Late night, no reservation, no agenda -- straight to the arcade. Over 100 games, retro and modern mixed together , and the kind of layout that lets you drift from machine to machine without a strategy. The energy was good -- busy enough to feel alive, relaxed enough that we never felt rushed. That said, a few machines weren't working and still managed to swallow our points, which is frustrating when you're already paying to play. And if you're hoping for classics like DDR or Pac-Man, temper expectations -- the selection skews more toward ticket-redemption games than arcade purists might want. Some machines just didn't land for us. But here's the thing: we still had a good time. The vibe carried the night, the spontaneity made it memorable, and there's enough variety that you'll find your groove eventually. We have signed up for Kids Bowl Free for the past two summers, and it's always a great experience. The value is unbeatable, and the kids always have such a great time. What I love the most about Main Event though, is the staff. They are always super nice to the kids and go above and beyond to make their experience a good one. It's very rare to find that these days, and I love coming here because of it. Ava especially is wonderful! When it comes to the food, I would say stick to the hot items. The nachos and chicken strips are always very good and a hit with our group. I have ordered a salad before and found it small portioned and missing some of the items listed in the description. That could have been a supply chain issue, so I wasn't worried too much, but I wouldn't order it again. We have some kids in our group with food allergies, and the staff fully respects their needs and accommodates them. The drinks are great, and they have lots of varieties for everyone to choose from. Because it's a bowling alley and they're in full swing of their summer kids program, I would suggest bringing headphones if you're an adult observer and are sensitive to child centered noise and commotion. It's not too much for me, but I'm a parent with a large family. However, I could see it being an issue for someone with sensory concerns. Just a tip! It's a straight charge of $37 per lane up to 6 people and we were only 2 people so it was expensive considering the AMF about a mile away is about half the price. Anyways we had fun bowling so I can't complain. Service was good. We ordered pizza and Shirley temples. Bowling lanes worked perfect but they didn't have a good selection of bowling balls so none of them really fit my fingers well. We held our annual bowling tournament at the Thornton Colorado location. The center is very clean and well maintained. Jo Alloway runs a great facility making sure every attention to detail is taken care of. The employees are great and always on top of our needs. Asha, MJ and Denise were great servers and the techs (Chris and Ted) kept the lanes working great. The entire team came together to provide a great atmosphere and a professional feel. One of the workers here yelled at my son and his friends to "shut up". They are 8 and 9. At an arcade. "Hey, can you guys keep it down?" Would have been an ok thing to ask young kids. At an arcade. Who are excited. "Shut up"? Beyond not ok. I told the desk this happened while we were there. No meaningful response. I emailed them after we left to let them know what happened. They asked for more information, which I gave, and then never responded. We won't be back here until they train their employees how to speak to children. My son left here crying thanks to their employee and there was absolutely no response from them. Today's monday, october thirteenth two thousand twenty five. This place is running a special.You buy a unlimited play card before noon and you can play unlimited until five. Unbeknownst to me that there was a six dollar per person charge for bowling shoes. Again, not reading the fine print big mistake on my part learned my lesson. There's also a one hour time limit for bowling lanes, even though they sell it and market it as unlimited bowling between noon and five. The classic greedy bait and switch. They shut our game off during the seventh frame.I then went to ask them why and they explained to me that there was a wait list.And if I wanted to get on it, that it would be roughly an hour until we were able to play again. I requested a manager.He then informed me that because the leagues reserve the other thirty bowling lanes that there was no lanes available for at least another hour. I said they didn't even finish their first game.They're still in the seventh frame well, you got the package deal, right?They only get an hour of time.I said, how is that unlimited then?If it's only an hour of time. I told him he was not worth my time.Anymore walked awayWent to get in line for laser tag, only to find out that there was one person working an area that requires a three person crew. We went here in a Friday night to grab some food and play some games. Went to the restaurant area stood there had to be asked to be seated, had to be asked to be waited on, had to ask for silverware was never asked how the food was was never asked if they could get us anything else had to ask for the bill had to ask for a napkins and the attitude from the waitress was atrocious. I used to come here with my husband and kids often on Wednesdays for the half price games promotion. We usually also bought food, and spent a decent amount on that. It's been a while, but we came tonight (a Wednesday) and were really disappointed! The games were no longer half price - in fact, the prices have gone up significantly. Many of the games were broken or working poorly. Several of the games (Avengers and Mario Cart among them) had the sound turned off so it totally detracted from the playing experience. For the first time, my kids actually got bored and asked to go home despite having playing credit left. It's hard to understand why they took away the Wednesday promo. It used to be busy on Wednesday nights, and now it's empty. Surely the point is to get people in the door to spend money on food and drinks, but now I'm not interested in going at all. The funny thing is that my husband and I have a combined 60,000 tickets on our cards from pumping money into games, but there was never anything that interested us enough in the prize room so it just goes unused. read more

