What I liked best about this wonderful restaurant was that it was the Stone Mill Cafe. Not Meek Mill. Not Millie Bobby Brown. Not Milly Adcock. Not Ted DiBiase " the Million Dollar Man". This is our last time eating here! My wife and I come here for lunch pretty regularly. It was easily once per week to every other week. We just found out that the "owner" , as blamed by employees, has decided it's an a la carte menu now and only includes the sandwich and not the chips and cookie anymore. Now, their cookie was total dry trash and never worth eating but that's beside the point. Today, for a total of $42, we got 2 sandwiches, 2 drinks and 1 bag of chips. Really Their foods not that good and the "owner" can suck it. We're not coming here anymore and for the price, I encourage the rest of you to find another mediocre restaurant for lunch. read more

Very rude to customers. I have thought this several times but yesterday I decided never going back. They have a bible verse on their counter since covid and asking folks to be nice to their staff. Service here is always top notch and I've tried multiple times to put a tip into the register and they skip it. When I protest they always tell me not to worry about it with a smile. They still provide the best service! The food is always amazing too. If you're looking for an amazing chicken and dumpling this is the place. I make it a point to visit in the days they offer them and always get the half sandwich and soup (ALWAYS dumplings) and the. Take home some (if they have any left to sell!). Food is good and bread is fresh but the service is so slow in the mornings. If you're trying to order takeout, I recommend calling ahead for 15-20 mins later. A simple breakfast burrito took me 20 mins to get, and I was literally the only customer in the store. I saw another guy come in to place his order, then drive off in his car, and come back 15 mins later to pick up so clearly he knew the drill. read more

I have been in love with Stone Mill bread since the early 2000s. You can basically put anything between their bread and it is yum. The country white, spinach feta or tomato basil are my favorite. My kids eat the pumpkin bread( it weighs at least 10#s) as soon as we get it. And the oatmeal chocolate chip cookies- no good- leave all those for me. They are delicious! read more

My husband got the chicken salad sandwich and the kids got BALT's and pb&j, and a grilled cheese. Based on their plates the BALT's were a winner. Nice little lunch spot if you're passing through. Today I called off and on for 30mins to place an order. I never got through so I called while driving over to place an order. No one ever answered and the phone was ringing when I arrived. When I placed my order at the counter, I asked if they were answering the phone today and they said no, it was too busy. I asked to speak to a manger and she repeated the same. I asked in these instances do you offer an apology and I finally received one. It's unacceptable to not answer the phone at a restaurant and to simply state to customers it's too busy to address their needs. This used to be a place I would frequent for lunch but today will unfortunately be the last. Good customer service and an apology go a long way. read more

Ive been to this cafe several time and I've never been disappointed with the quality of food. I do find it a bit pricey but not above the top limit just close. I was just there today and inquired about hot coffee and was told they would brew me a fresh pot. Another lady then said that they were not brewing fresh coffee in the afternoon however thanks to Drina K she insisted that they would certainly brew me a fresh pot. I'm from a place where if you have cafe and coffee shop then coffee is always available. I understand that hot coffee isn't always popular here but with the invention of single coffee pods it certainly shouldn't be unavailable. I did get my coffee but it felt like the owners were just trying to save because they only served the coffee in large brewing pots. Therefore I really can't say that it rates any higher than a 3 star. read more

One of my favorite places in Bentonville! The food is simple, delicious, made locally, and inexpensive. My favorite meal is easily the Heartwarmer, which consists of a grilled cheese sandwich (I have no idea what they put in it but it is AMAZING) and a cup of tomato soup (which is also delicious). Also a big fan of the West Coast Special sandwich, the BALT (bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato), and their Chicken and Dumplings! Their meals come with chips and a cookie, or you can order a half and half (similar to Panera). For desserts they have brownies and scones (chocolate chip and raspberry/white chocolate are my faves), and they just added gelato! Ahh! Stone Mill also bakes their own bread and it is available for purchase. Their cranberry pecan is WHERE IT'S AT. All in all, huge fan! So glad they're here! read more

I got a sausage skillet. I asked for over-medium eggs and I got over hard eggs. The skillet was supposed to have cheese on it and only had a little sprinkled on the eggs, none in the potatoes, which were undercooked and bland. Very little sausage in skillet. Toast with soggy and cold. I got cinnamon rolls and they were cold and hard. Coffee was bland and lukewarm. One of the worst meals I've had in years. Response to managers comments below: I'm surprised at the defensive tone of your reply. When I put my order in on the app, it gave me the option for 8:00 AM which I chose, but when I submitted it, I got a reply that stated my food be ready at 8:30 am. I assume that's an automated response and it's due to the fact that you guys don't open till 8 am, so you wouldn't be able to have food ready at 8:00 AM? The application also asked for my phone number, which I gave, so a phone call or a text message stating the food was ready would have been helpful. I showed up at 8:31, not 8:35 am for an 8:30 am order. I have no doubt that you have competent staff, but I believe it is the processes, procedures, and leadership that are suspect. Normally I would take this up the chain of command to the corporate office, but this experience, and specifically your reply, has shown me that Stone Mill Café is not worth the effort. read more
