I went here because of the reviews I'm quite surprised with the reviews. I didn't find the place clean at all. I showed the gentleman doing my nails a picture of what I wanted from their Yelp with just a change to the ring finger and walked out went straight to Walmart to buy me some nail polish to fix my $50 nails. Maybe it's a hit or miss but I feel mine was a miss. I kept waiting for my guy to add some pink to my base and white to my tips for my French manicure but it never came. Going against my better judgment, I still gave this place a chance in which I now regret. Pay attention to the client reviews and not the overall 4 star rating they somehow have. They open at 10, and I walked in at 10:05. Asked for a pedi and full set. Sat down for the pedi which was nice up until the grooming, cleaning and painting of my nails. There was no cleaning of my nails. The French I asked for was jagged and the lines were not even complete. I waited to see if there was going to be clean up of the white annnnd NOPE.... the gel finish started going on. ‍ I couldn't believe it. I'm not one to be rude so I simply asked for the paint to be taken off and I'd just pay for the pedi alone. The tech next to us was going to stop the client she had to finish mine. Which is not right. And I still got asked twice if I wanted my hands done. Um, no thank you. Went to pay and was told $35 in which I responded "$35 for what?" He said "oops, $25". Walked out at 11:30, with bare feet and a waste of time spent. I could have taken that time to do them myself at home. My fault, but warning for the people who want to try a "new" place out.... I usually see a private nail technician at a different salon but she was unavailable. I was anxious to get my nails done by someone new, but overall a pleasant experience. Both technicians were careful and didn't rush the service. My gel manicure required extra care and Mr. Le did a great job! He was so patient with me. Edited to add photos. My cuticles on two fingers are still very painful red and swollen almost a day later. If you want a relaxing mani/pedi, this is not your salon. I have very natural long beautiful nails. For years when I lived in a diff state, I got Gel manicures at a salon there. The techs would soak off with cotton balls dipped in acetone, which they covered with foil. After it sat for a while, they would gently remove the polish that lifted with a cuticle pusher. They would soak again what didn't lift off, and then gently remove the rest. I never had damaged nails while they used this process. They never scratched or scraped into my nail bed. I did this for 3 years. Today was my followup visit to this salon after getting Gel last Visit. Vu tried to use a drill to remove the polish. I kindly asked him not to use the drill, to soak them please, that I do not want damaged nails. Several times through the visit I asked him to not destroy my nails to which he said I know I know and proceeded to file and scrape into my nail bed with anything he could get his hands on except the drill. At one point he used his own nails to aggressively RAKE the polish off mine. He said to me this must be your first time, after I asked him to soak. When he was done, it looked like he just removed acrylics. If I wanted damaged nails, I would have gotten them! This is not okay! It even says it on their nail color selection thing they handed me "soak off gel nails". During the pedicure massage, he did weird painful things to my legs and feet which made me pull away and I told him, too much. During the manicure he was distracted, digging the cuticle scraper across my skin instead of onto my nail. I told him several times. Ouch. Too much. He cut the sides of my nails for whatever reason I don't know. My nails are already beautifully shaped and I have never had anyone slim the sides of them. He was grabbing hang nails with the clippers and ripping them up, so I told him too much that hurts. Twice when he was cutting at the sides of my nails, he had part of my flesh in the clippers so I told him, that's my finger don't cut it. It's now been an hour since getting my manicure and my cuticles and sides of my nail beds are still throbbing in pain. Three weeks ago when I visited, the man and woman who did my mani/pedi were SO much better. I only wish I had their names so I could praise them for their work which I was so happy with. I've been here a lot before in the past. Throughout 2018-2019 I came here for a mani/pedi with regular polish often. I have seen Vu before for a pedi and he was not this rough with me. But I do recall being unhappy with his polish work. Today I am unhappy again with his polish. The polish is white. There is something black stuck in the polish on one nail, bubbles in almost all nails, polish on my cuticles, polish not all the way to some cuticles, polish not completely finished on some nails, and areas where the white is lightly transparent. There is a nail salon on every corner it seems, you would think a business would try harder to respect its customers and maintain their business. read more

Im writing this because I witnessed the most rude customer service experience ever! I was there Monday and some lady (super super nice polite and sweet) showed them her nails from her service with them that Saturday right before. One of the nail techs even confirmed they remembered her. The simply asked if they could re do/fix the nails. Which by the way SEVERAL looked like they'd been ran over with a car. The man started speaking in his language and with much attitude told the lady he'd fix them for $10 more! She spend more time out of her life for them to fix what they are responsible for..and they charged her again. I was going to do my nails but after witnessing that no way! I'm only sharing becuz these salon owners don't give a damn about us and they know ppl will keep going. so maybe the more we all speak out things may change. And even if they don't. Let's not support these businesses that think they can treat us any way they want. read more

