Absolute rip off. We got two appetizers the fried pickles and the fried jalapeños. The fried jalapeños were completely cold in the middle. Onion rings we got were burnt, bacon was cold, sausage patties were burnt. 3 of us got chicken fried steak and our waiter told us "the cook got confused on how many steaks there were" so I didn't get my steak until everybody else was done eating. No compensation. Waiter never came back so we had to go get her for our check and she tried to charge us for the jalapeños that we literally sent back and didn't eat. She completely scammed us by putting "no side" and then manually adding another side. When I mentioned it she went to the manager and said the manager couldn't fit it so the waiter said she "Paid for it with her cash". Makes NO sense. We ALL got sick after, I have genuinely never been to a worse establishment in my life. read more

The worst experience I have ever had at a food establishment. The feel of the diner is fine. Just watch for moldy bread to employees making fun of customers because they are worried about food safety. As someone who is a Certified Food Manager I am appalled by this place. To start the server was smoking and came in and started serving without washing their hands. Then on a friends plate they refused to do substitutions for allergies and instead said the best they could do is not put it on their plate. They still charged for the item that they removed. None of what was previously stated even led to this review. The worst part is that there was MOLD ON THE FOOD!!! Once this was brought up the only thing they said was "we can bring you another piece". They would not consider comping even a portion of that plate. Mind you no one asked for a refund or comp at this point other than for the single item that was moldy. Overall this ended with an employee asking why my friend ate the food if it was moldy. We explained that it wasn't found until after they had ate that portion of the plate and they didn't eat any after seeing it. They proceeded to mock us after. Overall just hope that this place gets things together and a safety inspection asap. I love breakfast food, and this place did not disappoint! If you're looking for top-tier service, it's not the best, but if you want big portions, this is the place. I got the breakfast special--hashbrowns, sausage links, and scrambled eggs were fire. Didn't care for the grits, gravy, or biscuit, but the pancake was huge and really good. I also tried the chicken chunk basket (8/10)--massive portion, perfectly battered chicken that wasn't too bready, and classic homestyle fries. It even came with two slices of bread, and I split it into two meals for about $14 before tax. Convinced my coworker to try it too--she got the tender basket and agreed it was worth it! read more

Let's start with the server, she came to take our order and yawned three times while there and never excused herself from the table. The food was over priced from what you received based on taste and quality. My son loves hash browns,first time he didn't eat them all, my stack pancakes were nothing special and had hash browns on the bottom. Server suggested getting pancake with a side saying it would be cheaper than the menu meal and when the check comes it's on a handle held where you have to ask to see the charges; then she says, "oh it's not, "as if she was surprised. The restaurant is tight with minimal walking access between tables. Felt like I was putting my butt on people's food as you have turn sides was to walk through and I'm not a big guy. Fast service and friendly wait staff! The breakfast was awesome with both eggs cooked perfect, hash browns smothered in cooked onion, thick piece of quality ham steak, biscuit and gravy! We first went to Lucy's Christmas Eve 2024 shortly after they reopened post-tornado. While we expected some service delays due to it being Christmas Eve and had just reopened, the staff was surly and the service was very poor. This Christmas Eve (2025), we decided to try again and give them another chance... if possible, the service was worse and staff was downright rude. The restaurant was dirty with garbage on the floor. We were told it would be an hour wait which we said was okay; there were several empty tables so we were seated right away. We managed to get drinks and, over an hour later, not a single word from staff, ultimately it took over an hour and a half to receive breakfast food that probably took only a couple minutes to prepare. The restaurant wasn't busy for the last hour of waiting. Although the food was decent, it wasn't worth the wait or the bad experience. Finally, the bill she showed us on her tablet seemed too high for what we ordered but we paid it anyway; they couldn't provide a receipt since they don't have a printer. We paid with cash and the waitress said she didn't have change (it was less than a dollar) and walked off. We did leave a small tip as it was Christmas. We will not be back and, unless things change, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't last long. read more

