I stood waiting to be acknowledged and was eventually spoken to in a rude, dismissive manner regarding an online appointment. Instead of being helpful or professional, the staff made me feel like I was an inconvenience. Customer service costs nothing, and kindness goes a long way. Unfortunately, neither seemed to be a priority here. With so many salons to choose from, I'll gladly take my business elsewhere. What a joke.

Recently in the last year, I wanted to start getting my nails done at places that were smaller and more personalized, and this is as personalized and private as it gets! When we first walked in, Lucy made us feel very welcomed and at ease. You are the only person there and all the attention is focused on you. Lucy was so accommodating that she let my mom and I come in together and hang out with each other. Lucy is very funny and keeps the conversation going. Her attention to detail is amazing, as I was getting a more complicated design. She has a lot of patience and wanted to get the design just right and make sure I was happy without rushing. You can tell that she really enjoys what she's doing through her work. I already booked my refill with the same nail design even before I left Lucy's place for a refill for for my gel-x tips and design. Although there are nail salons that are much closer to me, driving half an hour is definitely going to be worth it to me each time to get my nails done at Lucy's for more gel-x tips and gel pedicures! If you're looking for a relaxing, private nail place in western mass, Lucy is your girl!

The whole idea of Canyon ranch is for this to be the ultimate spa experience, 100% high-class,…read moretop-shelf. But that is not what I experienced. I only purchased a day pass, which probably costs twice what the experience was actually worth. The best part of the day were the yoga classes. The instructor was very knowledgeable, offered hands-on adjustments, and made the classes challenging. The facial was fine, but not that good; she had me sitting by myself with a sheet mask on for 10 minutes, and didn't even bother to give me a hand or foot massage during that time like most spas would offer. Probably the most disappointing part of the day was the food. For what I paid for the day, everything on the menu should have been EXCELLENT. It was not. Honestly, I wasn't drawn to any of the entrees, so I just ordered a bunch of the appetizers as my meal. They weren't that good, to be honest. The crab cake did not have Maryland crab in it (I'm from Maryland, and that's the only way to make a proper crab cake!), and the tabouleh was just quinoa. You could easily take the money you would spend on a day pass and treat yourself to a facial/massage, yoga class, and nice meal for less money and have a better experience.

Re: Review of my Wellness Guide, Kelty Greene and Tim my reservation agent…read more I just wanted to take a moment to share the wonderful experience I had with my wellness guide, Kelty Greene yesturday. She is one of my guides and we had a very thoughtful conversation about my itinerary. She made some key adjustments that really aligned with my needs and also took time to explain some of the concerns I had. I would absolutely give her a full 5-star rating- way to go, Kelty! Additionally, I had a conversation with Tim couple days ago who was my reservation agent. Tim went above an beyond-he helped me arrange payment for my package, showed a lot of care, and even spoke with his supervisor to ensure my concerns were met. I really felt protected and cared for throughout the whole process. Thank them both for such a fantastic experience. Best Regards, Sue O
