I'm a sucker for mom and pop Pizzerias and Lucian's Pizza is a new obsession. I was highly impressed and satisfied. I called in my order on my way home and was met with fast and friendly service. The pizzeria itself is a clean and welcoming establishment with modern lights and decor. For the price and the quality of ingredients received, Lucian's is a neighborhood gem. I ordered the Bbq Chicken Pizza - Pro Tip: order it Well-Done. The marriage of savory chicken, subtle sweetness of bbq sauce and the sharpness of red onions and salty bacon make for a delicious pizza. The slight char on the crust and undercarriage is a must. This is an awesome local spot. The prices have always been fantastic. My family always gets one of the family packs, and last time I went I noticed their lunch special which also looks like a great deal. Also, their WINGS. Personally for me, this pizza spot holds the title for best chicken wings! The chicken wings here are 10/10 not dry, and not super saucy!! The employees are super nice as well, great service. This is a takeout spot only, so no dine-in and a tip I recommended is definitely call to order before you get there! MY HUSBAND AND I GOT SALMONELLA FOOD POISONING FROM THIS RESTAURANT! Not even 4-5 hours after eating from here, I had severe nausea/vomitting and diarrhea. What the.... Happened to this place? Once they transferred ownership or whatever, it's.. s**t Every topping on my supreme pizza was obviously from a bag of frozen vegetables. The sausage was obviously from a bag of frozen pizza sausage. I got the mozzarella sticks as well and it was probably the worst store bought mozzarella sticks I've ever had annnnd!!! The marinara sauce!!??? Literally canned crushed tomatoes with no seasoning or marinara to it. And the mozzarella sticks cost me like 12 bucks for frozen Dollar tree quality? With dollar tree canned tomatoes? I had to pay and extra dollar just to get a little ranch. Used to be a great place for pizza, fresh cut veg, fresh meat toppings, great prices . Pizza makes a great, fun meal! We ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza with their cheese bread. The dough of the pizza is soft and airy, the cheese stays hot and gooey, and the pepperonis are crisp. Their cheese bread has a nice flavor that is buttery (and cheesy). These two were just $20! It's affordable and delicious! Maybe even better than the big name pizza businesses, we love to support small businesses :) The restaurant itself is well kept and clean, their hospitality is great! Got convinced after I was IG trying to figure out what iced coffee to order from Dulce Canella and I saw a post they did supporting Lucian's Pizza's grand re-opening after a fresh remodeling ! (mind you this was my second sign to go in and order a pizza & I really couldn't ignore the signs any longer I decided to go there first and then order my coffee to kill some pizza-making time so I walked to their door and before I even had a chance to open it I could a l r e a d y smell that güd gūd ‍ = right away I noticed the place was spotless which is always such a green flag to try a place. The staff member was really nice and when she told me my already large pizza (mushroom x pepperoni 1/2 supreme) was ONLY going to be $15 AND it was gonna be about 10 minutes??? Only thing that could've made that interaction any better would have been winning the lottery tbh bc it was a pretty great feeling. So I head over to get coffee literally 2 feet away and by the time I get it and walk back inside Lucian's Pizza was about 7ish minutes? (they were very fast too ) literally sat down at one of the benches inside Lucian's (thank you for thisss) and waited a few more minutes and BAM my pizza was out ‍ All this typing and I haven't even told you about the taste! This is my first time at this establishment. I called in my order and a man with a accent help me. He took my order and was able to answer my questions. He also recommended to order on line. So as I arrived this definitely a mom and pop. Came in and notice it was up to covid prodicol. A young man asked what I like to order I told him I did a call in. He was a little of quiet rather new maybe. The proprietor was very friendly the man with a strong accent. Good size pizzas about 14 inches. And it look great the toppings and it tasted great. The crust is perfectly crisp, the sauce is flavorful, and the toppings are always fresh and generrouuuss. They're menus has amazing options and they're having deals. Called 3 times and all 3 times no one ever answered (pictures attached). Tried calling ahead of time to order a specific special & when I got here they tell me they can't make it because they don't make breadsticks after 8pm. Well if they would've answered when I called they could've made my breadsticks with the special I wanted. Also when I arrived the lobby was empty and the 2 employees were already cleaning at 8:15pm but hours are stated they open until 9pm. He gave me the wrong pizzas and I didn't realize until I got home when I returned them I asked if he could prioritize my order since I had already waited 20 minutes for my pizzas, he said it wasn't his mistake to fix?? Then he tried to charge me for the wrong pizzas in addition to the ones I originally ordered!! I got my money back and left the pizzas and he put them back on the shelf to give them to someone else. Lucian's pizza is a humble pizzeria with moderately good pizza. They provide a good amount of toppings, but are light on marinara sauce. The breading is one of my favorites. I recommend a side of Marinara for a dollar more. They serve quickly and have friendly staff. I was pleased with the order of Buffalo wings. They are not spicy but a good size for the price. Their wings are definitely delicious, but their pizza is not the best, you will definitely not get your moneys worth. They offer no napkins or paper plates, and it costs 3.00 dollars for any side that you want, their customer service is horrible and very rude. ( young!) We had ordered a supreme pizza and got pepperoni, sausage with mushrooms and olives -_- really? Hardly any cheese or sauce and the pizza didn't taste fully cooked. This large takeout special could feed 3-4, and if you do order this special it's either cheese or pepperoni. We placed an order for pick up and we're told 10 minutes. We got there in 13. Went to pay for the order and the guy who took our payment said 5 minutes. He rudely ignore all questions and walked toward the back. He came back after a few minutes and shoved the boxes pizza on the counter. He told him that we had ordered the pizza extra crispy since it had bacon , he snatched it back, and shoved it back into the oven. When we asked for his name he said "why". The pizza here is great! But the wings are terrible. On top of them being terrible, We ordered a family deal which comes with a large pepperoni pizza, wings, and a 2 liter. Apparently the wings in the family deal don't come with ranch (I've never gotten wings where the ranch wasn't included) but if you buy the wings by themselves they DO come with ranch. Put that extra $1.75 on the cost of the family deal and give me the ranch if you need the money so bad but don't just expect me to know that ranch is included only sometimes. read more
