So yummy and full of flavor. Chow Mein
Kat P.

On the way home to so cal and got hungry. We stumbled upon this hidden gem. Incredible food! Do not be deterred by the outside when you pull up!!! I am Filipino and have had Chinese food all my life and damn this was the best I've had in a really long time. And so reasonably priced. Great service. Might be family owned. We gotta keep eating local and support this small business!!!

Kung Pao Chicken (Lunch) with Chow Mein and an egg roll

Such a hidden in the wall place! The staff was super friendly and super open to give us recommendations as well as answer all our questions. We made a pit stop to eat and this place did not disappoint. I got a combination plate with kung pao chicken that came with a side of rice or noodles and I of course choose noodles. It also came with a fried wonton and an egg roll. The portions were really big and super filling couldn't finish it in one sitting but everything was super delicious!

Please! Don't let this restaurant's plain appearance deter you. The food is impeccable. Fresher than fresh, flavors are rich, deep and complex while also being warm and inviting and satisfying. Truly outstanding in every way. Unsurpassed quality of ingredients...the vegetables are so fresh that I'm sure they are picked each morning. Wonderfully large portions that would easily make two or more meals....but the food is so good that you can't stop eating. We drive from Paso Robles twice or more per month -- only to eat here! Begging them to move to or open a second location in Paso. Family is sweet and friendly. An absolute jewel and a must-have foodie's destination. Just FYI... They're closed on Saturdays.

Great customer service and the food is always great. Will modify orders for vegetarians if you ask. Egg rolls do get soggy when you're ordering to go but they are amazing if you eat them in person.

Garlic pork and veggies with a fried wonton, egg roll, and egg drop soup. Yummy.

Garlic pork lunch special with jasmine tea. Excellent value and wonderful food. We were on the road, headed back to the Santa Barbara area when we became peckish and needed a late lunch. Did some research on our phone and hopped off 101 and into downtown. At about 2pm, my coworker and I were the only two 'eat-in' customers (although a few folks came in to pick up their takeaway orders). We both had lunch specials and tea; with a generous tip for our friendly and attentive wait-person, this very tasty meal cost us just $20 apiece. This an unassuming hole-in-the-wall kind of place; not real fancy, but great food. Highly recommended. (JamesC-- Elite in my own mind).

Half Chow Mein half Fried Rice combination with egg roll

Easy to order through the website and by phone. Pick up order is always ready to go on time. They are very generous with the food.

Chow fun, not good at all

Really disappointed with their food the last few times I've been here. Their Chow fun noodles used to be so delicious and flavorful, now they're super bland and all the noodles were stuck together. The garlic chicken was 90% veggies, hardly any chicken. I don't think I'll ever go back here again.

Hong Kong noodles with beef and chicken

We had wonderful service even though we caught them close to closing time. They were very friendly and courteous. Prompt delivery and excellent food. I am very picky about Chinese food and I was very impressed. Their portion sizes are huge and well worth the price. Hubby got beef chow mein and I got the Hong Kong noodles with beef and chicken neither one of us could finish it in one sitting. The pictures are actually our leftovers.

Sampler plate: 6/10 crab rangoons snd chicken satay were the best part

This restaurant is a manifestation of everything I love about Chinese restaurants. If it were in…read morethe bayarea, it would have been my monthly haunt. *Ambiance : is not spectacular, it's well maintained and clean though. They have a lot of plastic and plush toys behind the counter and some shockingly pink artificial orchids on each table top. *Food: this is where I went weak in my knees after sampling the spread in front of me. Such simple yet mind bogglingly delicious food! If it were not for the large amount of grease across the dishes, I would have rated this as my favorite Chinese restaurant in the bayarea. We got chicken fried rice, chicken chow mein, Mongolian chicken and chicken with green beans. Fried rice was moist and umami rich. The noodles had a thick delicious sauce coating them. The green beans were addictively crunchy. The chicken was soft and flavorful. I reached my happy place after this meal.

The flavors were solid especially with the sides in the dinner plate meal. This place offers variety of both traditional and western style Chinese food for the familiar comfort of Chinese cuisine no matter your experience with it. From image: The wonton soup itself was an absolute behemoth packed with enough food for two.

I was working in Greenfield and was craving Chinese. This place seems to be the only option, lol!…read moreDefinitely hole in the wall vibe which i don't mind at all. After speaking with the lady there, I found out they've been at the same location for 20 years! Any food place that can last 20 years is doing something right. Now to the food! I did their 3 item combo with chow mein which was about 15 bucks after tax. I chose broccolli beef, salt and pepper chicken something (I forgot what they called it), and fried shrimp. Huge portion overall, my box weighed at least 2 pounds! Chow mein was above average with more flavor than panda express. Broccolli beef was average to above average. Fried shrimp was just as you would expect from a buffet. Not bad, not amazing. The real star to me was that salty, peppery, jalapeño chicken dish. That's the one that makes me wanna come back. This place isn't gonna blow you away, but the food is flavorful, and comes at a great value which really means a little more nowadays! Considering the cost, i'd recommend this place to satisfy your chinese food craving

Let me formally apologize as it appears I may have posted a review for Panda Express to this…read morerestaurant in error and gave them a 1-star review. I no longer see that review on my history so I am assuming that Yelp corrected that oversight as i referenced a drive thru that does not exist at this restaurant but does exist at Panda Express in Soledad. Having gotten that out of the way, now let me accurately review this location. Admittedly I have acquired take-out from this location on several occasions over the past 5 years. To be fair, the food was average and not really having anything so positive or so negative to say I never bothered to submit a review. But I will correct that now for better or worse. The location is in a shopping mall so parking options are generous. The restaurant itself is not opulent nor trashy but just simple and adequate. Seating options are okay though if they were more popular I think they would need to address a better layout for seating. Every interaction I have had with staff has always been pleasant. As I noted above the food is okay. And to be fare, if you check my Panda Express review I revised today to correct the mistake I made. They are heads and shoulders above Panda Express. Their Chow Mein tastes and looks like I would expect (unlike Panda). Their meatballs are okay and the other dishes average. I have tried most of what they offer and nothing was so off-putting that I need to provide details, while nothing so amazing that it warranted being called out. Simply stated, if you are not interested in cooking one night, they offer options that are decent; though if I were so inclined I feel I might cook those options better but they just save me the time. Not intended to sound or be critical. Just an honest opinion and hope it helps. Sorry again if my post intended for Panda Express caused any issues but I no longer can find that original review so hopefully this more accurately captures your restaurant.
