Went in for a gel manicure. Within the first day, (it's been 5 hours) the GEL nail polish starts peeling. It hasn't even been a full day and the gel nail polish nails started peeling, this is really frustrating. I paid that extra money to have the nails last only for them to not last a full day because the service was so rushed they didn't let the coats dry in between I'm guessing? It's upsetting because I made sure to pay extra and even left a tip because I wanted them to last a little :( read more

I've had a few decent experiences here but this last time was the last time I will be going here. When I got my pedicure, the man doing my pedi seemed angry when i said I didn't want gel and asked me "why" and wouldn't continue until I gave him an answer. My "massage" was maybe 10 seconds each leg and my leg was covered in lotion when he pulled my pant legs back down, very uncomfortable. I was given a manicure that made me bleed pretty bad.. needed a bandaid.. and lastly, they don't even accept debit cards anymore.. you have to use an ATM to get cash to pay. I am so picky with my nails this is not a secret I will complain about the slightest mistake on my nails or my toes. Every nail salon in the area is absolutely awful and I cannot stand going to them so I was really skeptical about going to a new salon in the area. But I am so glad that I did! This place was absolutely wonderful they did my toes for my wedding and they look perfect everyone was so friendly and they even opened a little early just to take me. Id like to start by saying I love mel and mimi they are amazing artists always had a good time with them and normally book with one of them. Unfortunately I came when it was very packed and got the guy BIG MISTAKE i wished I had asked for mimi or mel but they were busy so I figured I wont be a hassle the guy was an idiot he didnt know what he was doing Ive gotten my nails done for years and I have never had anyone so rude and unprofessional. First he put the arcylic powder before cutting my nails and then was surprised that he couldnt cut thru the powder, then he cut my nails too short didnt even ask me if I was okay with the length I told him medium he gave me short. Then he cut me filing my nails which I cried out loud and pulled my hand back he didnt even say sorry. He didnt check if my nails were even I did that myself.He then started treating me roughly snatching my hand and swiping them away when he was done each time huffing and puffing even started yelling at me the way I put my hands. My nails are uneven and bubbled at the base while some aren't, shaping was bad as well, and when he put alcohol I noticed more cuts around my cuticles. I ended up trying this salon out due to my normal salon being closed for renovation and I didn't think it was possible to have a good nail salon in a small town but here it is! The people were very friendly and my manicure (new set of short coffin with a matte rose gel) and pedicure are gorgeous. I couldn't be any more thrilled at having a new salon. Came to this nail salon based on Yelp reviews. The staff was extremely friendly and were very quick to greet me. However, once they got started with me a couple other customers walked in, this is why I'm giving two stars. They almost seemed in a hurry to get me out of the salon, my nail polish was pretty bubbly and kind of sloppy. Sad to say that I had higher hopes for this place. I love this place for the people who work here. It says something about business owners when they allow friends to work with them but ask them not to come back because the quality of their work does not match or exceed their own. Only 2 people are here on average, so you have to be lucky or patient but its worth it. 9 times out of 10 the two people that you will see is Jen and her husband. They are always friendly and they do a great thorough job. I'm not going to lie, I have feet drier than the Mohave. I wear flip flops all of the time and do not like wearing socks and shoes even though I know it helps keep moisture in the soles of your feet. Needless to say, I really should be getting a pedicure about once a month since I'm too lazy to take care of my feet. I've been traveling a lot lately and have been having to go to other places to get my pedicure kick. There is no where around that does as good of a job as this couple. True they may not massage you or rub down your legs as much as some of the other places, but when it comes to making your soles soft and touchable again, they can't be beat. Prices are on point for the area with a $1-2 variant but to me it's totally worth it. I'm lucky because I live in Lemoore, and they are right next to the gym, but even if I moved I would make the pilgrimage here. read more

