The tamales tasted like baking soda or something crazy. Worst tamales I've ever had. We use to eat tamales out the the trunk of a guys car on the job site and they blew Gaby's away. Gabys donated a delicious chocolate cake to a local animal rescues charity and it was such a hit!! I ended up going home with it and it was one of the most moist and chocolaty cakes I have ever had, topped with strawberries and Oreos!! I went in to pick this up at 9pm and this place was POPPIN!! There was a line 10 people long!! Not to fret tho, I was acknowledged quickly and within just a few minutes they were able to help me! They were so friendly and sweet! The bakery itself was decorated to the Ts for Christmas and they had cases and cases of delicious sweets and breads, the whole place felt warm and welcoming! I highly recommend checking them out not just for the delicious foods but because they support their local community!! read more

We have shopped there quite a few times. Today I stopped in for a couple of cake slices which I brought to the counter The cashier was friendly, I inserted my card, and it completed the sale. She then turned the screen around on another part of the register and said she needed me to sign. I was in a hurry, I thought it was a bit odd. When I looked at my receipt, she had given herself a tip. There was no need for me to sign because it was complete beforehand. I'm very disappointed this feels like stealing. There was no service involved. She literally bagged my purchase. Which any cashier would do? I assume her hourly wage should take care of putting two pieces of cake in a plastic bag. If I could give this place a thousand out of ten I would! I've been going to Gabys for years now. The vast variety is absolutely incredible! Most of the time I like to go in there and just grab a random selection they always have new creative fresh baked goods! I had purchased a large selection for my baby shower only but a small box was left over most people at the Baby Shower had never tried desserts like this Even the pickiest ones were impressed! Love, love, love all the options. Everything is so pretty from breads to cookies to cakes and pastries! We were there to try out multiple pastries and all were very delicious. After placing about 7-10 on a tray, we took it to the register where it was packaged for home. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. The shop is quaint and simply decorated, with fun music playing. We came back a second time in during our 2-day stay in Rogers. This place is that good! read more

Our typical place for tamales is now closed so we searched for recommendations and came across Gaby's. Ordering over the phone was fast and easy. We ordered two days in advance. They were packaged and ready when we arrived at the time we stated. The bakery is huge and very open. I am familiar with Mexican bakeries and Gaby's offers everything. They are truly a one-stop bakery. I felt like everything was categorized well so you could go in and just get one item quickly but I don't think you will be able to stop with just one item. They have beautifully decorated cakes as well and take preorders. Everyone was kind and fast. You also can't beat their hours. The tamales are the perfect ratio of meat and masa. The masa was clean but had flavor. The chicken was seasoned well and generous thick shreds. We will be back. At the time of writing this the tamales are $2 each. read more

What a cool place. Got to give it a try if you've never been! It's so ridiculously low priced yet the baked goods are no disappointment. Not too sweet! So much variety. This is the 3rd time we have bought a birthday cake from Gabbys. Every time we order a cake we are so incredibly blown away at the quality. This last birthday we ordered a cake a little larger for the birthday party and it was almost completely gone! Just visited this bakery and can't wait to go back. They have an overwhelming variety of so many baked goods. They are so reasonably priced. They run about less than a dollar for each pastry. They are huge too !! They have everything from cakes to donuts, to cookies, to rolls and bread. Everything is easy to get and clean. We were wanting some baked goods this evening so we consulted our trusty Yelp app and found this awesome local bakery just a few miles away. We walked in and were immediately greeted with the smell of fresh baked goods. And what an amazing assortment they had. I would guess over 100 choices!! It was incredible. Everything from cakes to cookies to breads to donuts and various other Latin American delicacies. We grabbed a tray and found 5-6 choices that looked good and made our way to the counter. We were greeted promptly by a friendly mask wearing worker who welcomed us kindly and told us how good the things we had purchased were and about the fresh tamales they have for breakfast every morning and encouraged us to come back. Then she told us the total. It was under $10!! Amazing value for the amount and qualities of pastries we bought (see pictures). They were all delicious, especially the pecan tart and the chocolate "ding dong" cake. We will be back and hope you will also give this great local bakery a chance. They are open 6am - 10pm so you have no excuse not to find them. :) read more

I've never rated anyone a 5! This place incredible. We got a bag of baked goods; lemon filled desserts (huge) some cherry filled strudel thing, some cinnamon churro, a little pie (that had a great coconut flavor) a couple of turnovers and some bread. For less than $7! And its all awesome! Best bakery ever. read more

I really hate to do this because we were so excited to try Gaby's tamales after hearing great things. We bought 3 dozen and were so incredibly disappointed. There was a minuscule amount of meat/filling in each - the proportions were completely off and it's 98% corn. The tiny amount of flavor was good but way too much corn to meat ratio. read more

I love the selection or baked goods at Gaby's and they're open 4am-10pm everyday so you can satisfy your sweet tooth pretty much whenever it hits. The ladies that work there have always been friendly. I love bringing a large batch of Gaby's treats to my family events. Everybody has a favorite and gets to try something new and unique.
