I went yesterday and the front desk miscommunicated what I needed done. The lady doing my nails was really upset when I told her that it wasn't just a soak off. She then proceeded to rush through the service. Now I have dip literally all over my fingers. I was too upset to say something when I was there, I just paid and left. I called after to let them know and the unhelpful person on the phone just kept saying "I'm sorry. Come back in." the LAST thing I want is to go back in there. I've been here two times since moving to GA. the first experience was fine, my nails didn't match but that's how it is at a lot of places so I didn't complain and decided to go to tips n toes from here on out. Well, I made the horrible mistake to choose convince over the better option and went to pamper while in a hurry just to get my acrylics taken off. I never get acrylics so I am not educated in the processes of them whatsoever. I got in quickly, especially it being Mother's Day and I left quickly after. The man who was doing my nails doesn't speak English as his first language which isn't a problem for me typically, but I didn't understand what he was asking when he said "chip or soak". I thought he said tips or soak so I assumed he was asking if I wanted a new set. I reiterated I wanted my nails taken off and nothing put back on and to trim my natural nails that I had been growing out. He sat me down and immediately started chopping the hard acrylic down to my finger tips- which was really uncomfortable and painful for some of my nails. I have hyperhidrosis which is already embarrassing enough at a nail salon but mixed with the anxiety and pain, it got worse. He looked at me and told me to go wash my hand after the first hand because "your hands are wet". So then I was embarrassed and in pain all at once and I was getting super flustered. He then starts chipping and ripping the hard acrylic off my nails and ripping layers of my natural nails off my fingers WITH HIS OWN FINGER NAILS BEING PUSHED UNDER THE ACRYLIC. that's when I asked if he was just planning on chipping it off my nails and he said yes so I said I'd do that at home I'm which he got an attitude with me and said he had already asked me that which is when I realized he asked chip or soak. Why is ripping the acrylic off someone's nails even an option?? It is so damaging to your nails to remove anything that way let along a chemically bonded acrylic. I tried to pay for my 5 mins of service and they said it was fine. I have never left a nail salon in the middle of my service but I did today. I went to the car bawling my eyes out to my fiance because I was embarrassed and my fingers were sore. He was so upset for me and tried to go back in to talk to them for me but we ended up leaving and buying the supplies to take them off myself. I absolutely will NEVER be going here again. That experience alone will never allow me to even think to recommend this salon to anyone. It was unsanitary, rude, and so unprofessional. I'm sure he was stressed from being busy on Mother's Day but when you google how to remove acrylic, he did the exact opposite of what it says. And on top of all of that, I have to regrow my nails and try to fix the flaking layers now. read more

It is NEVER okay to take a tool from one customer WHILE IN USE (or any other time) to use on another. However, this is what was done to me yesterday. The nail tech took the drill head off DURING MY SERVICE and gave it to the tech next to him at her request to use on her customer. My drill head was replaced with a larger, coarser one. I was a faithful customer until that event. Prior to yesterday, I recommended this shop to friends and family, and a few of them have gone there on more than one occasion. However, due to this recent incident along with a couple other experiences (related to quality of service/ professionalism), I am deeply regretting my recommendation. I read another review where someone stated they choose quantity over quality. I couldn't agree more. Quality and EQUALITY are EVERYTHING!!! Made an appointment 3 days in advance for May 21st at 12:30. I got here 10 mins early (12:20) and told them I had an appointment for 12:30. By 1:05 still hadn't been sat or even acknowledged. People came after me and got seated before me. I ended up walking out because I didn't want to give my money to people who run 40+ minutes behind for a CONFIRMED APPOINTMENT. I want to commend my nail tech, that service me today on Mother's Day. She saved this review. After 2 coats on a new nail set, it became obvious the nail polish was old. I told her and she expressed she could only put a different polish on top of the clumpy finish. She called over the manager and he actually tried to convince me more coats would smooth out the polish. I simply told him you see what I see. I was not happy about having a promised 3-5 coats of polish would fix the problem, especially since I came in for a new fresh set of nails, which she had completed. However, the tech really recognized the issue for what it was OLD NAIL POLISH. Being a professional as she stated she was, going forward after every stroke of nail polish she used a piece of tissue to clean the clumps from her brush before she put it in for the next stroke of polish. I ended up getting a set I didn't want because the nail tech didn't know how too or didn't have enough time to do my design and I got frustrated and chose a design off Pinterest . I was seen 25 min after my appointments and my nail tech kept leaving to help others . Its really nice inside & im sure it could have been better but if I'm going to pay $80+ for nails WITH an appointment , I rather it be for something I want and actually enjoy the experience. my friend was a walk in THAT SAME DAY AND TIME and was seen before me and was done before me . We scheduled appointments for three manicures a couple days in advance. However, when we arrived the place was busy (it's the Friday of a holiday weekend) and no one was available to provide our services at our scheduled appointment time. We waited 45, 50, and 55 minutes before all three of us started our manicures. My gels came out great, and my sister's French tips were efficiently done. 3 stars for the wait, but would have been 4 or 5 stars if we had been able to start at our scheduled time. read more

