    Egg drop soup
    Shannon W.

Delicious. We've been looking for someplace that has ham egg fu young with gravy. We use to get it from a place that's been gone for a long time. So when we saw that they had it here we had to give it a try. And it is very close to the same. It is delicious. Everything else we tried was pretty good as well. We will definitely be eating here again. The only thing I managed to get a picture of was the egg drop soup. We were so hungry that when the rest of our food came out. We just ate it up.

I'm very familiar with the food served here as the head chef used to work for the magic wok. My dish was hot and served very fast, so that's pleasing. The food isn't salty or spicy, so that should suit most everyone. The seating area has a few booths and several tables. The staff are very nice kids. So, like I said, if you were a fan of the magic wok from back in the day, you'll probably like Lucky Chen.

I went in on Tues afternoon. I just did a to go order, but you can call ahead or also order through doordash. The girl at the front was very kind! It was my first time and recommended to me by a friend so I took some time looking at the menu and she was diligentin her phone calls until I was ready to order. I ultimately got Dinner #4 - this meal is said to be enough for two people and it's $25, I think this can be good for 3 people at the very least! Even my teenage son didn't finish it with me and my boy can EAT! we also got an order of Orange chicken which was about $15. The food was great! The orange chicken was sweet and had no kick to it, but it was crispy, so for that I'm giving it a thumbs up! The Lo mein was AMAZING packed w flavor and the ham fried rice also TOP NOTCH! Sweet n sour pork was the usual you would find anywhere, but what I appreciated was that they gave you the sauce separately, so that you can control the amt you want AND it didn't get soggy on the drive home. I have to add something i noticed on the dinner meal that I ordered, if you dine in, you get soup & tea with it. Sadly, I missed out on that! Overall a great place! I'm giving it 4 stars because they didn't have pon pon chicken

We have ordered food from this place a couple of times, the food is ok, nothing spectacular but is the closest place home where I can get chicken lo main and sesame chicken for my teenage kids. Well today I go get out order and my daughter serves her self some lo main and finds a long black hair tingled up on her noodles. This was the very last time we order food from Lucky Chen!

Orange battered chicken, sweet and sour chicken (gross) fried rice and one sad spring roll.

The food was okay. I had the orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken. The sweet and sour chicken was inedible. The orange chicken was good but it consisted mostly of fried batter. There was barely any chicken. The place was curly decorated. However the staff was bazar. Our waitress was sad af. The other waiter was wearing a beanie and was wayy to much. Fried ride was a 4/10. My boyfriend really liked it but for the price I would rather of went to panda. It's a good place if you're drunk and need a good take out or delivery. Otherwise.... not the best. Table was really sticky.

three take out boxes on a table

Very small portion sizes. I spent $70 for 4 small portions. I was supposed to get 2 ham fried rice but only got one. I called and they told me they put both in one container. Why? look how small it is. If you order 2 orders, You should get 2 orders Very disappointed!

Christmas Eve it was only place open. We asked if they were open. At the counter there was 2 Asian girls & 1 Caucasian. They said for takeout only. No biggie. I asked the Caucasian manager if they would let us feed our baby inside. The manager promptly said yes and was very kind. She told us to take our time. We ordered sesame chicken and Kung pow chicken. Both which was very good flavors. Good amount of food. The place is modest but clean. What you would expect for a typical Chinese place. The reason for only three stars is when I asked if there was silverware inside the Asian girl said no. And when she brought me the two forks I requested she only gave me 2 napkins. Like literally 2 napkins. I didn't say anything because I had wipes in my baby bag but That's really odd. Why would you not provide silverware & adequate napkins when preparing takeout? maybe she was the owners daughter? So they were trying to save paper cost? Thankfully I asked, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to eat our food. And what if I was taking this to work? Think about it this way the reason I'm paying for take out even if I'm eating at home is because I don't want to wash dishes. There was also only one tiny takeout box of rice. Rice is cheap... The way they prepared to take out in a brown bag stapled they did that really well. Nothing fell over and it felt very secure. With a couple of adjustments I would come back to this place.

