I have been to 50% of the stores in this plaza and never noticed Brooklynz until a hockey parent suggested it as a post practice dinner. Reviews were phenomenal & I'm thinking about the pizza now. It is 7am. Crust is wonderfully crunchy and the perfect amount of sauce and good quality toppings. Nice foldability and a sturdy thin crust. $26 for a full Bronx (pepperoni, sausage, & meatballs) with 8 giant slices gets my two thumbs up. Definitely going to try the by the slice so I can see if Bronx reigns supreme.

Im not really a pizza lover, however this place will be my second Pizza place! Why second? Because it's too far from my place but if ever in the area and craving pizza this is a place to go!! Yelpers and pizza lover in the area, this place is a MUST try to go. The crust is thin and crispy there will be a crunch to it.. Really a Brooklyn pizza not in New York but in Artesia!!!

Stay away from this place! I decided to try this place based on reviews but it was a let down. I ordered a Manhattan pizza that comes with bell peppers, mushrooms, onion etc... when I got home I and opened the box they had very little toppings. I called to let them know and she told me that everything was expensive. It's like they counted the amount of toppings. See picture.

My husband really wanted pizza so we gave this place a try. It's located in the same parking lot as Stater Bros and Chase Bank. There's plenty of parking, but I can see it being very zoo'd out if its really busy. This place is deceptively big - There's a lot of booths and tables to choose from. Order your food at the cashier and they bring it to you. My husband wanted pizza, so he got two slices along with a drink combo. He got a white pizza and a pepperoni pizza. Both were very oily - like oil was dripping off each slice. I blotted it with napkins to cut back on the fat. I tried a bite of the white pizza and didn't think much of it. The cheese was rubbery and kind of squeaked when I was chewing. I didn't like it. My husband wasn't impressed either. He said that it was too oily and very flavorful. Maybe it was the time of day we went? We did go in the late afternoon. This place was clean and the staff was friendly, but this time around the pizza just wasn't good.

Mashrum pizza is one of my weaknesses. I like it by the slice and served immediately. So this place checks all the boxes. Hope they will offer a mashrum pizza without peperoni in the future.

Pretty pretty good pizza. Got the pepperoni and mushroom pizza plus a large Caesar salad. Total was $33 not including tax. Ingredients were fresh. The sauce was not too salty. Definitely will be back.

Our friend flew in and he wanted something quick & easy. We found this place near our place and decided to check it out. We got pepperoni & veggies pizzas. The pizzas are tasty and the service is quick! I like how non-greasy the pizzas are. We came right before closing time and they gave us some extra slices (for free!) so they don't go to waste. Check this place out!

Solid thin crust pizza! If you want a New York style pie, this is probably the closest you will get in the general area. Love that they have pizza by the spice even late in the evening, which is rare. Service was very good too. There was just one person there, so probably gets a little hectic as he was taking our order while trying to get a pizza ready for pick up. Not his fault, but was kinda obvious. Non the less, was helpful and didn't try to rush us. The pizza itself was pretty good. Love the crunchy edges, but I prefer a chewier dough and the sauce and toppings were a little light. True to the NY slice, but somehow the flavors in NY and other places on the west side of LA just pop more. Definitely a must try if you are in the area.

The pizza was fantastic but terrible customer service. Would still come back for the food despite that.

Their crust is very, very good! I felt the toppings are a bit late, but I'm giving them a four star due to their excellent crust.

Thunderbolt Pizza in Long Beach has become my go-to pizzeria. After trying a wide range of their…read moremenu, two dishes stand out above the rest: the Pizza Margherita and the Garlic Knots. Pizza Margherita - 5/5. This is a perfect example of the care and craft that go into their food. The crust strikes a rare balance - it has that signature leopard-spotted char and slight floppiness you'd expect from a Neapolitan-style pizza, but also delivers the chewiness and airy structure of a great New York-style slice. It never tips too far into being overly crispy or dry. What really sets it apart, though, is the sauce. While many pizzerias treat sauce as an afterthought, Thunderbolt clearly does not. Their tomato sauce is rich, vibrant, and juicy, with a depth of flavor that avoids being overly acidic, salty, or tannic. It enhances the pizza beautifully without overshadowing the dough, which is exactly how it should be. Garlic Knots - 5/5. - Easily some of the best I've had anywhere in LA. These are essentially bread rolls with a super chewy interior and a thin, lightly crusty exterior, served alongside their excellent marinara sauce. They're incredibly satisfying and consistently a crowd favorite. I've brought visitors from Japan, Germany, and New York, and every single one of them couldn't stop talking about these knots. My only small critique is that I wish they had used fresh garlic instead of canned, which would have taken them to an even higher level. Still, even as they are, they're outstanding. Overall, Thunderbolt Pizza delivers thoughtful, high-quality food that stands out in a crowded pizza scene. It's the kind of place you keep coming back to--not just because it's good, but because it's consistently memorable.

We ordered a half and half pizza online for pickup and spent over $30 for pizza and a 4oz container of ranch. They told us it would be about 20min when we ordered so we got ready and left. We got there probably 15min after we ordered and grabbed two cokes while we waited. I tried to pay with cash and was told he might not have change to give me. I said that was ok even though it's pretty lame that you don't keep change in your register. He happened to find a very large coin bag and made me change. We were sitting right at the front and you couldn't miss us. They asked us a few times what our name for the order was and we told them the same thing every time. Finally after about 10 min they asked us for the 3rd time what our name was and then walked away. We could hear someone say "the order for Kymmy didn't leave they are here" or something along those lines. We kind of just looked at each other. The guy that rang us up came over and said, "sorry something happened to your pizza it'll be another 20min or so". At this point we had already been waiting about 15 min for the pizza. So we said ok because we were starving. One of the employees asked us if we drank wine we said no we didn't and that's why we were drinking cokes. He said, "ohh, okayyyy..." and gave us a very judgmental look. Like sir, you don't know why we aren't drinking. We also kind of figured he wanted to give us a few beverage for the mix up. But that was the end of it. We heard someone say our name and we asked if ours was ready and one girl acted like we were being impatient while waiting. Like we didn't just wait over a half hour for food. Finally our pizza was done after a total of 40 min and there was very minimal apology for the delay. We took it back to our hotel and we were so excited it smelled so amazing and it looked so good. I cannot tell you how disappointed we were when we took our first few bites. It was not that great. We had ordered pepperoni and the veggie pizza. We ate half of it because we were starving and very quickly regretted it. It made both of us super sick on top of everything else Needless to say we won't be back here and won't be recommending this place either
