If you're looking for a nail salon, I would recommend Jenny Nails in the plaza behind this salon or Pamper Nail Bar on Whittlesey instead. I came in for a simple acrylic removal and, before the service even started, I clearly explained that I did not want to soak my nails in acetone and that I wanted to preserve the length and health of my natural nails. If that wasn't a service they could provide, I wish they had been honest from the beginning so I could have gone somewhere else. Instead, the nail technician immediately began aggressively filing my nails with the e-file on a very high speed while speaking about me in Vietnamese throughout the service. Then the owner/manager came over and insisted that keeping my natural nails wasn't possible without soaking them in acetone. That's simply not true. I've had acrylics removed this way many times before. It takes more patience, but it absolutely can be done. If your salon isn't willing or able to perform the service I requested, tell the customer before you start removing layers of their natural nails--not after the damage has already been done. For the technician and manager: acrylic nails can be removed without acetone using careful filing, warm soapy water, cuticle oil, and patience. The key is gentle filing to avoid thinning or damaging the natural nail. Gentle filing--not immediately turning the e-file to its highest speed and aggressively filing away at someone's natural nails. I left disappointed, frustrated, and with thinner nails than I specifically asked to avoid. I won't be returning.

Not a very welcome environment. Edit: The customer service was the worst. I was insulted for not wanting to get my eyebrows done and told that I needed to get them done now because of how bad they look. My nail tech had no interest in me or taking the time to do a decent job. My fingers ache today and burn from all the cuts on my cuticles. The clear coat is starting to bubble already. Taking that extra star off my rating and I will be making an appointment with Apsara today to fix this mess.

Didn't get the nails right from the reference I gave him and even then there isn't enough color on one nail. The glue from the gems he put on; left a noticeable line on the nail. After he finished my nails he got up, left, and forgot to even put cuticle oil on my nails. There's pieces of acrylic underneath my nails and overall It looks rushed. I don't know his name at all, but if I did I would've listed it.

We noticed that anytime one of the staff left the salon the first thing they did was wash their hands along with a new greeting. They were all very accommodating with t he TV & volume. They were reassuring and generous with their time. I highly recommend this small, locally owned and operated business. I'll continue to go there myself as well as recommending y other friends to go. However, once I sat down for my pedicure, things quickly went downhill. I walked in around 3:00 PM, and despite arriving before several other customers, at least four or five people came and went before my toes were even finished. It took nearly two hours just to complete a pedicure. Communication was also a major issue. Every time I tried to explain what I wanted, the staff acted as though they already knew, but the final result was nothing like what I requested. I asked for French tips on my toes, but instead the entire nail was painted. The acrylic application was poorly done, the shape was incorrect, and no one even asked what nail shape I preferred before starting the service. The pricing was even more frustrating. I was charged $155 for short nails, plus an additional $30 in surcharges that were never clearly explained. When I asked about the extra charges, I felt like I was being brushed off instead of getting a straightforward answer. What makes this experience even more disappointing is that I drove all the way from the other side of town specifically to visit this salon. To pay nearly $200 and still not receive what I asked for is unacceptable. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. Customers deserve clear communication, transparency in pricing, and services that match what they request.