Worst pedicure I have ever had. My nail tech that I have been seeing for over 10 years retired and I am searching for a new place. This is NOT it. Asked for a regular pedicure and I literally was in the chair for less than 30 minutes. The girl that did my nails was in a hurry to pick up her kids from school. I didn't notice until I got home that one of my nails wasn't painted at all (I didn't take my glasses with me). It's only been 5 days and on one nail the polish has come completely off and on 2 others it has chipped and is very noticeable. Never again! read more

I went in for a full set & my mom and sister were getting pedicures. The nail techs kept trying to push gel polish on us and proceeded to give us an attitude because we didn't want to get deluxe pedicures or gel polish. They kept asking if I wanted a pedicure after I said all I came in for was a full set. I don't like being pushed to pay for services I do not want or need. We are not ones for confrontation and so we paid, tipped each one 5$ and went on our way. We will not be back. The service was poor and the nail polish was not applied nicely. When I got a full set, the nail tech literally glued some nails on me, applied the acrylic and painted it. It came out messy, my nails are not even lengths, thickness and the cuticle was not cleaned up. I do have two pushes in the nail polish on my thumb and pinky finger that were my fault, but the polish is blotchy and uneven. read more

I'm in Columbus for the week for a defensive tactics training and versus "clipping" my nails per the training instructions I decided I wanted to get them done which would help them not be as sharp. Pamper Nail Bar was located beside my hotel so I decided to stop in. I had the pleasure of Kate doing my nails today. I was originally going to do gel polish, however, she talked me into trying the SNS powder. I'm glad she did. I'd been wanting to try this method for a while and hadn't. I absolutely love them. Kate did a fantastic job with the application and explaining the benefits of SNS vs. gel polish. I didn't catch the receptionist's name but she was an absolute delight as well. If I lived in the area I would definitely continue to have Kate do my nails. Aside from the great service, the nail bar is very nice inside with plenty of tables and chairs for manis or pedis. The entire salon appeared to be very clean. I would definitely recommend Pamper Nail Bar to anyone locally or visiting the area. read more

I go for a gel fill in and color change on my toes. Some how they got manicure out of fill in. I was placed at a Tablr and the a bowl of acetone was brought out and I was told to place my fingers in it. 30 minutes later I was moved to a different table, a gentleman asked what I was getting done and again I said gel fill. He stopped immediately leaving my nails looking terrible. A female worker came over and said she was sorry and said I was going to have to wait another 40 to 45 minutes after already being there for an hour. I was so mad. I would give 0 stars if I could and I've never given a bad review before. While giving me a pedicure she was busy texting and she sat in front of me several minutes before acknowledging me. When using the buffer on my heel she literally made me bleed. When I jumped she tried to tell me I already had that spot on my heel then tried to soak it in alcohol until I said no. When filing my nails she filed them all severely crooked. When I asked her to fix them she filed them even more crooked. Eventually they were getting so short (after I had grown them out for an event this weekend) I asked to file my own nails. After messing up two of my nails, I ask if someone could fix them. She came back to me and started doing my nails wearing the same latex gloves she was just using on someone else's feet!! Gross! The place is nice and my friend's mani pedi went well. We just got the $40 pedicure and when I told the two gentlemen that we only wanted that specific pedicure both proceeded to pressure us to purchase the deluxe. The one doing my nails asked me about three times. And then the man doing my nine-year-old niece his toes totally ignored my answer the adult who said she's getting the same one as me, to then ask my nine-year-old "do YOU want the deluxe you want the pretty colored box?"