I wasn't going to leave a review but I was curious at what others had to say. I went in there to get my French tip removed. The lady filed them down a bit and then yanked them off with a fake nail. I could've done this myself. I thought they'd do a more thorough job and seeing I usually scrape them off myself and leave damage, I didn't want this. That's exactly what happened. If you'd ever yank your nails off, you'll know your natural ones will suffer. It was actually quite painful to. When I do it, I am a lot more careful. read more

Got my nails done here for the 5th time, I never expect perfection, and they always do a decent job! I didn't call ahead of time and just walked in, fortunately there wasn't a wait time and they finished my nails within 50 minutes. I went to nail world for a manicure, and after the manicure was finished, my fingers started to itch and burn. The burning stopped with after a day then within a couple weeks they started to burn and itch again. When I went back the second time to have her remove the nail polish, I told her not to use any acetone just in case I had a reaction to it we did the nails again, and within three weeks I noticed that my fingers were starting to split, and I went to the dermatologist, he told me that I had a staff infection and put me on medication and get the polish off my nails and this is what was underneath my nails when then polish was removed not just one finger it's all 10 fingers. It is my understanding from my dermatologist that this is a infection that has gotten under my nails from faulty cleaning of instruments. I give this store a -5. read more

Normally I like this place but it seems as if the quality goes down every time I go. My friend and I went to get our nails done for our command Christmas party on Saturday and my jewels already came off. I told them before I left I feel like a certain nail is going to come off they said no no it won't and it did. They were rushing so much that they didn't finish mine and passed me off to a different worker. My nails are breaking jewels are coming off and it's only been two days. I paid too much for this to be happening. I'm not rough on my nails I take very good care of my nails and this is ridiculous. I'm very disappointed. read more

Update: went back in this morning because all of my nails started lifting. One of the guys fixed it all and apologized for me having to come back in. He was very professional and nice. I have been here several times and it has always been great. Came today and got the worst fill ever. The girl that did the fill had no clue what she was doing. She didn't even want to file them down where they were lifting. I had tell her to do it. There are humps and air pockets across all of my nails. I brought it to her attention several times and she ignored me. Another guy painted them and didn't seem to care either. I let him know while I was paying that it was a crappy job and I was very unhappy. He still charged me full price with no apology or anything. It seems like anymore when you just go in there for a basic service, they do a crappy job. If you want all the fancy artwork and extra stuff they take their time and treat you wonderful. My girlfriend went there 05.19.22 she went in for a fill and had horrible customer service, the lady on the second table helped her, she right away said she could do what my gf wanted which was a fill and a French tip, during the process she made her nails WIDE with gel leaking on the sides, when my gf told her she didn't like it she threw a fit and was being loud, she demanded $30 for the messed up fill, my gf asked someone else to do her nails and when she did she grabbed her hand and threw it in front of all the customers. I went to get my acrylics removed and the man who helped me literally started yanking my acrylics off. I went in thinking he was going to soak them off because that is what they usually do. My nails are now damaged and when I told him it hurt me he continued to yank them anyway. 0/10 would not recommend getting your nails removed here. read more

Moved to Hanford recently and was looking for a new place for my pedicures. After reading the recent reviews I chose to give this place a try and BOY AM I GLAD I DID. I got the Romantic pedicure ($32) by Rose and my mom got the regular ($21) by Tommy Both had massages and sea salt and were the best pedicures we've had. Everyone took their time and paid attention to detail. The Romantic pedicure had a cooling gel + mask, callus remover and a longer massage. Gel was $15 extra but they have a wall full of colors and it was totally worth it. Note: my mom has psoriasis on her feet which makes her self-conscious... not only did they make her feel comfortable but they did a GREAT job making her feet look amazing. The salon was clean and tools were individually packaged and appeared to be 1 time use. ALSO!! They offer free soda and water while you are getting your pedicure They are under new management so ignore older reviews. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!! read more

