Buffalo chicken was done superbly. There was a takeout after this.

The four of us plan to meet here as I've mainly only been to the Gaylord location. I do find the two restaurants have many differences. The lucky in Gaillard just seems more refined for like special events. But this was a very special event for my family to meet, enjoy our conversation and dinner and not be rushed by anyone. We arrived about 1 PM and there were many available seatings. It did take about 10 minutes to be addressed at the front reception. But after we were seated, we indulged with whatever we wanted on the menu. We had two or three drinks each. We didn't take advantage of a lunch menu special. The waitress name was HALIE and she was more cordial perhaps than we deserved. We were having a great time and she helped make our connection much more special. You will see what we enjoyed in the pictures added.. the bill came to about 149 until three more drinks were tallied up. We obviously weren't done yet. We had a wonderful time here.

Came in around 1:30pm sat at the bar. Ordered the appetizer combo, and cheesy potato soup. And I'm not sure what it was. But I got super sick after eating.

Where do I start? I have been to many Lucky's restaurants, mostly ok, never fantastic, this was by far the worst. FYI if you go for happy hour you have to sit in the bar area, thought I would share that as I didn't know and didn't see it advertised. Ordered French onion soup, they must of ran out and didn't preplan because the soup was not done, lacking flavor and the onions were not cooked, actually still hard and some were almost crunchy. I went with the Prime French dip, what a disappointment. Served on a fresh baked roll??? It was served on the same bread they give you with every meal. The meat was dry and had gristle all over. The Au jus was something special also, see pic. Best thing about this meal was the waitress and the ice cold water.

Our first visit to Lucky's. Great service, great HH prices, and great food. Nice buzz. We'll be back.

Nothing at this restaurant is fresh. They have no business selling seafood either. save your money and time.

Steaks are a little tough and chewy. I recommend fish. Waitress was very attentive. Prices on the low side.

Pay more attention to cleanliness and accuracy of all orders. Staff need to be attentive to patrons as well.

It was warm, delicious, very tasty , a bit spicy and served on a really good soft bun with crispy edges. Perfectly cooked the sandwiches are served with orange slices , which is a nice break from chips or fries ! They have numerous coffe and matcha drinks hotv& cold. I tried the cold match blackberry lemonade and it was good and my hubby had the matcha raspberry latte and he really liked his. You know it's a great place when you unexpectedly run into the bride eating there the morning after her wedding!!! The only thing keeping me from giving this restaurant 5 stars ( because the food quality IS there !) is the bathroom situation. There's a very tiny sing men's and women's with a sink to wash hands inbetween. I didn't mind the " closet bathroom stall - I minded the dirty floor and the fact that when I went to wash my hands in the shared sink outside the stall in between the bathrooms , barely any soap dispenses! I went under 4 x just to get enough soap to get the buffalo sauce off of my hands. This is concerning because it makes you wonder if the cooks are bothering to try to get any soap on their hands ?! . Roast and Toast : *Clean the bathroom floors and get a new soap dispenser and I bet you'll get the stars and reviews your food deserves !

They had a feature sandwich which blue cheese and bacon that I split with my husband we equally enjoyed every bite. I had their special Cherry Coffee Latte...yummo! They are busy as they make from scratch. The avocado toast was good and light but the Denver Breakfast wrap was perfect and hearty! My sis bought me the coffee container mug which is perfect for keeping coffee nice and hot for a couple of hours! Nice long space. The bathroom space is tight though.

I heard about Crooked Tree Breadworks on a recent trip to Petoskey and dropped by on my last day in…read morethe area. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to visit until near the end of the day and at that point they had sold out of most of their items, including the famous pepper parmesan rolls. They still had a few items left and we decided to pick up two of them. Kouign Amann ($4.95) - The caramelization of the sugar on this pastry is on point. The bottom has a layer of sugar that has melted into a glaze with extreme caramelization, almost on the verge of being burnt. If it had been left in the oven for a few moments more, it would probably have started to develop an acrid taste. Luckily, it was pulled out at just the right time. Even the sides of this pastry have been graced with sweetness and a top layer of thicker sugar crystals/grains adds an amazing crunch. While the kouign amann may not have as many thin laminated layers as a croissant, there is still an excellent buttery interior which helps balance the outside sweetness. The interior is fluffy and layered well into an even honey comb pattern. This kouign amann exceeded my expectations. (5/5) 3:00 O'clock Baguette ($5.90) - Yikes, this is by far the most expensive baguette I've ever bought. I was kind of dreading it when I first felt the baguette through the bag - it seemed a bit soft and limpy. When I tore into it soon afterwards, I found my concerns to be somewhat unfounded. By somewhat I mean that yes, there is hardly a crust on the baguette, but the interior still exhibits a nice chew and the flavor is very well developed. It's a decent baguette, but nothing outstanding. Perhaps the crust would be better earlier in the day when fresh baked? (4/5) I was definitely surprised by the quality of the baked goods at Crooked Tree Breadworks. I'll have to revisit earlier in the day on my next visit to the area so I can try more of their breads and pastries.
