We had hail damage on our home and needed the roof (including solar panel removal and reinstallation), window beading, and gutters replaced. The overall quality of the work done was great! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The public adjuster that they use had terrible communication.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]For a while, I wasn't getting a response from the PA when I called so I eventually started communicating by email only to document everything.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I also spoke with our insurance company because of the lack of progress on our home repairs and the insurance said that the PA had not been responsive with them either.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The only time the PA would start communicating is when I started bugging him and I had to reach out multiple times.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]If it weren't for the PA forgetting about us and not communicating and getting things done, we could have gotten our home fixed quicker than 7 months.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I'm very frustrated that we weren't able to do Christmas lights last year because it was up in the air if work on the roof was going to be done or not.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It ended up not happening so we could have done the lights. 2. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The entire process was a major headache.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Between having to work with the insurance sending us multiple checks (part of the multiple checks was because the PA kept asking for more and more money so they would send additional checks out of frustration per my conversation with the insurance company), and writing multiple "final" payments instead of doing it all at once, and the checks from insurance were made out to my husband and I so the bank wouldn't let LR deposit checks. We had to deposit the checks, write another check, and mail it out to LR multiple times. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, between the insurance company, the PA, LR, and our bank - it was a TON of unnecessary back-and-forth for 7 months because of the LR's process.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My recommendation is to get the PA in-line with everything or find a new one and improve the process so it doesn't have so much unnecessary back-and-forth. After thinking on this for several months and communicating with our neighbors that had the same things happen to them with LR, I don't think I will use LR again for future hail damage and other major home repairs. read more

They ask for a commitment for your whole deductible upfront, without understanding what the insurance company will cover or pay for. I needed to change the roof of my house and paint the outdoor walls. LR Contracting came to me soliciting at the right time. Because of this, I was afraid they were a scam, I even told Pilot that I would destroy him on social media if they were a fraud. I can happily say that I am very satisfied with their work. LR Consulting was great from the beginning, they took care of everything with the insurance, increasing the payment that the insurance gave to be able to cover everything that needed to be repaired. I think they are a little bit more expensive than contracting everything separately, but the fact that you don't have to deal with anybody besides them is totally worth it. Angel came and helped me to pick up the color of the roof based on the colors I was going to paint the house, they even offer to get the permits with the HOA. The painters were very professional, Bismar supervised his people and communicated with me all the time making sure their work was on time and with good quality, Donald and Francisco kept taking pictures and sending them to me while I was away in meetings to make sure I was satisfied. There were some of the wood of the house walls that needed to be replaced and Bismar went to the other side of the city to get it because Home Depot and Lowes did not have the right replacement, so he had to go to a specialized store. At the beginning of the process, I had to call their main number to get updates while I was getting the permits and the front desk person knew about my case and right away the person that was in charge of my project called me back. When I was not sure about doing the project with them, Pilot offered to rescind my contract without any consequences, and actually, he did. Lots of promises made with zero delivery on any of them to date. Hail damage to roof, siding and outside structures. Sent a guy over to look at siding for measurements and quote and he had no idea what he was there for, no idea what the damage was, etc. even though my insurance already paid the claim for it! Repeated messages about them providing supplements to my insurance adjuster, only to find out the adjuster hasn't received ANYTHING from LR. Working on 2 months now with no action. We used LR Contracting for an insurance claim on our house. They replaced the shake roof with the specific roof our HOA requires, painted the exterior of our house, replaced 16 windows (sublet to another co.), replaced/repaired the outside deck, and repaired drywall issues inside the house. We ended up having to reschedule several times because of winter weather, but the second the weather was acceptable to do work outside, they were on it. All work was done well, the job foreman came on site every day they were on the job to make sure everything was going well. The office took care of all insurance/mortgage company paperwork efficiently. All in all, we are extremely happy with their work and working with them. LR Contracting did an Insurance claim for us that included new roof, gutters and downspouts, skylight work, siding repair, exterior paint and fence power washing and staining. From the beginning, they led us in the right direction in hiring a Public Adjuster who made sure that the Insurance paid us everything we were due. This process took many months to complete, but it was totally worth every minute because we got all that work done and only paid our Insurance deductible. Jake was the project manager who did an outstanding job with visits to our house at least once or twice per day to ensure that the workers did the job correctly, efficiently and kept the area clean. Jake and all the workers were extremely polite, respectful and responsive to any concerns we had during the whole process. They were respectful of the fact that we have a dog and made sure the gate was closed at all times and they cleaned up the area every day. When the job was finished, Jake did a walk through with us and even pointed out things to the workers that we had not noticed and made sure they fixed it. In summary, this company has it all together. Very thorough, responsive to customer demands, respectful and polite. They have a can-do attitude and go above and beyond to make sure we are 100% satisfied with the work. They even made it a point to tell us that even if we notice anything at a later time to let them know. We plan on using this company to do extensive remodeling of our home.
