Tomato soup paired perfectly with the rich grilled cheese. The apple scone was sweet and fresh. Of course I took Rockland's best fudgey brownie home along with a chocolate chip rye cookie and the rest of my scone. The service is always great and it feels good to be remembered by the staff and owner! It feels personal and endearing. The atmosphere has remained friendly and it was so good to see other people enjoying their goodies as much as I. They also do meal deliveries so you won't have to miss them too bad! I look forward to my next visit and keeping my fingers crossed for more days open in the future!

Shelves are well stocked as are the reach in coolers stocked with grab and go take out items. PRICES are reasonable considering the quality. I picked up freshly ground chuck for $7.99/lb which is just slightly more expensive than mega supermarket chains with questionable sell-by dates. PANTRY items weave in and out, beckoning to take them home. (I DID). SYSTEMS are really great. after your selection at the butcher, they assign you a basket # so you can shop with both hands free. This is a well organized order and pick up system; if you need fresh meats, head to the back, past the enormous freezer selection of ravioli, manicotti, and other Italian specialties.
