I dined here on Saturday August 24th at 5PM. We were a party of four and had a great time. I ate at the Brossard location a few weeks ago and wasn't too impressed, however this time it was a real game changer. The restaurant was pretty empty at that time, I prefer eating early since I dislike crowds and enjoy a more quiet atmosphere. If you don't have a reservation you can easily find a table before 6PM. We were greeted right away, service was prompt and friendly. Our group tried two types of appetizers, the fried calamari and kentucky style fried chicken. Both were delicious, fresh, left us wanting more. I found the portion was pretty small compared to the price, for $19 the calamari was just enough for 2 people, not meant to share with a whole table unless you only get 1 or 2 bites each. Our main meals were 3 different types of steak, one opted for a large rib eye, a new york strip and filet mignon, and one person had the salmon. We upgraded sides to the cheesy mashed potatoes and sweet potato fries. In all we were very impressed with the food, the flavor, cook and portions for the main meals were excellent. Steaks were cooked to perfection and well seasoned - this was entirely different compared to our last experience at the Lucille's in Dix 30. The servers took time to refill our water and clean the tables in between meals, change our cultery too. I could tell there was a particular attention to us. I think it makes a huge difference when you are basically the only table in the restaurant at that time. This a great place to enjoy quality food if you like seafood or steak in particular - the atmosphere is modern, there's lots of place to sit both indoor or outdoors and the service was top notch. I would come back for a special occasion, I felt very satisfied with the whole experience. read more

I've been to Lucille's at Fairview a couple of times before. There were some things they had to work on. However, this time they got five stars. I skipped the $1 oysters, which are never that good. I had the Clam Chowder and the Sea Bass. The Clam Chowder was excellent! There wasn't too much cream, so the flavour came through. The Sea Bass had a great tasting rub. The place wasn't too busy, so the server had time to check-in. The ambience was fine, just as usual. I will be back! read more

I love this place. There serve nice and fresh seafood and quality dry aged steak. However I ordered a medium rare steak and another guest ordered a rare and they were almost exactly the same. I enjoy eating steak quite a lot so I didn't really care. Staff were nice and the lighting was chill. Would recommend. read more

Another wonderful evening at Lucille's! Reservation for 7 on a busy Saturday, but the manager was able to find us a better table after he saw my less-than-enthused face (original table was right beside the bathroom). For the rest of the evening, the service was impeccable, well above average, and the food and drinks were on-point and delicious. 4 of us ordered filet mignon, all with different cooks, and they all came out perfect. The menu has changed slightly since our last visit (no clam chowder and no lobster tails to add to a steak) but we found some great alternatives like the Thai scallops. At no time did we lack for anything, as service was anticipatory and so very friendly. All in all, a fabulous experience! NOTE: the only thing I would point out as a minor negative is that they did not have any gluten-free bread, which would have been perfect for the celiac-sufferer in our group. read more

I've dined there twice this year, a few months apart. Tasty food, generous portions. Kind, considerate greetings and service. Decent room light. Squeaky-clean dining spaces and loos. Five stars for those aspects. Now, the bad news. The dollar oysters on the half-shell are why I chose the place. Ordered a dozen, both times. They were fresh, tasty, and perfectly wholesome. But they're not training their shuckers properly. I had to loosen almost all of the meats from their bottom shells to be able to slide them into my gaping maw. Both visits. With my fork. And most of them were sprawled cocked on their beds of ice in a manner that made their liquor spill. This ain't how to serve oysters half-shell. Management needs to get on the stick and fix these lacunae. With formal training. I'll likely try their NDG location at some point to see if their expertise is any different. But I won't be going back to this one to eat oysters until I hear they've schooled their shuckers. Damed things should just slide down my throat without my having to worry them with an improvised tool. read more

Wow is the word that comes to my mind when I am reflecting on our dining experience at Lucille's. The service was amazing, the food was out of this world and the ambiance was alive what could you ask for more? Pro-tip, ask for Lindsay and trust all her recommendations when it comes to food if this is your first visit or simply don't want to waste time reading the menu. The only thing that I must mention is the noise level but I am not deducting a star for that as it was our surrounding noises from other tables, some people forgot the indoor voices. read more

While the seafood is great, literally best hot crab dip ever!, this place should be known as a steakhouse. I have friends who rave about the octopus salad, but I can't not order the rib steak, literally as good as any steak I've had and I'm a steak connoisseur. I never would have thought pickles would be the perfect touch on a Caesar salad, but it's a must try. Get reservations, as they are frequently much busier than their neighborhood steakhouses. The staff is great, and I love the atmosphere. Great place for a date or a business dinner. I'm from out of town and it's one of the places we all recommend to each other. read more

I was tricked into thinking that this restaurant is a steakhouse with it aging beef showcased at the entrance. I ordered medium-well and got rare. And please, what is with the frozen shoestring fries. If I wanted frozen fries, I would go to McDonald's. I would expect more from such a Restaurant. The waitress dropped off my plate and completely disappeared. No effort was made to ask if we needed anything. Thankfully, the manager was experienced and efficient. The manager gets 9 out of 10 .