Today is my dads birthday and I managed to talk him into getting a pedicure since he is always on his feet at work with clunky work boots. As the excited daughter that I am I checked this place out since all of the other reviews were so great and I have to say the reviews are absolutely true! This place is so professional and very clean. I'm a cosmetologist myself and all of their tools were packaged and clean for one time use and they even used plastic wrap as new work surfaces. The attention to detail and the massage was so incredible! My dad got the Romantic pedicure because he wanted to love his feet and he ended up loving the massage and the "dirt" as he called it LOL aka the exfoliating scrub. He said he liked the way it made all of his tattoos look bold and fresh again. Safe to say he's a fan of exfoliating now lol My mom loved the paraffin wax and hot towels. Also the longer massage because she was half asleep when we left LOL she got the Deluxe pedicure and was very impressed. All 3 pedicures ended up being $105 all together and honestly it was worth every penny and more since I tipped each one. Due to my job, my nails can't be super crazy and fun. So I wanted something simple and neutral tones that compliment my skin tone. Sgoukd be easy right?.... Boy was I wrong. The "nail tech" ( I saw no license posted anywhere... For anyone) glued the tips on at an upward angle. Leaving a huge gap from my real nail to the actual acrylic. Then while he was working.. I was letting him know I don't like the acrylic to be super thick and asked if he could shave it down.. He proceeded to talk down to me and commented that I must've never had my nails done before.. As if its unfathomable that he could possibly produce a less than perfect nail... And within a week the nails broke off because they were not fully seated on my real nails. I have mixed feelings about this place. Lina has always done a very good job, as one other girl whose name I don't recall. There are two men that have done my nails, both have been pretty rough with my hands even after asking them to be more gentle because I have arthritis. One man in particular, seems to be distracted the entire time that he works on me. I have to remind him to be careful, and to fill my nails fully so they don't look grown out in a week. The couple of guys who have done pedicures for me have done a very good job. I find if you're very clear on what you're looking for they usually will do just fine. Okay so! I tried this place for the first time day, just looking for a regular place I can go to & feel comfortable. First of all do not follow the address from google maps or you will end up all the down the 198E almost to the 99. It took me an hour to find this place.. which is actually located on 12th & Lacey Blvd in the same shopping center as Black Bear Diner. I went for a fill, pedi & eyebrow waxing. Don't expect to be in & out quickly, there are 2 guys doing nails & one older lady doing pedicures. The two guys doing nails are great. One of them did my fill which I was happy about, hence the 2 stars.. he also did my pedicure since I had been waiting a while -which wasn't bad, but for $21 could've been better. The worst part was the eyebrow waxing. The same lady doing the pedicures was apparently doing the waxing. She didn't ask me anything about how I wanted my eyebrows & when I tried to explain that I just wanted them cleaned up she kept insisting that she knew what she was doing. She was EXTREMELY rough! I usually get my eyebrows threaded which hurts more than waxing, but this lady was very very rough. She kept moving my face from side to side in a rude way & pushing & pulling the wax strips off way too hard. My eyebrows have never actually hurt & were swollen after getting them done, but this time they did. I wanted to get off the table so bad, I stopped her at one point when she wanted to start tweezing because I had just had enough, but NO she insisted that I needed tweezing. I stopped her another time because she was actually pushing my eyeball inward while trying to push the wax strip down on the wax. Here I am typing this review 4 hours later & my poor eyebrows are still throbbing & I am more than sure there will be some type of bruising in the morning. My experience was horrible. The Nail tech was incompetent. She did not follow the procedures that are normally done during a pedicure and she was reluctant to rectify any of her errors. She even applied oil and lotion on top of the soap and scrub. I had to insist that she washed the sticky scrub off before she applied the lotion and oils. She did not remove the dead skin around the nail beds, and she did not clip the nails evenly. Some nails were longer and some nails were shorter than others. I spoke to the person in charge who refused to have someone else fix the bang up job the nail tech did. They also would not refund me my money. I will never, ever go there again. I should have known better because one of the times I went there, I paid for gel polish but received regular polish. The reason I know this is because when I arrived to get my toes redone, the Polish was easily removed with acetone, whereas when you use gel polish, it has to be removed via a nail file. My advice to you, dear reader, is to find another place where you won't be cheated, short it, or dissatisfied. read more

I've been going to this nail salon for a few years now and overall have had a good experience. There are a few nail techs that I don't feel have very good skills so I generally avoid them and go to my favorites. More recently, there was a different female tech there who I gave a chance, but she did an absolute horrible job and I had to repeatedly stop her throughout process because she clearly wasn't putting in any effort or providing a good service. I had to have another nail tech come over and try to explain to her how to properly clean the nails, which was frustrating. I was so frustrated by the end that I didn't even realize that she gave me a basic pedicure when I requested and was charged for a different package. There were multiple services she failed to provide as part of the package that I paid for. Today, I called to make an appointment so I could see the good nail tech and avoid any other issues. A woman answered the phone, didn't take my name after I told her what time and then attempted to hang up on me while I was still speaking. Before she did, I told her I would like to request a specific technician. Her response was "just come in and tell us who when you get here because I don't know who you want" then she hung up on me. I've truly never been treated so unprofessionally or poorly there before. It seems this place is getting worse and they truly do not care. It's unfortunate because I've been a loyal customer for years and have even sent additional customers their way. I hope they consider treating their customers better. It is true they have great prices...but there is a reason they are so cheap. They were fast and sloppy. I ended up paying more than promised for services they didn't explain clearly. The design on my nails was already chipping along with the false nail itself. But the service isn't the worse part of it. The workers were rude and confusing.
