Lucky Rice was such a let down for us. We got the shrimp lo mein and orange chicken with fried rice. Worst fried rice we've ever had. It looked and tasted more like brown rice. The food portions were huge though but they weren't that good. My shrimp lo mein was super dark, and tasted like they had just mixed a lot of hoisin sauce on it. We also got two egg rolls and they were so bad. It was practically a spring roll because they wasn't any pork in them. Just like two little square pieces of pork. You're better off getting the jack in the box egg rolls. That's how bad they were. I thought it'd be cool to try it out and hoped it would be the usual fast food that serves a bow or plate with 1 or 2 sides and 1 or 2 entres... Nothing like that! This place was horrible. Upon getting my order they forgot my soda (not that big a deal shit happens) But then I opened the bag, the paper bag was soaked in grease. Secondly, the food was very good! I have just relocated to the Dallas area a few months ago, and this restaurant by far has had the best and most authentic Chinese food. I have been going to some Chinese restaurants and when I ask for beef fried rice or pork fried rice they look at me like I am speaking in tongues! In my conclusion, I am a "fat guy" and I ordered one of the daily specials and it was enough food for my wife and myself plus I had leftovers!
