They took their ti e to make sure everything was perfect - from shaping, polishing, and even offered helpful suggestions on colors and styles that would suit me best. The final results exceeded my expectations; I left with my nails looking absolutely flawless. The pedicure was the best I had ever had. My calves had been sore for weeks and after leaving there is no more pain.

Well, I made the horrible mistake to choose convince over the better option and went to pamper while in a hurry just to get my acrylics taken off. I never get acrylics so I am not educated in the processes of them whatsoever. I got in quickly, especially it being Mother's Day and I left quickly after. The man who was doing my nails doesn't speak English as his first language which isn't a problem for me typically, but I didn't understand what he was asking when he said "chip or soak". I thought he said tips or soak so I assumed he was asking if I wanted a new set. I reiterated I wanted my nails taken off and nothing put back on and to trim my natural nails that I had been growing out. He sat me down and immediately started chopping the hard acrylic down to my finger tips- which was really uncomfortable and painful for some of my nails. I have hyperhidrosis which is already embarrassing enough at a nail salon but mixed with the anxiety and pain, it got worse. He looked at me and told me to go wash my hand after the first hand because "your hands are wet". So then I was embarrassed and in pain all at once and I was getting super flustered. He then starts chipping and ripping the hard acrylic off my nails and ripping layers of my natural nails off my fingers WITH HIS OWN FINGER NAILS BEING PUSHED UNDER THE ACRYLIC. that's when I asked if he was just planning on chipping it off my nails and he said yes so I said I'd do that at home I'm which he got an attitude with me and said he had already asked me that which is when I realized he asked chip or soak. Why is ripping the acrylic off someone's nails even an option?? It is so damaging to your nails to remove anything that way let along a chemically bonded acrylic. I tried to pay for my 5 mins of service and they said it was fine. I have never left a nail salon in the middle of my service but I did today. I went to the car bawling my eyes out to my fiance because I was embarrassed and my fingers were sore. He was so upset for me and tried to go back in to talk to them for me but we ended up leaving and buying the supplies to take them off myself. I absolutely will NEVER be going here again. That experience alone will never allow me to even think to recommend this salon to anyone. It was unsanitary, rude, and so unprofessional. I'm sure he was stressed from being busy on Mother's Day but when you google how to remove acrylic, he did the exact opposite of what it says. And on top of all of that, I have to regrow my nails and try to fix the flaking layers now.

He tried to rush through services and the frustration was evident everytime I asked him to slow down and complete my pedicure properly. He skipped over the cuticle softener and went straight to push down the cuticle, while trying to upsell me on other services. I asked for the deep callus remover with a pumice stone as I don't want my feet grated. That seemed to upset him even more where he took the pumice stone and swish-swashed across the bottom top portion of my feet splashing water everywhere like see I did it. I was extremely dissatisfied. Let's start off with me. The technician seemed to get annoyed every I requested for him to scrub a little more. He completely forgot to do my whole left foot with the grater and when I asked him to do it he got upset and only did it for not even a minute. I also asked him repeatedly to remove a hangnail that I have bothering me and he never did after telling him multiple times. Over all he did polish my toes nicely but my feet are still so dry even tho I asked to get Aloe for rehydration. Now to my daughter. She enjoyed her pedicure in the beginning. The technician drilled her nails even tho her nails were bare leaving a bit of a painful mark on her big toe. When it was time for the polishing The technician who did her feet didn't file her nails or even put a base coat on them before polishing. He left polish all over her toes and when she told him about it he tried using his thumb nail to scrape it off (keep in mind this was regular polish). Overall we both felt like everything was rushed and was disappointed with the results. My daughter ended up repolishing her nails her self at home because of how much she disliked it.

Being new to the area and having Nail Tek as my only recommendation I visited the nail salon. I walked-in and asked for a regular manicure and pedicure. I was immediately taken care of by two very nice women. one person did my manicure and the other my pedicure. Both women took their time doing my manicure and pedicure. In the middle of my manicure I discovered they offered gel polish services so I changed my regular nail polish to gel polish. (Initially upon walking into the salon I didn't see any advertisements or signs for gel polish so I just assumed they didn't offer it. Silly me.) Therefore, I was transferred to another nail tech to do my nails with gel polish. I was given the foam flip flops, so I didn't have to walk on the bare floor and from what I saw in their inventory they had several more foam flip flops in stock. My third and final nail tech was very professional and did a great job with my nails. I enjoyed my visit at Nail Tek and feel they did an outstanding job with my nails. In addition to manicures and pedicures this salon also does eyebrow waxing, several women walked-in and got their eyebrows waxed and gave positive compliments upon paying. Not entirely sure of what other services they offer but I'm sure they offer more nail spa treatments. Yes they do make appointments if you prefer not to walk-in. They also have specific nail treatments for men, I read somewhere that all men receive the Deluxe Manicure. The photo of the salon shows blue walls. However the salon must have gone through a recent interior uplift because the salon now has a light pink maybe beige color not entirely of the color but they definitely were not blue. Again the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. They did play music from an ipod/iphone but that didn't really bother me. I may have walked in on a slow day... there was no wait and other employees were sitting in a circle having a conversation while folding towels. Overall, clean nail salon, great customer service, nice people, fair pricing. I paid $50 for basic manicure, pedicure with shellac, and gel polish. Where I'm originally from I would pay on average $65+ for the services I received today.
