I decided to give this business a try because it has a 4.5-star average rating from over 70 people, so I assumed the experience would be excellent.....it wasn't. I asked for a gel manicure, #589 Princess Pink color, square shaped. I'm satisfied with the color, somewhat satisfied with the shape, but not satisfied with the quality. The total came out to $35 (excluding tip), which I think is cheap for a gel manicure, and I did add a tip as well. The things I didn't like- The polish wasn't applied to my entire nail. I tried to capture different angles so you could see it clearly...but the polish doesn't extend all the way to my cuticle. My nails look as if a week has gone by and they're ready for a fill-in. I don't know if you can tell from the pictures, but you can definitely tell in person. No big deal though, because it's not like someone will be inspecting my nails or looking up close any time soon. I did ask for more polish/for it to be fixed when I noticed it on my left thumb, and she did...but now my thumbs are the only fingers that have the polish applied fully. Typically the manicures I've had come with massage, exfoliating/towel treatment, lotion, etc. The manicures provided here do not. No big deal though, just mentioning that to provide some expectation management for future clients. All in all, it's a clean place with friendly staff. I just personally won't be returning though. read more

They will take walk-ins during your appointment, and hide the glitter gel polish because they only want to give you 2 coats of polish and it's a problem when you ask for more. My lashes didn't last 1 week this time. I give it 4 days at the max! Always spend $100 or more when I come and it seems like the more I come the more rude Sophia and her "sister" become. If you're looking for a chic, clean and friendly place, this is the spot! My overall experience was pretty great! I asked for a spa pedicure and a gel manicure but needed to be done by 1130 (1.5 hours) and they did not disappoint. This place is appointment only so I felt extra elite. They did my nails while I was in the pedicure chair. My manicure is superb! I love how she filed them and how much care she took applying three coats of gel onto my nails. The pedicure was great too! Massage was decent (could have used a bit more pressure but I was being chatty Kathy with all the technicians). The spa pedicure is pretty much the same no matter where you go. Why then am I missing a star for them? For one, the prices are OUTRAGEOUS! For my spa pedi and gel mani. It was $70. Plus I left a $15 tip. So $85 for the service that really could have been done at another more cost effective place. Secondly, my biggest pet peeve for nail salons is the massage chair. I hate when there isn't any lumbar support and there's a gap between the seat and the back portion of the chair. I had to ask for 2 towels just to feel somewhat comfortable. And lastly, my next pet peeve for nail salons is when technicians will have conversations in their own language to each other across the room to another co-worker so I spent the first 30 minutes awkwardly, not knowing if they were asking me something or talking to their co-workers. It was getting frustrating so I just started a friendly conversation with my techs. I figured if I'm talking to them, I don't have to keep asking if they are talking to me. Overall, this is a great place to go if you can dish out the big bucks and want to feel like royalty! But if your looking for just a quality nail, you could probably go to the other 100 nails salons in the area with a much cheaper array of services. read more

I would have never found this nail shop if it wasn't​ for Yelp, the nail shop is hidden so you really have to look for it to find it. Overall​ the nail shop is really nice... It has a laid back vibe to it and it's very modern. Me and my boyfriend decided to get pedicures one day and we wanted to try this spot out. When we walked in we were greeted and seated. We waited for​ about 5 mins and we were called back to the ​pedicure chairs. Both of our pedicures turn out really nice. The only reason I'm​ giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because....... lol I hate to say it but they don't use the Callus shaver.. aka the cheese grater... I'm a new mama, and was looking forward to getting a nice quality pedicure. I thought I got the basic pedicure ($20) and I would say that's what I received but they rang me up for I believe the deluxe ($30) I was in the chair for 25 mins, and it looks like I could be due for another pedicure soon. The paint was already smudged and I'm kicking myself for not being more observant. I was relaxed, so I didn't notice how little my toes were cut/filed. If you go here, be sure to be observant and insistent on what you want. I may go back, but I'm not happy with the state of my nails. I got these done at 2 pm, not even 24 hours later. It's a shame... I am from California and have not had a pedicure since March. Nearly 7 months ago. While I was hear visiting family I decided to step out of my comfort zone and get a pedi. My niece recommended Apsara so I made an appointment. An appointment is necessary the sign on the door said "no walk ins". I walked in to a nicely lit nail salon. There were 2 other customers at nail stations and I was the only customer getting a pedicure. The salon was clean, the staff was polite. I was welcomed immediately, sat for maybe 3 minutes and was taken to a chair. During this time of Covid and all the reservations about public spaces I was a bit hesitant. Everything was great. Absolutely love this place! It's by appointment only and there's no waiting time. The place is very clean, spacious and doesn't have any smell of nails' related materials. Jessie was incredibly attentive, asking all the right questions a long the way: is the shape okay, am I hurting you at all, Is the color what you wanted, etc. On top of this, she was incredibly meticulous, with an eye for detail. I didn't feel as though she was in a rush, and it shows in the final product. The finish isn't too thick, it looks very natural, my shape is beautiful, no pressure on my cuticles at all, and the finish is perfect. I enjoyed our conversation and felt very welcome and at ease, which is a big deal for me since I almost always feel uncomfortable when getting a manicure. I love Aspara nails. They do a quality job and guarantee their nail services for two weeks; if you break, chip, scratch, etc. before then just call and they'll fix it for free. I only took a star off because they do charge extra for things like coffin shaping your nails without telling you ahead of time. The staff was very friendly and I was unsure of what I wanted so they helped me pick a perfect polish. For my manicure, my nails weren't prepped besides with the drill. They didn't push or cut my cuticles. For both of our pedicures, they took a big amount of time but felt rushed at the same time. Went here on a whim while looking for a new nail salon in Columbus. Needless to say I had been less than impressed with other places around town. Without an appointment, which they usually prefer, I was immediately taken back for my mani/pedi. The technicians were very attentive and it has been without a doubt the best pedicure I've ever gotten. Worst pedicure and full set ever ! So I've been going to star nails for years but they were closed on Sun and i was going on vacation, i chose this place based on the decor being nice . But the person who did my feet was super timid and did not cut any cuticles and it was $30 then i asked it my toes were dry and the woman stated yes they should be but once i left the shop and got in the car and looked down all of the paint on the big toe was off. Then my full set was uneven and lumpy. the workers argued about who was going to take me , that is horrible customer service . I will just stick with star nails from now on. read more

This seems to be a VERY NEW salon tot he local market. There was not A/C, bare walls and minimal seating outside of the nail tech areas and pedicure chairs. There were only two service providers and they were both booked. I had to make an appointment to come back another day. Will consider returning in a few months when they get it together. Phillip is my nail tech and I LOVE him! He started doing my nails a little over a year ago when I was pregnant. I wanted to really start growing my natural nails out. Within a month under his care my nails were the longest and strongest they have ever been. I'm so amazed with how beautiful my natural nails are now. He cares so much about his clients and most importantly, he takes his time on my nails. I get compliments on my nails weekly and I am SO proud of them. This nail salon does *appointments only* and it's so each tech can take the full time needed on each clients nail needs.