The look of the restaurant inside has changed a few times. when I was there last there was a casual seating area at the back of the restaurant. There were people there waiting for takeout orders. I really enjoyed the great chow mein with the beef. Next time I might try it with chicken or pork because the beef was a little hard to chew for my liking. The noodles tasted delicious and flavorful. I always have to order the cold cucumber salad. It is a great accompaniment to any dish. I added the peanuts to the cucumbers because I really like them together so if you order the cucumbers, they will not come with peanuts. It is a strange request, but they accommodated me with no problem. They had a case at the front of the restaurant with grapes and strawberries, skewered and coated in a crunchy sugary coating. It was a little bit messy, but I did not mind because it tasted so good. The strawberries were super sweet, fresh and juicy with a thin, sweet crunchy shell. I will try the grapes next time. Thank you for the delicious food

We ordered: Fried rice - the corn in the fried rice tasted almost spoiled Beef brocoli - the beef was tender but not as tasty or fresh Garlic ribs - cut into small portions was not what I expected and a little dry Only great was the service and those fruit on a stick in the glass counter. For starters, we ordered the Wor Wonton Soup. The broth was rich and hearty. The shrimps were large and plentiful. All the vegetables blended in with the flavors. I just wish the beef was a little more tender. A little marinade in baking soda would fix this. We ordered some chicken lettuce wraps. This has minced chicken, celery, bamboo shoots, and carrots. These are good by themselves but are best with hoisin sauce. I just wish the lettuce leaves were bigger. The Honey Walnut Shrimp was also good. The sauce had a nice blend of mayo, honey and lemon. It had a little too much breading for me but still tasted good. For $16.99, I wished there was a bit more shrimp. One thing I really appreciate - they GLAZE the walnuts! This is one of the few places that I actually like the sauce and they glaze the walnuts! The Crispy Beef is definitely my favorite. In fact, I think this is better than the one I get from Red Maple. It was not too sweet and had just the right amount of heat. Again, I really wish they would marinate the beef in baking soda to soften it up. The last dish we ordered was the Garlic Chicken. The server forgot to put the order in for this dish and there was a rush to get it out to us. They forgot to put garlic in this dish so wee sent it back. It was perfect when it came back. This place is fast becoming our go-to-place for Chinese Food. It's was a nice surprise and I'll can't wait to try the other dishes!

The chicken tenders were actually better than I expected. The breading they used (which seems to be the same as what they use on the deep fried sushi) went really well with the chicken. The sushi I'd say was a solid 3.5 stars out of 5. The size of the rolls I felt were a little larger than normal (judging based on the fact my wife and I couldn't finish four rolls, when normally we are ready for more after that). The portions of fish were generous and the rice was nice and fluffy (though so fluffy that some of the rolls fell apart fairly easily). There was one deep fried roll with avocado, shrimp, and cream cheese that was way too plain. It didn't taste bad, but wasn't good enough to force myself to finish the roll. One interesting note was the wasabi they used. I've never seen wasabi that was this light pale color and more "watery" than typical wasabi. It was also far spicier, which is a good thing. The service was also SUPER friendly. The waitress was super attentive, and the sushi chef actually came out and talked to us for a bit . I'm definetly interested in coming back to try a few other rolls and try some of their other food offerings

The hostess was kind, though very soft-spoken and a bit hard to hear. I did appreciate that she noticed we had kids and thoughtfully set our table with kid-friendly plates and bowls, which was a nice touch. We ordered a variety of items to get a good feel for the menu. I was especially excited to share this experience with my husband, but overall, he wasn't a fan of several of the dishes. That said, there were definitely some highlights. My kids and I really enjoyed the ham fried rice, beef and broccoli, and the chicken dumplings--those were all flavorful and satisfying. The spicy wontons, however, were disappointing. The sauce tasted mostly like oil and water, lacking the flavor I expected. I did mention it to our server, who was very understanding. She offered a replacement and ended up removing it from our check, which I appreciated. Overall, while there were a few dishes we liked and would recommend, the experience as a whole didn't quite hit the mark for us. We likely won't be returning.

Beef rolls is the sophisticated auntie of the scallion pancake. Think of it like an asian burrito with thin sliced beef, fresh scallion and cilantro, and a touch of hoisin all hugged together with a crispy tasty scallion pancake. The shredded potato tastes like the best potato salad that isn't your picnic potato salad. The shredded potatoes were quickly blanched then stir fried preserving the crunch and crispness similar to al dente pasta. Seasoning was on point. The homiest flavor came from the stewed short rib. The rib pieces were braised in a soy and star anise sauce like what you find in Taiwanese beef noodle soup. The peels potatoes were cut rustically and just cooked through and not mushy. Authentic flavors and freshness like this is so so hard to come by. I can taste the quality of the ingredients used. One tip I have for selecting authentic food is by looking at the customers.
