a counter with a variety of food items

Great location on the Square and has late hours so you can get a great after dark. They have coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Pie, cookies, scones, and brownies. Also a grocery section that sells baking mixes, gluten free snacks, and other gift packages. All in all, a good concept. The only challenge is staffing--they were busy the night we stopped in and had to wait 15 mins to get anyone behind the counter to take our order.

Cinnamon rolls. The best in town for sure! Big enough for two and great with a coffee.

Chocolate cake was amazing but the cafe latte was too strong/bitter and the chai tea latte was way to forward with the chai.

She is very hospitable and involved with her customers. Love that! Interaction and communication is key when running your own business. She nails it! Secondly, the inside is quite small yet there is seating in every corner and space available. From tables, to sofas, to cozy chairs, there is a quiet spot to enjoy your treats! There's even a water and food station for your fur babies! Now on to the main event...the pie! Wow! Just wow! From pie to cake to scones to tarts, I've tried them all! The raspberry cream is to die for! So sweet, creamy and they use real raspberries! I was in heaven at first bite! The lemon meringue pie is a close second with its bright freshness! Not overly lemony...Just right! The chocolate cake is super fudgey and rich! Pair it with a cold cup of milk and you've reached Heaven. The banana chocolate chip scone was good...but in my opinion much too sweet. Leave off the brown sugar/cinnamon glaze and it would be much better. The fruit tart was so flavorful and the fruit was fresh and just the right sweetness. If you like coconut cream pie, you've come to the right place! Creamy and the perfect consistency. The chocolate diner pie is rich and decadent with its lightly whipped topping and chocolate curls. Lastly the Southern Buttermilk pie was a first for me. I didnt know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. It was almost a custard like consistency but with a sour note...more lemony than I was expecting but good nonetheless. Next time I hope to try the more savory pies and quiches. Everyday there is a variety to choose from and their daily menu is always posted on their Facebook page. Oh! And the prices are fantastic considering you get a good size slice of pie! Big enough to share...if you're willing! I highly recommend this cute little bakery...in fact I insist on it!

Husband always gets the chicken pot pie and it is so delish. The amount of sweets available will hit everyone's taste if you aren't looking for savory. They make a good mocha also! They greet you with a smile and the owner is always out and about to make sure your experience is epic. We have been in this area for about 10 years and this is our favorite spot! When you walk in, you are greeted also by everything baking and kitchen. There is a shelf of pie birds and a sign to educate you on the importance and history. The decor is so cute and homey just like the pies! Love this place!

This past weekend I finally got a chance to try Olly Makes Bakery. I specifically planned my visit…read morefrom Las Vegas to Bentonville, Arkansas to visit this gluten-free bakery when they're opened. They're closed Sunday-Tuesday. They're located in a cute Victorian house that has been converted to a bakery, with a few rooms converted to a place to sit and consume your purchases. While there weren't as many options as I had hoped as only 7 baked items were available, I did enjoy the gluten-free & pork-free chicken, chicken-bacon and chive scone for $6.25 and a double-chocolate cookie for $2.50. The other options were: - $7 blueberry muffin - $6 orange poppy seed bread (about the size of a deck of cards.) - $5 sausage roll (about the size of a Twinkie.) - $4.99 vanilla funfetti vegan cupcake - $7 cherry seed bar (about the size of a deck of cards.) I brought 3 other people with me and while my food tasted good, there just wasn't enough variety and the people I brought with me declined to order. Also, to prevent confusion, this bakery needs to separate out the taxes on their receipts as separate line items. Currently, it looks as if they're charging a 10.5% sales tax when the tax rate is 9.5%. I have been informed that there is some additional tax to make up the additional 1%. It's unclear if this is true but having separate line items on the receipt would fix this issue. Nobody wants to be overcharged. Visited: April 2024

I watched my friend choose some truffles for later and a pastry for now and a chocolate coffee, so I enjoyed a "Happy Goat Ice Cream" that was really amazing. Friendly service and a neat little shop. The shop itself is adorable, and I'm so glad we stumbled upon it while out for dinner. I don't know that I would have found this on my own if we weren't already here for dinner. It is so cool to see how they make everything from the cacao bean to the finished product. I love that they have such a variety of options - chocolate bars, truffles, caramels, drink mixes, AND THEN - they have freshly baked goods and a little bar where they serve drinking chocolate (hot, cold, frozen) as well as alcoholic beverages. So many options! I purchased 3 bars and I wish I had gotten a few more. The Southern Pecan, No. 1 Fan, and Harvest Party were all phenomenal. I will be buying each of these again and I would recommend them (so long as you do not have a nut allergy). The chocolate is pricier than your average chocolate bar, but the experience and quality of chocolate is so much better, and definitely worth it. I don't have any plans to return to Bentonville, so I am grateful that they have a shop online. These will be great stocking stuffers for the upcoming holidays... The lady helping us was so helpful and polite. We really had a 10/10 experience. If you like good quality chocolate then Markham & Fitz is worth the stop if you're in Bentonville.
