Today I went in wanting the weekly aldi finds a macrame swing and it wasn't there i asked someone who worked there and they got the manager who went above and beyond and found the last one for me. I am so excited read more

Oh my god how awful! Like an odd lots junk stores. Little to no perishable items. No rhyme or reason to the layout of the store or item placement. My sisters in other states mentioned Aldi is now everywhere and their main place to shop so we stopped in and were terribly disappointed! read more

Can't beat Aldi for rock bottom prices on food basics. I watch especially for great deals on canned goods, organic produce, meats, and specialty snacks (edamame hummus!). Bring a quarter for the cart, your own reusable shopping bags, and prepare to save money inside! The Stony Point location is situated in the bottom of a hill, next to a tractor supply store. It's a working class and honest neighborhood. The staff is hard-working, bustling, and efficient. On a visit this Sunday afternoon, I saw a manager pitching in and busily restocking the freezer department. The aisles were clean and wide. The sale selection was brimming with after holiday possibilities. I picked up some lime tortilla chips, dressing, olives, deli meat ($1.64 for 14 ozs of free range chicken on special!) carrots, cheddar cheese and some Aldi brand diet soda. When it came time to check out, a senior employee was training a first timer and they were both unflaggingly cheerful. Way to go Aldi for creating a positive atmosphere. Will definitely shop here again. read more

This is one of my favorite grocery stores! Aldi has a vast selection of groceries that are affordable, full of variety and fresh. A lot of the snacks/cookies/crackers/cereals are German knockoffs of American favorites and they taste just as good if not better! The vegetable and fruit aisle is pretty decent - they don't have much variety though so it's just the staple greens like green beans, asparagus etc. The fruit is usually apples, pineapples and berries. As for the meat selection - it is beyond affordable and fresh. You can get huge packs of chicken breasts for around $10 and they have grass fed ground beef that is excellent for making burgers. Lastly- the frozen aisle contains lots of fresh seafood and tasty desserts. I highly recommend you shop here to save money and walk out with a lot more groceries than the competitors! read more

You can get some good buys at Aldi. The fact remains that this location is in a more affluent area than it should be. If a Trader Joe's was here, it would fare better than Aldi. They promote heavily discounted gallons of milk at this location to lure you in. Sometimes they will deeply discount items like bread and dairy that are approaching their "sell by date". I don't see this store surviving, they should have placed it in an area where people need basic food items at a lower price. Had this store landed in a different part of Rockland County,it would be doing better. read more

ALDI - people shopping in a grocery store - Grocery Near Me - Stony Point, New York

This is a great place to buy basics. Mostly non brand brands that have the real brand packaging. The prices on what they have are great and the selection is not huge but ample. I must say some of the off brands scare me but for basics, chicken, cheese, chips and candy everything i have tried has been great. They sell bags and for some reason the cashiers are required to sit down. It is what it is, a place to save money. Does not take credit cards, cash or debit only. read more

Aldi has been slowly raising prices: 24 Spring water $2.59 to $3.19, Mixed Nuts $12.99 to $13.99, Baking Soda $.49 to $.69, etc. Not as competitive as is used to be! read more

Where else can you walk out of a grocery store with 5 bags of quality food for under $30 dollars? I've saved hundreds of dollars. Wonderful. read more

I have found ALDI to be excellent! Though their selections are more limited and the store isn't polished in appearance, their products are fresh, high quality and most are about 40% less than other supermarkets! The employees are exceptionally helpful, and I was amazed by the extent to which the manager went out of his way to assist!! I have no need to spend so much more at other supermarkets for often inferior products; ALDI has become my supermarket of choice! read more

Whenever I go to this store there is never a cashier at the checkout and have to wait 5-10 minutes. I have complained a couple of time but nothing never changes read more

I am new to Aldi all I can say is I love Aldi. Sure some of the items are off brands but they have brand name items too. I have tried alot of there items and haven't noticed any difference between them and name brands. The staff has been wonderful I have noticed how they keep up with the customers and try to move the line when it gets bussy. I have no problems with the cashiers having chairs I have worked retail and think Its awful to force somebody to stand for hours when there is no need. Thank you for the great service. read more

If you are gluten free this store has a gluten free line called Live G Free. The prices are a fraction of what you pay in a grocery or health food store, and the quality is really good. It's worth checking out. read more

I've been in this Aldi store a handful of times. Most Aldi stores are neat and organized. This store must be understaffed. A bag of rice had broken and spilled into one of the register lines and customers were having to walk through the mess to check out. It was quite some time before the cashier was able to close her register so the mess could be cleaned up. In the pineapple display, there were rotted pineapples in the bin. I've also seen dented cans in the canned good displays. On a positive note, I did buy some oranges that were on sale and they were very tasty. read more

Have shopped in Aldi in Europe. Clean stores, excellent produce and flowers. This Aldi is filthy. Flies all over the produce (raspberries filled with dead bugs). Threw everything in the garbage. What a dissapointment. read more
