12/11/25: The waitress was on her phone the whole time. I had to go ask if I could order. I had to go ask if I could have a to-go box. Nobody cared if I liked the food. I never got a refill on my soda. There were two other people in the restaurant. Consistently over the past 3 years, they don't give a damn. The food is decent. I won't get food here again for at least a year. I don't like the way they act here.

I loved this place! All of our food was amazing and the veggies tasted very fresh. The coconut shrimp was unlike any I've seen before and has this amazing sweet sauce on top. The people let us in 5 minutes before they closed which was so nice. Also the tea we got when we sat down was probably the best tea I've ever had it was so good I didn't even need to put any sugar in it when I usually do. They have a lot of seating but we were the only ones there because it was very late but yeah it's a really nice place they got some music going and I hope I can go back!

Stopped by to grab some takeout dinner on a Friday night as my friend and I were traveling through. Stepping through the doors, I was completely taken by surprise. It definitely looked and felt more like a lounge than a Chinese restaurant! There's a bar, a couple of pool tables, and even some slot machines in the corner. My friend and I ordered two combo dinners since it seemed the easiest. We got the house special ($13.50) which comes with fried shrimp, bbq pork, pork fried rice, pork chow mein, and sweet & sour pork, as well as combo #8 ($15), which has fried shrimp, beef broccoli, and pork fried rice. The food was ready in ~20 minutes or so. Everything was packaged nicely in small to go containers and fit snugly in the paper bag. We ate the food in the car on the way, as we were rushing to get to our accommodations for the night. My favorites were the fried shrimp (nice and crispy!) and the beef broccoli (beef was very tender). The fried rice wasn't bad as well. The only complaint I have about this meal with the pork "chow mein", which we thought were going to be stir fried noodles but was actually small noodle bits deep fried until they were crispy. It was more of a snack than anything else, and didn't come with pork. I consider that false advertising...

Table has salt pepper sugar soy sauce sweet and sour sauce and mustard, sadly no chili sauce.

I really like their food, and the people are so friendly. This is the one place I am comfortable going to eat alone.

Huge language barrier since the owners moved. Food is not the same and service has declined second time my take out order was wrong.

The coconut shrimp is amazing. I also love their egg drop soup. My best friend orders the pan fried noodles with assorted proteins.

Our waiter took away my salad with food still on the plate ...I literally had my fork in my hand and food in my mouth when he snatched my plate. Rest of the meal, he was abrupt and awkward (dropping the check without a word... same with the change after paying). He would be better off working as a bagger at Safeway. And the food was gross. The cream sauce on the crab tasted like it was only milk and cornstarch, vegetables were boiled to death ...and the vinaigrette was the consistency of gel toothpaste. If this were Red Robin, I'd be disappointed ...but for a restaurant with $36 entrees, it was appalling. I hate to give a negative review, but I feel obliged to warn other Yelpers.

But boy were we surprised! We were greeted immediately and sat. The vibe was a casual seaside home feel. Our server,Bethany, was such a delight! She was incredibly friendly and polite. She took our drink order and have us time to go over the specials and menu. My husband opted for the pork chop dinner and had a salad and clam chowder. They bright out some warm bread, which was delightful! (Especially the cranberry bread!) The pork chop was moist and flavorful. Great portions. And the clam chowder was thick and delicious! There's a great menu selection. And they had a big dessert menu, which we ordered and opted to take back to the hotel with us. Everything was great! Special shout-out to Bethany, as she really was as sweet as the pie we ordered! A true asset to the establishment! She really did make our time there extra bright. Definitely worth a stop in.

Kind of a hip dive bar meets delicious food with a sprinkle of old timers ready to share a story or two with you while you wait. We got burgers, cuz duh... Look at these things!! There was zero chance either of us were able to finish these monsters so the rest came home with us. The side salad was amazing! Fries were delicious. And the burgers did not disappoint. It took a total of TWO hours and 15 minutes, and that's AFTER we went up to the counter to ask about the pizza progress. Their ranch was prob my favorite food item & my family thought the wings were alright. -Ambiance 3/5: It's the exact vibe of what you would expect from a dive bar, but the staff obviously favors locals-only. Tourists may feel like all eyes are on them. Pros: -One of few places for late-night dinner/grub. -Allows you to experience a Port Orford locals' bar spot. -There's karaoke apparently on Saturday nights which may be fun to check out. TLDR: If you do need a late-night spot for food, do not get the pizza...NOT worth the wait. Grab some apps & beers and just enjoy the local bar vibe of Port Orford.