What a cute diner! We went to Lucy's for Breakfast. The space is small but has a great vibe. There were 5 adults, a baby and a toddler in our party and they were able to accommodate us right away. The server was very friendly and did a great job taking care of our high energy family. The food came up fast, which was awesome. Between delicious Pancakes, French toast, scrambles eggs, bacon and sausage there was a lot of passing food around so we could all try different things. Not the cleanest and a little run down, the staff were mildly friendly, the food was fast but not much flavor. They were out of a lot of things, including soda, so it was difficult to order. Is a little strange that a dinner doesn't have burgers, so that was also a disappointment. The waitresses came and went and weren't very friable or genuine, felt like I was being taken care of by an employee at McDonald's. The table was "clean" but had crumbs and the seats weren't wiped off. Everything looked a little too worn, like a fast food restaurant. Not somewhere you want to sit and enjoy a meal. Our first time here for lunch, it is your basic diner with a lot of locals eating here. They have a jukebox on the wall and they servers fit the diner experience perfect. I had the cheeseburger with fries and my wife had an assortment of veggies and fries. The fries were by far the best part of lunch. These are some of the best I have had. My wife enjoyed all the veggies as well. The burger was not something I will order again. The patty itself was one of the smallest I have had. They made up for it with lots of mustard, onion and tomatoes. It was quite a mess. I then had the chocolate pie that was pretty disappointing. It was made from a prepared mix I believe. I came here with my boyfriend randomly one day. We had just come back from walking around Lake Atalanta. I've lived in Rogers for a long time and have already passed this place. It was always an "oh yeah, I need to try that place" type of restaurant to me. When he and I went, it made me so sad that I didn't try this place earlier. When you walk in, you feel like you've time-traveled to a 1950's diner. They even have a jukebox in the corner that you can play music on! The workers were all so nice. The kitchen was backed up when we went, but they did a great job of keeping us updated on when our order was coming out. They have a HUGEEEEE menu. You can pick from breakfast or lunch. My boyfriend and I both got biscuits and gravy and they were DIVINE! But they were also super filling. He got hashbrowns and eggs with his dish and he loved them. I also got chocolate chip silver dollar pancakes and I loved them. The best part? THEY'RE OPEN 24/7!!! Now that I know how great this place is, I will be coming here for my 2 am waffle craving. read more

this place won't give you a receipt but the last time I was in there they printed out a receipt but today they couldn't print out a receipt I asked for sausage gravy they just gave me regular gravy on my hash browns and they want to charge me $99 cents then the waitress said she wasn't going to charge me but the other waitress told her she was then they charge me another surcharge for using the credit card I said somebody should have said something but if you look at the fine print and you have a magnifying glass and you can read it then you probably see that the very bottom of the menu but I'll never come back in until the owner apologizes to me you can at least 99 cents and gain 99 cents a day but you'll lose thousands over the next years because I bring my family in and everybody in here every time I come down here Dan McArdle read more

It was a good experience and has all the diner charm - worn-in chairs, patrons that are very native to the area, and a menu that looks very homely. The sitting was very straightforward - sit wherever. Though it was busy we were attended to in less than 5 minutes. The waitress was very friendly and immediately took our orders. She was really helpful with menu selections. Anesthetics- again, it was a diner so they aren't remodeling to match the current trends. Though I could have done without the two flies that were hovering around where we were seated. The booth seat was quite tattered, and while I understand I was in a diner.. hmm it could have used some refreshing. ...with all that though, we purchased three different meals (2 dining) and then ordered another item on the menu to-go and it all came to $35! That's definitely a steal! And it was considerably sized meals, which is why I can't give it a 3. The decor is probably more preferential, so that would be unfair to judge based on that criterion. Chicken fried steak dinner was the BOMB! Came in to share with my hubby, kinda of wish we would of ordered each one. It was so delicious. We had green beans, mashed potatoes and instead of a healthy salad, we swapped it for macaroni and cheese. It was all very good. Probably should had gotten the Texas toast instead of the hot roll .
