Came here for St. Patrick day and while waiting for a late dinner birthday party at a nearby restaurant. It's a very local and nice place. It wasn't crowded but definitely have their own crowd of customers and a few travelers. The two man live music band playing Irish songs are awesome. The bartender are friendly and gave me green color water to celebrate the occasion! They gave a good amount of wine for my friend so the portions are pretty decent for the price. What's St. Patrick's day without Guinness right? The Guinness was good. If you want to go somewhere local, not too crowded and enjoy live music, I would recommend this place for a change of your usual downtown hipster bars/pubs. When to watch a soccer game on a Saturday slightly busy, but had more than enough room definitely family friendly a shared parking lot bathrooms were very clean. We tried the cheese sticks which were cooked well and we had two orders of wings. It was evening time on St Patrick's Day in Orlando and we started looking for some genuinely Irish bars and Lucky Leprechaun popped up in the search result. Located in a strip mall, it first feels really weird to park you car in a dark parking lot. Things started to look upbeat once we got to the door as the sound of sweet Irish music was just emanating for this place. There was a small stage setup to the right of the entrance where a few of the Irish girls were doing some Irish dancing. To the left were a lot of round tables where people were having a great time drinking Guinness and watching the entertainment. Since there was no space left for us to sit, we walked straight to the bar and were lucky enough to get two seats at the bar right away. Here is how I rate my experience: Cleanliness: because this place was a pub, the cleanliness was acceptable Decoration: lots of green and Irish stuff all over the walls. Kinda felt divey sometimes. Service: really good and fast. We were pleasantly surprised that the whole waitstaff was very friendly and smiling on the busiest day of all Speed of food delivery: very fast. Our two orders came within 10 minutes of ordering. Quality of food: Pretty good. We got the traditional Irish stew and Corned Beef & Cabbage. The food was seasoned right and had a lot of flavor. The Corned Beef had some extra fat that cut have been cut off. We had a nice time at Lucky Leprechaun and will be back again. read more

Buried right in the middle of Orlando I found this gem. A real Irish Pub. I just sort of stumbled upon The Lucky Leprechaun while hunting for some grub. It's lit with green lights from the outside and dimly lit on the inside. Some tables inside, 3 pool tables, and a nice long bar to the right. I felt like I was in Ireland when I walked inside. 3 of the patrons here were even Irish (I love Irish accents). I ordered the Shepard's pie and a Harp. I don't think the food was made fresh, but it was decent. I've never had Shepard's pie before, so I have nothing to compare it to. After dinner, I decided to have a Murphy's Stout. My partner and I are on a dedicated pub crawl searching for the proper pour of Guinness. Tucked behind the Buffalo Wild Wings is a rough cut emerald bar called the Lucky Leprechaun. Now the afternoon that we decided to stop in was on a popular Irish holiday in March. We were fortunate enough to share the bar with a fantastic group from Belfast. Now the Guinness is of course proper. The atmosphere is simple, but authentic. If you want a bit less tourist in your cup, this is the place to be. After spending the entire day in Islands of Adventure, we were going to have dinner at the Bob Marley restaurant in Citywalk. But we were told the wait was an hour long. TOO LONG! So we searched and found Lucky Leprechaun. Boy was I glad we did! This place was very casual and relaxed. The bartender came and sat down with us as he took our order. They had a good selection of beer and an ok menu. Admittedly, the food was nothing spectacular but the same bartender cooked it and brought us everything. The place was pretty big and had three people working at all times. We were never short on drinks or food. 95% of the customers were Irish. This was a really fun and cool place. I went with the sole purpose of watching a soccer game. Thankfully, that's all I wanted. This place is clearly an old establishment on I-drive (which Is not bad), however, it really shows. It has a tacky feel to it. Very old decor, faded flags and pictures, smells extremely musty. I was told that there was no food to be served yet (it was lunch time on a Saturday). I can only assume the staff had a late night the night before. They all seemed half asleep and uninterested. They then came around and appeared to start their nightly cleaning. Sweeping and mopping which is not what you want to see as a customer at that time of day. These things should be done. I cannot speak of the Irish servers I have read about in other reviews as the people I dealt with appeared to have Turkish accents(?). Anyway. I won't be rushing back there for any reason. I gave 2 stars because they actually had the soccer on the TV when asked. read more

Hands down one of the best Irish pubs I've been to ... There's nothing particularly special about this place: the decor is nothing special and the beer selection is decent but not amazing, but I really felt welcome in this bar. My friends and I showed up on St. Pat's in the afternoon for a few pints and found ourselves surrounded by Irish of all ages. Families are welcome and there were several children running about, which was actually kind of nice. It gave the place a "home" feeling. I'm not sure if they do it everyday, but there was some Irish folk and rock playing in the background at a decent level. Great music if you're into it (which we are). My friend had the corned beef with cabbage and new potatoes and he swears it was the best he's ever had. Defintely a great place to spend St. Pat's, or to just grab a pint or two. read more

Quite possibly the most "authentic" Irish pub I've been to. If it were buried, say, in some neighborhood somewhere instead of in the middle of Disney country, it'd be 5 out of 5. While visiting Orlando the other day, both my husband and I were craving fish and chips and we noticed the HUGE sign for Lucky's on International Drive. We walked into this dark and dank place. Sat down at the bar and the bartender never asked us if we wanted anything to eat, so we just assumed that this hole in the wall didn't serve food (I just found out from reading the previous reviews that they do!). I ordered a beer, a Stella and my husband ordered a ginger ale. The beer was soooo flat and the ginger ale was served in a can! The bartender had no personality what so ever!
