Fried yimian ($12.95)

This is one of my favorite local Chinese vegan spots! I usually get takeout but dining in was also a great experience. The service is very friendly and quick. There are many tables that fit 6 people lined along the front sides and towards the back are tables for larger parties. I love how the interior is very clean and bright; it feels cozy like someone's home. They also provide an iPad with photos for easy reference/ ordering. Our waitress recommended the fried fish fillet and said that's one of their most popular dishes - we were not disappointed! Dishes we ordered: - Braised kidney flower ($18.95) - Fried Fish Fillet ($18.95) - Fried YiMian (noodles) ($12.95) - Mushroom dry pot (referred to as special dish, not on takeout menu) ($18.95) At the start of our meal we got a plate of pickled radish and at the end we got a plate of orange slices. Overall, a terrific spot for great food and flavors! They also sell vegan groceries downstairs.

The menu is a long read but once you get through it; you won't be disappointed. Everything on the menu is vegetarian and they don't use high inflammatory ingredients (according to the sign out front). We opted for a variety of dishes to share amongst 3 people. The dishes were beautifully served and presented. I even enjoyed the unique dish wares they served the meal in. The portions are sharable. But they also have plenty rice box options which are more portioned for lunch. Each dish was standout and delivered on flavor and texture. Additionally, not pictured we got a mustard greens side which was also yum. Save room for desert. They have a full menu of traditional Chinese desserts and cooling puddings.

BK Seafood Market - Sizzling Eggplant

BK Seafood Market was a refreshing find in Bay Ridge. We came for dinner with my wife, parents, and…read moresiblings and ordered a big family-style spread of more than 10 dishes. We had stir-fried snails, jellyfish, Dungeness crab, live steamed fish, braised eggplant with fish fillet, stir-fried cauliflower with preserved meats, coral shrimp, sliced conch with crispy tofu, beef with string beans, seasonal vegetables, and fish maw soup. Everything came out hot, delicious, and well seasoned. The Dungeness crab was a standout, and it was refreshing to enjoy such a wide variety of seafood and traditional dishes. My wife was pleasantly surprised by the entire meal. The interior was nicely done and felt different from many other Chinese restaurants in Brooklyn. Service was attentive, and they seated us in a corner where we could enjoy our family conversation without constant interruption. The food came out very quickly, maybe a little too quickly, but we were fine with it. They were unfortunately out of a few fish and clam options, as well as several wines, but it did not take away from a great dinner. Highly recommended for a family-style Chinese seafood meal in Bay Ridge.

It was around 4:30pm and when we arrived, it was empty which was perfect for us. Space is big and spacious and their tables, plating, and decor really stood out to me. Seemed fancier than other Chinese restaurants! Ordered a variety of dishes and they were all really large portions and well-prepared. None were overly salty or sweet, just right. My favorite was their chicken, eggplant and salted fish claypot dish. It's one of my favorite dishes in general and they made it very well. Definitely will come here more often and will rec my family to try this place out for our next family event.

The food here is absolutely delicious! If you're looking for a happy hour that's actually worth it,…read morethis is the place. We ordered the wings, oysters, and the paella. Everything was excellent, but the paella was the star of the meal my wife couldn't put her fork down. The drinks were cold, refreshing, and paired perfectly with the food. The only downside was the service at the front. The host seemed a little unfriendly, which wasn't the best first impression. Thankfully, the manager stepped in, was very welcoming, and seated us in the back, which ended up being the perfect spot for a quick bite and a couple of drinks. Overall, the food and drinks definitely outweigh the small hiccup at the beginning. We'll definitely be back for happy hour again.

Maybe I should blame my friend for giving this place such high praise. I ordered their chaulafan…read morerice which was actually really good and so were their chicken wings very flavorful. My friend ordered the steak and shrimp skewers when they received the food the shrimp was raw was not cooked at all and they weren't gonna say anything so I had to step in and tell the server that the shrimp was raw which they recognized and they ended up bringing out cooked shrimp. Very weird. Doesn't seem like the healthiest thing to do for that. The fact that they didn't discount anything for that experience was wild too and it was hot as hell inside, I know it's summer but let's get a fan or something in to rotation. With that said our server was great and understanding. Will I come here again, maybe not top on my list but maybe sometime in the future. 3stars l

When we came, 2/7 was on time but they were really nice to let us wait in the room. After 10 minutes, we tried to order some appetizers so we weren't just sitting but the staff alerted us that once we order anything, the 2 hour counter starts and we were fine to wait for the rest of our party. There's a lot of non-traditional soup bases! I tried the silken chicken with dry rose and it had great flavor. For birthdays, they don't offer the birthday person free meal BUT they do give you a free wagyu plate. For $68.99, you get unlimited meats, seafood and bbq skewers! The birthday plate is a5 wagyu but the unlimited meats contained American wagyu, which was still delicious. I will say the skewers contain heavy cumin flavors, so if anyone dislikes that, you should avoid. Overall, it was a great dinner and we had loads of food and fun, especially with the karaoke. The price is reasonable for all the food you get. You also get unlimited drinks, and the host was nice to provide us with durian as dessert even though we didn't pay in cash.

They said they called us at 6:45pm but we never received a call. After waiting 25 minutes we were seated. Several of our orders did not come and/or were wrong. We would order 2 of some meats and only one would come. They were also really slow with the food. Our bbq stick food came after we had cut our cake and paid, despite ordering over 20 minutes ago. We usually get a room downstairs for a large group and the experience is great but this time there were only 5 of us and we were seated in the private spaces upstairs and it was just not enjoyable. I think it's hard to justify over $70 per person for a poor experience and just mediocre food.

(2/5) It came in a whole slice of gelatinous thing and was neon pink.. and I couldn't figure out why it was that color or texture. The citrus on top was refreshing but I'm cautious when my tuna comes out neon pink. It didn't taste like tuna and I wouldnt recommend this dish Grilled octopus (3.5/5) looked very promising but came out very salty, was t a fan of the green minty sauce either. Ended up washing it in the sauce our scallops came with instead Seared scallops (5/5) this was really good, albeit quite salty, the sauce helped and my friend and I both agreed it was cooked well. Would def recommend Truffle Short rib pasta- (4.5/5) we were too full at this point to really enjoy it. But this was my friends favorite dish he liked that the truffle wasn't over powering and the flavor of the beef short rib hit the spot for him. I thoguht it could have been slightly more flavorful Angry lobster pasta- (5/5) this was my favorite pasta and I'm glad our server recommended it although it was way too much food for two people. It reminds me of lobster bisque and I loved that it had tiny chunks of lobster in it
