I like that it's quarters because you could bring your own stash or if you don't use all of it, you can save the quarters for next time or use it in the real world. There's a variety of games from fighting to Mario kart to a ton of music beat games. We liked the drum and this one near the bathrooms. Lots of fun games (I just don't know the names). They're very loud and colorful. If you're new, they have tutorials which is nice (also makes gameplay a little longer). Most games are like $1 for 4-5 rounds - except for Mario kart which was kind of a scam. Overall, it's a lot of fun for dates or hangouts or to play something different than pinball machines. I did see a lot of toddlers and it's not a place for toddlers. Most toddlers would ask their parents to play a game but they would get bored or confused and leave after the parent inserted the coins to play said game. Take them to Chuck E. Cheese instead or like Malibu jacks nearby.

The games are well priced. It feels like you actually get to play games and enjoy for the amount you pay. There are so many machines and I gotta say, this place is a lot cleaner than other arcade bars with sticky floors. My favorite part of this establishment is the speciality drinks named after characters (Kirby, etc.). It makes it so fun! I also feel like the drinks are reasonably priced. I thought the servers were nice, but getting drinks took a while.

The lights were beautiful and the music was great- I would have loved if you could have heard it throughout the area. There are definitely some areas where things weren't working correctly, like speakers not working and lights burnt out. I would also recommend getting any snacks or drinks early as there seemed to be quite a line and not many working in the booth for food. These aren't deal breakers for me and we still had a lot of fun! We will be coming back for sure.

There are 3 themed courses - 1. Buccaneer Bay (pirate theme) 2. Adventure Cove (spooky theme with scary sounds, a graveyard, haunted house and fog effects - my favorite course) 3. Lost Continent (I really have no idea what this course is all about except there's a plane that has crashed. I found the course pretty boring - my least favorite course). I can't remember which course has the talking tree, but that was fun and unique. No matter which course you start on your last course will be the volcano. The volcano will erupt if you shoot the ball in the current location. If you don't, it has a water effect - if you are in the wrong place (or maybe the right place in the summer) you will get drenched with water. My nephew really enjoyed the shooting arcade which has funny and silly items in which to aim. There is a place to get food such as burgers, hotdogs, ice cream and dipping dots. There are also tables where you can eat your meal/dessert. There is a large parking lot with free parking. This is a really fun summer outing!

The Private Equity Ensh!ittifcation is Real…read more A group of friends and I went to Bowlero for a night of fun. On the way over, I was excited, but I left the venue feeling somewhat ripped off. Bowling has shifted from an affordable, casual pastime to a premium, entertainment-focused experience, with prices rising substantially in recent years. Firstly, the layout of the bowling alley has changed (at least at the Wheat Ridge location). Gone are the benches you might be accustomed to at each lane. Instead, there are tables near-ish the lanes, laid out in a zig-zag fashion. As you can imagine, some tables are closer to the lanes than others, and when we arrived another group was at our assigned table because it was closer to their lane. I don't fault the group at all - they just sat down close to their lane, but this system makes it problematic for people who just want to enjoy their night. The server ended up having to move two tables as a result, because... everyone was at the "wrong" tables near their respective lanes. The bench layout was much better in my opinion. No confusion. It makes little sense why they decided to get rid of those. Secondly, the service was meh. There was definitely a shortage of servers, and it took very long to receive anything that was ordered. I don't fault our sever for this. Rather, I fault management for not staffing properly. Typical corporate/PE playbook. Thirdly, playing two games cost me roughly $60 (for games + shoe rental + tax). If your birth year starts with a 1, then you probably scoffed at this amount. I certainly did. Don't even bother reserving a lane ahead of time, as it's even more expensive. It's also worth noting that the food (typical mediocre bowling alley food) and beverages are not cheap... All in all, bowling used to be inexpensive and fun. Now it's only slightly fun. Lucky Strike Entertainment is buying all the bowling alleys, slapping a new coat of paint on the buildings, and then tripling the prices. The rampant pursuit of profits over everything really makes me dislike bowling. I probably will not visit a Bowlero again in a very, very long time.

Personally enjoyed the Alien one more as I felt the Ghostbusters one was repetitive in some parts. Experience: Instructions are clear. Good pacing and very engaging. Space: Space is good for two. Was running into each other with three people. I feel like it would be too crowded with 4+ people on certain game activities. It kinda got stuffy in the room after 30 minutes, so it would be nice if there were bigger fans on the ceiling, ventilating the air more. Drinks: Pricey. Basic alcoholic and non alcoholic option. Nothing super exciting. There's a drink holder shelf in the game rooms. Extra note: Cancellation policy is very stringent. We added two friends to our reservation on the day of the reservation and a few hours later, they couldn't make it due to a sudden medical reason. Even though these changes all happened on the day of, they would not make any exception. Only offered the option of rescheduling them in the future by emailing the manager. Keep that in mind when you make a reservation.

It was a great place for a corporate event with many different options that accommodate everyone. Everything was going great but when I went to the bar with my coworkers who wanted a drink, I was halfway done with my second drink, and i'd like to say mine were not boozy. My coworker offered to buy me a drink and I said sure, the bartender (not the same as the one who originally served me) took the money and charged for the drinks. She comes back and says that she can't give me my drink until the current one is gone, so I have no option but to finish it right there. I'm then talking to my coworkers and she comes back and tells me "This will be your last drink as I am noticing some slurring in your speech. Do you have a ride home" I'm in literal shock, what did you say? I am no where near being cut off, yes I have a ride home, myself. I ask my coworkers, am I slurring, they state that i'm talking normally. I was tongue tied my whole life and got a frenectomy a few years ago to help with it but I continue to have a speech impediment as I did not go to speech therapy. I thought I was done being called out for not speaking like everyone else. Days later i'm still thinking about this and it hurts that people are still making me feel less of a person for the way I speak and enunciate. I spent almost $1,000 there for a corporate event and I got cut off for having a speech impediment, I felt humiliated in front of my coworkers, that is clear discrimination.
