We love the food and atmosphere. Tonight the service was absolutely terrible and when I asked to speak to a manager I heard the waitress tell someone I wasn't happy and then refuse to come out then she said the manager was out on a delivery. Then when I called to let the manager know she copped an attitude saying that they were "extremely busy" when we were there, which they were not there were several employees walking around doing absolutely nothing. Horrible customer service. I called to let them know I didnt get what I ordered and asked them to fix it. The lady said it was my fault because I didnt understand the menu, when their website was having issues and directed me else where to look at the menu i ordered from. I told her what I got was horrible and not even a full container and she got very rude with me saying it's my fault and they weren't going to fix it. I would give 5 stars except for the fact that a small side of dipping teriyaki sauce should not cost 2 dollars, you can buy an entire bottle for 2 dollars at the store, and a 2 dollar fountain drink should have more than one refill considering you can buy an entire 2 liter for 1 dollar. However Parking is hard as it is on the main corner of 101 N/S and Newmark a busy local street, so take extreme care and your tummy will be delighted. I've been coming to this place for 6 years now and I'm never disappointed. Everything is good. I've had everything Sweet & Sour they have (the sauce is to die for), but the true greatness comes in the form of their Szechuan dishes, with the Beef is my favorite dish they make. Can't tell you how many times I'm grabbed a Szechuan-style Family dinner (#3) for 3 to 4 and ate on it for 3-4 days days solid! So good They give you loads of food and a great price, and the service is great. They even deliver! (something most of the others in the area do not). Only other Chinese place in town that might do it as well is Chan's Wok, but skip Tai's Dynasty (only thing they do right there is their unique General's Tso chicken, but Lucky's is better even so), and dont touch Kum-Yons with a 100 ft poll. I really want to give 3.5 stars but have to go 4 for effort. The food was solid decent American Chinese. We got 2 dishes with potstickers, we could have feed 6 people with what they delivered. The house "Lo-Mein" was awesome, the "sweet and sour chicken" was decent, but not awesome. However, the portions were a good value for the price. So I needed to post a review after eating here on a visit to the area. This is the cleanest Chinese restaurant I have ever eaten at and the food was very good. I had little hope for both just by judging from the outside or the name. Although some of the decor appears to be dated to the 70s it is kept so clean it looks new. The keys to this restaurant's success is not the food being great since it is just average, it's the quantity combined with a reasonable price plus the service and interior is good. Should this be your recipe for picking a place to eat, then by all means dine here. I'd rather pay more and get a better grade of Chinese food but that's my tastes speaking. Chinese food is a bit better elsewhere, but it's by no means bad. As far as bang for the buck goes, LS can't be beat. One cheap meal gives me leftovers for two more. The service is good. This restaurant has my fiances favorite hot and sour soup and cannot find any other Chinese place that offers something like it. We ordered delivery I was told that the driver would have a card reader but then after an hour of waiting I get a call back from them asking for my card payment over the phone. No big deal I payed but then had to wait Evan longer for food to be delivered. Never again after having to pay a minimum of 25 dollars and five dollar delivery fee.