They are amazing at doing full sets of acrylics, but one lady was taking mine off and didn't say anything, my pinky was bleeding and i don't know what happened then they continued with my new set of acrylics. it would've been super nice to know i was bleeding and what happened to my nail. Other than that, they're acrylic sets are amazing so far. read more

I don't typically do reviews but this place blew me out of the water for local nail places, I downloaded the app just to do this. I got there on a Thursday middle of the day, they took me right away with no appointment. They let me get what I wanted I wasn't rushed. I got gel nails and it lasted a month long and she even did a flower I found online for me perfectly. They are so polite they're it's family owned and they are so sweet. I've been to the other nail spa in lemoore next to Starbucks bit this one is WAY better. I come here everytime. read more

I typically only like getting pedicures at day spas, but I have been here a few times, and while the place is not very fancy it is a family business and there is pride in it. I have had about 4 pedicures there (the husband has been the one who did them every time) and I have never had anyone get rid of calluses like he does. They are very friendly, not like other nail shops where they talk in their own language to each other and ignore the customer, these people carry on a conversation with their customers. The daughter will occasionally help with simple tasks like filling the tub. If money wasn't so tight I would be here a lot more often. read more

A wonderful mom and pop shop. The services provided were executed quickly and professionally. I had a deluxe pedicure as my legs were super tired and I have some callouses that just keep coming back. My treatments were done with expert care and my feet and legs now feel much better. The equipment is a bit worn but that just shows how much business they have done. read more

Update 5/31 evening: It's several hours after my manicure. Every single nail has bubbles. Every single one. I've never actually had this happen before. Even the nails that looked ok walking out of the salon, now have bubbles. I wish my smartphone camera could capture the details close up. Will see about getting a polish change elsewhere tomorrow. Complete disappointment. First experience with this place and chose it based on the four 5 star yelp reviews. Sadly I had a very different experience than the other reviewers. The people are very nice and personable- it's obviously a family business and they are very welcoming. Unfortunately the service wasn't as nice as the people themselves. First, I had made an appointment in advance. When I arrived, I let them know I was there for my appointment and was asked to sit at a table. The grandmother came over to remove my old polish, then I sat sat waiting for 25 minutes and had to ask for the rest of the service. The owner ( I assume) said that she didn't know I had an appointment, even though I told her when I arrived. Second, the polishes seem to be old. The color is bubbled and I watched my technician add polish remover to the bottles to extend the color. Having seen this before, I know that it breaks the polish down, hence my bubbled nails. Third, the service... I had to ask for a base coat to be applied, for the rest of my old polish to be cleaned from my nails and for a bottle of top coat that wasn't doctored with alcohol or polish remover to be used. The final straw was the hands of my technician. He had old polish all over his hands and nails and I did not see him wash his hands before coming to work on me. If only they had fresh polishes, were on time, higher standards of cleanliness. Again, really nice family, but the service was not up to par. read more

Me and my mom went to this salon and it was packed so I thought that was a good sign but I guess I was wrong. I wanted a simple coffin nail with colored acrylic and the nail tech got started but the shape was horrible I got up charged for every little thing, I just went here since I wasn't able to get in with my nail tech and my mom wanted a manicure. The one that did my moms nails wasn't the best either she wanted something simple and it wasn't a good job either. I'm going to see my normal nail tech this weekend since it's been 2 weeks but the nails are lifting and I decided to soak them off. The product they used has to have MMA because it's not soaking off like normal acrylic. It's so gummy and having a hard time lifting. Don't go here they're using horrible products for the nails and now mine are ruined. They are super thin now and tearing off. Super unsatisfied and I just wanted to put the word it there about the acrylic. I didn't take any pictures because I figured it'd be an easy removal process as I've done it before with other acrylic nails. read more

I was admiring her beautiful nails and she referred me to you. i figured lets try since I had not had the best nail luck in the past but today was different. Tony took care of me. I was going for something simple because I was in a time crunch between jobs. Tony went above and beyond, he did a beautiful ombre with pink and white.
