The vegetable spring roll you could tell was fresh and in house made. The portions where a little too big for one person and could easily feel two people easy. The only downside of the take away was that the waiting area was cold and when the door opened the cold breeze went straight through you. A lot of customers that l saw where confused and trying to push the door than pull, a sign could have made things clearer.

The staff are always friendly, the food is fresh and the menu is pretty much what you'd expect, but with a wide choice of take away options in the area, there's a reason that this place has lasted over the years and that's because what it lacks in glamour it makes up in other ways. I have noticed on our visit that they have started doing a few meal packages recently, which appear to be aimed at the local market and in line with other local take always, not to my tastes, but I don't like to judge.
