I had the Breakfast Burrito - "The One Pounder" with eggs, bacon, sausage, onions, jalapeños, hash browns, cheddar cheese, (Pico de gallo, green onions, and salsa on the side). I declined the queso and the sour cream. This was, hands down HUGE!! Everything was distributed nicely throughout, but I have to comment on the pico. Being from Texas, I am a bit of a pico snob. Let me tell you, this was homestyle pico +100! It's the bomb!! The jalapeños were diced small, and I definitely tasted a hint of garlic in there. For non-spicy people, one of the things they avoid with jalapeños is that the pieces are too big, and the burn overrides being able to taste the flavor of the food. This was great to add flavor to each bite, without the overbearing quality of the pepper. Amazing, and great. My love had the Tenderloin Tips and Eggs. Her is her review: Eggs (fried) were wonderful, with a hint of sweetness we could not define. Southern style grits buttery and smooth, and the tenderloins seasoned wonderfully and delicious!

We hate crowds more though and some days We just didn't want to rush. We ate here multiple x because it was right in our hotel. Was the food as great as The Toasted Yolk? nope Was it good enough to start a slow morning yep!! The servings are big, the food while nothing fancy is adequate to start your day, the place is not crowded and in a tourist town that's a plus right there. My favorite was just a simple fruit plate with yogurt and granola. Don't forget the Moscato:) The grits were good too!! Hubbie got the biscuits and gravy with sausage and my son pancakes. We also ate supper there one night I got the mushroom burger sans bun , my hubbie the catfish platter, and my son the Philly cheesesteak. The waitresses were nice and worked hard. Would I come again yes! Would I make a special trip here no! If you are staying at the Palace though and don't want to traipse to places for breakfast or Supper. Give this place a chance ! But they are a bit anal about you sitting the proper way -saw them get on a guy cause he moved his chair . It's not that serious Stacked . Otherwise it's a good enough place to eat a standard, filling breakfast

It is no longer there but we were introduced to Cadillac. They have a courtyard that screams spruce me up and get dog people in here! Our waiter was a true gem. The cook was new but it didn't impact the service or food. The plating wasn't as "fancy" as we would have expected and we all know presentation is so easy and very needed. My suggestions; power wash your courtyard furniture, plane some flowers in your containers, hand some ferns and you're going to draw the right kind of crowd. Dog people love a place fir food, drinks and their fur babies. Boudin Balls snd SW chicken egg rolls were fantastic. There is a large parking lot located on 1 side of the restaurant offering ample parking. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. We were met by the hostess upon entering and decided to dine inside. She eventually took our order once we were ready and the food came out shortly later. I ordered a classic omelet with hashbrowns. The omelet consisted of 8 eggs. Wow!!! It was fluffy and tasted light. It took me about 30 minutes to consume all of it. Btw, Alyssa seemed impressed that I had. Even the person at the register was more matter of fact than friendly. After I ordered, the chicken for the sandwiches was then hand pulled from a smoked chicken leg, and another piece. I couldn't tell what it was, then chopped. Never seen this method of pulled chicken. Unfortunately, the chicken was a bit overly smoky and dry. I bit into a large bone fragment that was in my sandwich. I tossed it and didn't / couldn't finish my sandwich. Also, we were given two small cups of barbecue sauce for three sandwiches, which was kind of weird but speaks to that customer service and training part. The sides were really the best part, the baked beans and Brussels sprouts were quite good. The beans had a quality smokiness and sweetness to them. The Brussels sprouts were earthy and seasoned quite well. The banana pudding was off the charts. I definitely want to give this place another try but will wait a few weeks.
