were able just be seated immediately, although the place was pretty busy, and all the staff were super prompt and friendly. The menu has all the normal breakfast items well represented, and a great selection of omelettes. I noticed that some combos would include grits and hashbrowns, not one or the other and they would also do the hashbrowns with all the toppings like Waffle House. They have a ridiculous menu of soda fountain drinks for us non-coffee drinkers. I'm also not a big breakfast person, so I grabbed a soda, a couple of eggs over easy, sausage, and a biscuit with gravy. Eggs were perfectly done, biscuit was good, sausage was okay, and gravy was meh, by which I mean it's like gravy at every other breakfast establishment. Everybody uses the mix, and nothing with real meat. Pretty flavorless. My hubby had the same eggs, hash browns, bacon, and two incredible pancakes. I don't really even like pancakes, and these were super fluffy, but with a nice almost toasty outside. I helped myself to several bites & we still couldn't finish them all. The fact that we were surrounded by super nice people, wanted for nothing the whole time, and I'm actually thinking about eating pancakes there again means I got to go four stars. Maybe I'll venture in one day for chicken and dumplings and let you know how those are. read more

In town for Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Stumbled into this hole in a wall place as they were open for turkey dinner. Nothing fancy about the building or interior decor but the turkey dinner was outstanding. Some of the most tender turkey I've ever had. So much food we both took 1/2 to go. read more

After seeing pictures of the food I really wanted to try this place. We walk in and are greeted by the cook ( they weren't busy) and all the waitresses. We were brought menus ( that are completely falling apart). Looking around ( especially at the ceiling) I was thinking we made a huge mistake, but went ahead and ordered. They were out of chicken tenders ( my sons order) the cook came out and let us know, said he could give him fried " chicken chunks ". Food was brought out in a timely manner. It was steaming hot. I didn't care for my meatloaf, it has a lot of green bell pepper in it. I did not like the Mac and cheese at all, and the mashed potatoes seemed like they were instant. My husband ordered the open face roast beef, he enjoyed it. And my son ( super picky eater) gave the chicken an 8/10. His kids meal came with a ton of fries. If you go on Monday or Thursday you get free pie, the chocolate pie is delicious! I'm not sure we'll come back ( only for the pie). read more

Went on a nice, quiet breakfast date with my husband. We both had the special (eggs, grits, choice of meat, hashbrowns, and toast or biscuit). We asked for the eggs to be cooked over easy. They came out perfect. Also, Ashton was our server and she was very attentive! We ordered a cinnamon roll (appetizer, ha) and she asked if we wanted butter melted on top. Yes, please! We appreciated the suggestions/recommendations and her kind demeanor. It started raining when we left and she offered for us to borrow her umbrella. Great experience! Will be back. Oh, and this is your typical diner food. It's good and the hashbrowns are awesome (also, the serving is very generous), but do not expect 'fancy.' read more

So we were looking for some home cooking type food. We dropped into Lucy's they are open 24 hours a day. The portions of everything we ordered was huge. You could probably share a plate for 2 adults because I took more than half the meal I ordered home. They made a peanut butter pie for us because they did not have any. Nice little diner read more

Lucy's is the closest thing to home cooking I have been able to find nearby. I typically go there at night. Each time I have been there, it was the same waitress and there have never been more than 6 people there at once. The server, who appears to be in her forties, will dictate where to sit. Not because of Covid-19, but because she is anxious to leave when her shift is over. The first time, they were out of "anything" pork. Tonight, no pie. NONE! A couple of days ago we stopped around lunchtime, but their "system was down" so they closed the place up? I had always wondered what we would do if something of this nature occurred. The younger generations are mostly unable to count back change. Counting change is one thing but it is not as important as not making any money to count back! A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush where I come from. Take orders, serve the orders, take the money and then input the info later. What happened to good old fashioned service? read more

We usually see this diner driving into town. I am happy we decided to try it out vs the chain breakfast joints. The food was delicious and my ham steak left everyone jealous of my selection. To this day my kids still talk about the breakfast. The staff was very nice especially with having a big party. The diner is a bit small and a little confusing as to what to do when you enter. Pretty much come in and wait for a waitress or waiter to seat your group. Overall delicious food at a good price. read more

We were tired of Denny's, IHOP, Neals Cafe and Evolutions in NWA. We happened to come across Lucy's Diner by accident. GREAT service, ample portions, and good tasting food. They are willing to accomodate special requests. They don't question the customer's choice or combination of foods. LOVE it. Special thanks to Eric, CJ, Those who feel otherwise are mistaken and should get a grip on reality. We were tired of Denny's, IHOP, Neal's Café, and Evolutions in NWA. We happened on Lucy's Diner by accident. GREAT place. We loved it. The staff welcomes you and let's you order anything at any time of day. They accommodate unusual food combinations and requests. We now eat there A LOT. LOVE it. Special thanks to Eric, Ashton, and CJ for their excellent service. Anybody who thinks otherwise is grossly mistaken. read more

Due to an incredibly inappropriate incident, I will never set foot in this place again. I had just ordered some fries and was sitting with a friend when our waitress walked over to our table informing me that the greasy 40+ year old manager at the bar would like my number. I informed her that I was a MINOR and he could stick it where the sun don't shine. It was hugely unprofessional, uncomfortable, and frankly disgusting. And the fries were burnt. read more

Great atmosphere and awesome home style cooking at it's finest.. Bring one, bring all. Booths for 2-4 people and tables that can be arranged for more.. Like the bar style seating? They can accommodate you as well? Prices that will make the competition cringe.. Check them out. You will be glad you did.. 5 stars +, is my rating!!! read more

I was finally convinced to go back for dinner, I was pleasantly surprised, the chopped beef wrapped in bacon was awesome and the fried okra was to die for, they should make a special for all you can eat fried okra......id be the first in line. I'll be back for dinner. Quite a change...great job! read more

It's awesome that they're open 24 hours. However if you go late the service is not great. The food is okay. It's better if you just got done at the bar (lol) We used to go quite a bit... then like 3x in a row I had food that tasted "off" and I figured 3x is a charm. read more
