During my initial call to this company. The receptionist, who I am assuming is Luciana was extremely rude. I wanted a quote on a home I moved out of and provided a description of the work which included miscellaneous papers, and debris from the big move out and she mentioned she would need to put a hold on my credit card and take a deposit (which was not a problem) but I did mention that was odd. She responded, "Its actually not odd" and made several other comments. I personally have worked with many cleaning services and none have ever had a requirement outside of retaining a credit card on file. She then told me to "get a quote from another company" and hung up on me. I would stay far away from this company! read more

Please beware! Crew apparently was skimming off our paper towel supply every visit and we wonder if anything else was removed. We used Luciana Cleaning Services for about a year. We were largely satisfied with the service - we usually had two women come who were very efficient. Business like and not super friendly. Superficially cleaned well. We went from every other week to weekly cleaning. The rate was competitive. What I didn't appreciate was that the crew could change and the owner didn't always tell me. Sometimes we wouldn't know when they would come. Owner confirmed the day before by text 75% of the time. Then, one day, we actually witnessed one of the new ladies whisper to the other one and stick one of our new rolls of paper towels still in plastic into her bag and they left without saying goodbye. I don't think they realized this was witnessed. All of a sudden, we understood why each time after they came, we were out of paper towels. Like we'd have a full roll before the cleaning, and then it was just gone. We thought they just used a lot of paper towels in the cleaning process. But no. They were stealing them! The house hasn't been properly cleaned in years.  I say this as the only cleaner.  I say this knowing full well that cleaning for me is just above tooth extraction.  Seriously.  So when others come in and do a stellar job?  That's what these reviews are for.  Great customer service and a great job and no complaints.   We had this moving service.  They did a good enough job but our estimate was too low, so we paid the highest estimate even though cupboards, whole rooms were left untouched.  I felt guilty.  My husband felt guilty.  I won't spare the details.   Anyway Luciana came in and did a beautiful job.  The house looks great and and her crew were professional and quick.  When I can afford it, I will hire her and her group again. Side note: She came a second time to address some landlord issues and cleaned the stuff AGAIN free of charge!! It was part of her guarantee! Awesome service. read more

I was moving out of my apartment and I retained this cleaning service to clean the apartment after it was empty. They did not do a thorough job and I would not retain them again. I had to ask them to redo some of the cleaning because they either had not cleaned it at all (e.g. sweeping the patio even though I had reminded them to do so that morning) or they had cleaned poorly (inside of the oven and inside of the drawers in the bathroom). Also, they ask you to provide your own paper towels which os a bit unusual for a cleaning service in my experience.. Only one of the two women spoke any English which made communicating difficult. The other woman who spoke English acted as if she didn't want to be there. Overall, they were not thorough. read more

They clean every nook and cranny (even cleaned out my couch cushions) and leave the bathroom spotless. My dogs also love them :) It's such a treat to come home to a clean house after a long workweek. Since my last review, I have used Luciana's for another deep clean and touch ups, especially during my maternity leave. They continue to impress. Always courteous, professional, friendly (but I've also been able to get work done in my home office while they are there). My dog still loves them. They are trustworthy (I've been able to just leave the code to the lockbox when I'm running late). I just contact them as needed, and never feel pressured to use them more often than I ask (which was a problem with another service in the past). We will continue to use them as needed. read more

They cleaned my apartment back in 2013, when work was go-live overloading, holidays approaching, and I just didn't have the energy. They did everything wonderfully, I didn't have pets at the time, so I left them my key to enter and their check, along with a thank you note. Closets were cleaned, bathroom cabinets were spotless, kitchen was sparkling, laundry folded, bedrooms dusted, the works. I hired Luciana for a move-in clean. I can't believe what a poor job the staff did. I asked that all the cabinets and shelves be cleaned inside and out. This is the point of a more expensive move-in clean. There was dust, scuff marks and dirt still inside all of the cabinets, the refrigerator, the top of the shelves. I don't know what they charged me for and what they did for 2 and a half hours. I paid the staff because they were waiting outside. After I quickly discovered there was no real work done, I called Luciana. It was clear just using a Clorox wipe on some of the cabinets and some elbow grease took the marks off. The staff came back and supposedly fixed it while I was working. While unpacking boxes, there was still dust on some of the very top of shelves. Quite disappointing as I was hoping to like the service and use them in the new house. NO WAY! read more

Their service quality can only be ranked 1-star compared to my regular cleaning service. Their working attitude is even worse, though their cleaning speed can be ranked 5-star. A "BIG" house in their word can be cleaned in 2.5 hrs with charge of $170. My 4 bed room house has regular cleaning service in the passing 8 years and my cleaning lady is on vacation. So I called Luciana simply because of their high rank on yelp. Two ladies came and one told their boss Luciana that my house is "BIG". After negotiating with Luciana on phone, I agreed to pay $170 for their advertised "5 star" service, which is more than my regular pay to my cleaning lady. When I came home after work, I was told that the two ladies finished the cleaning of my "BIG" house in just 2.5 hours. BIG speed! Then it is not surprise for me to find so many dusty spots not being cleaned at all, e.g. fireplace, TV stands, plant stand... I give a low rate because I wish Luciana Cleaning Service could improve their service, especially the service quality vs the price they offer or at least could be more consistent on their service quality. Horrible cleaning and customer service. I hired them to deep clean before moving in. They arrived half an hour late and spent half the time arguing and yelling at each other. When they finished cleaning, the oven was still black, the dishwasher wasn't touched and toilets weren't cleaned properly either. I gently asked them to please go over it. Maria started yelling and screaming that I was too picky. She wiped her finger on the oven to prove a point. Chunks of black easily came up. She still refused to take responsibility. Worst of all they broke my custom blinds and insisted they were already broken. They were not. I tried to resolve my issues directly with the the company but they won't return my calls.