Oh man! Was not expecting the amazing experience we ended up having. We got the wrist band that included laser tag, bowling and pool. Made the drive out for veteran's day free meal and 30 minute game card with my daughter. The dining area was closed off with a sign stating to go in bowling line. After waiting there for a few minutes I asked the guy running the register if they were participating in the veteran's day free meal, his response was "o yeah you can just sit anywhere or talk to a server". We sat in the area that looked more like a restaurant instead of a bar, but quickly realized it was probably closed. So then i took my daughter to play games on our own budget. It seems I have gone to a lot of bowling alleys this year. Here is another for the list. Full disclosure on this review: I did not pay for the bowling but did pay for the food/arcade. More on that later. I was invited by my friend/neighbor to go bowling with my daughter here. He said he had a coupon or something and we could go with him and his daughters. We accepted and went over together. I hadn't been to this place before but the location seems huge! It has a full restaurant, arcade, and lots of bowling alleys. In fact, it has one set of bowling alleys and then another set off in a side room. We were sent off to the side room for our bowling. This seems to be the location closest to the bar as well. The bowling lanes were really nice! You got to control the score board and names easily (which seems to not be common anymore) and they had different settings for "types of games". We didn't mess with that though. We just did classic bowling. We picked up some pitchers of beer (also seems to be less common with bowling places now I guess) and some chips and queso. We got two pitchers and a thing of chips and queso. At one point, one of the kids got more queso from a server. All of this totaled up to 80 something dollars. I am not sure if I missed something but that price seems high! Whatever though, I didn't pay for the bowling. Here is the caveat to the food. The server let us know that if you ordered something with a diamond next to it on the menu then you get a $30 game card. Server knew a good upsell so we did do that. Chips and queso were fine but nothing special. Beer is needed for bowling. I call it bowling juice. After bowling we went over to the arcade and surprisingly the arcade isn't that big compared to how large this place is. The games were all a lot of money eating non-games where you just hopefully when tickets but in reality you probably just move through your credits fast. The kids had fun though and I am always down for some skeeball. The prize area for the tickets was bad. Nothing worth while and honestly the prizes were so lame all the kids barely even wanted to get anything. This place is good for bowling and the service was excellent but unless you are ready to spend a large amount of money, you could probably go elsewhere. I had a great time though so that is why my review is at four stars. read more

Showed up to celebrate a birthday and started at the restaurant, and the service was so bad, we just ended up leaving when we were done. We arrived at 5pm, then after being sat, had to wait another 25 minutes before we could place an order for food. When we asked how much longer the food would take, our server Brody sent out the manager. The manager then proceeded to tell us that we ordered at exactly 5:26pm, and it would take at least 15 more minutes to come out. When the food eventually came out, the order was incorrect for almost every one of us in the 6 person party. When we brought this up to the server, they sent over the manager again to tell us that Brody wrote down the order wrong. Even after promising to make it right, we still didn't get all of order. Eventually we got our checks, boxes and left. The manager comped us for the food we never got, but nothing else. I understand service can be slow when many companies are short-staffed, and employees are young, but what was most disappointing was the manager's condescending nature to try to make a point instead of apologizing and making it right. We actually had to repeat the missing items several times, the manager didn't bother to write them down and eventually decided to just cut checks and we left. They started with 8.99 after 9pm and you can do all night arcade ( none redeemable prices games) laser tag and bowling then switched to 12.99 then 18.99 now 22.99 just for bowling and laser tag. Oh and then the shoes for bowling went up to almost 5$ per person They jacked up the prices switched to different hours and called it good. Crazy how stingy corporate is. I know prices have went up everywhere but this is a huge jump and on top of it all they took out arcade games from the deal. What a joke. read more

I thought I had reserved a bowling lane online, but I didn't complete the process, so when I arrived, the Manager (a young lady) assisted me in getting a lane reserved. She was sensitive to the situation and explained the process to me since it was my first time reserving online. In addition to the EXCELLENT customer service I received, the food was good (pizza)! The server we had was very responsive to our needs and checked in with us periodically (we were on Lane #30). We had a great time and will be returning in the near future! Last minute decision to go bowling. We had to wait 30 minutes which was fine as the arcade is VERY fun and has appropriate games for all ages. The food was delicious and our server Nina was attentive and friendly. I didn't pay for our games of bowling, but I still felt a little guilty as you pay for time and not games. There is so much new going in up here....yet it is new burby here so seems finding a solid staff might be hard. Some staff were truly great, but overall there is a lot of lack of experience and lack of thoroughness that comes through here grossly. Set up - it is new and lots of great possibilities and fun stuff here. Food...meh...music and environment...meh. Missing a lot of attention to detail. Filled out shoe forms for the group, most weren't delivered. Group drinks weren't provided with ice, people showed up for our event and at check in weren't directed on where to go. Some staff were busy talking to friends and/or on their phone and it wasn't clear who was the actual adult in charge at times. If you have a group event here you should keep this in mind as with an autograd tip set up this seems particularly inappropriate for the level of service given, especially on a very non-busy day. Other note of concern. We had a random guy come up and sit at a table behind our bowling lanes with a drink and when asked if he was a parent waiting, he made a comment that he just enjoyed watching kids and then disappeared right as we finished bowling. read more
