If there were a rating of zero, I would have checked that. I received a quote with some information about the size of product specified, the material, aluminum, with a number/price. I called and requested a breakdown listing of linear feet, price per linear foot and labor. I was told that they do not supply that information because it may leak to a competitor and/or be used for price comparison , in other words, they do not trust potential customers to handle the information! Mile High Gutters installed our new gutters in July. The gutters weren't installed straightly and we brought this issue to attention and they blamed it on the house. I have old photos of our old gutters and they were much nicely installed than the new ones. The fascia must been rotted in one area and the company severely damaged it without offering or advising how we can fix it. The soffit is also very bent now and out of portion along with the gutters. After the job they left lots of metal shavings, nails and trash that I had to pick up (a bucket full) afterwards so my kids don't step in them. They were in a huge rush because of a storm coming up, a supervisor never came out to check how the employees did the job. I'm just still generally very unhappy how it was done and how it looks. read more

They were quick in responding, but otherwise I did not have a good experience. I told them directly what I wanted but their estimate did not include everything I requested and did include things I did not request and told them I did not want. One part of the bid was even for work I am already having done by someone else (and I told them that). The total price, as best as I could tell, was about 7x higher than the simple 2-part work I requested. Hopefully this review can save others time. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this company. They came out to put in new gutters and explained what they were doing and why. Two years out, I had some issues and they came out the day I called to take a look. They explained what was going on (an issue with the flashing - a roof issue) but did what they could to prevent the problem. When a roofer came out to take a look, they told me it was a gutter problem so I called Mile High and they came out right away and looked again, took video and explained what was happening and what they thought would help. They gave me a referral to another roofing company (Troost). Troost was really helpful as well. Mile High Gutter goes above and beyond. Our down spots were loose and coming away from our house. Mile High was very responsive, Ken came out within a couple of days to do an estimate and had it fixed the following week for a very fair price. We ended up getting thicker/wider downspouts and they did a great job securing the new spout to our home. Def will use them again. read more

A couple of weeks later we realized we were still having a small leaking problem at the edge of our roof. We called, and Dan came out the same day and fixed the problem at no extra charge. First off hands down the reason I went with Mile High is that Ken Schultz was the person that was the first point of contact to get an estimate. He took his time going over the current gutters and making suggestions for improvements. Ken is highly experienced in this trade and I felt super comfortable dealing with him. He also met the install crew on site the day of the project to go over the job. I also liked the two guys who came out to do the actual installation work. One thing that was important to me was to get he hangers into the rafter tails not just the facia. The second thing they did after getting measurements was to mark all of the rafter tails. The installation team did had a couple of downspouts that I wanted done a little differently and it was easy simply talk with Ken and arrange that as well. How a company deals with any issues that come up on a job is very important to me as well. read more

I noticed that one of my gutter downspouts screws had worked itself out from the house. I called Mile High and spoke to Brenda and advised her of the issue. Brenda told me that the warranty was valid for three years. Well this company is the template of customer service. The repair was made within two hours of my phone call to Brenda! Our experience with Mile High Gutter was less than stellar. The problem seems to be with the office and sales side of the business vs. the install teams. We knew that we would want to coordinate with our house painters to get the house painted while the gutters were removed and I specifically asked Mike about this during the estimate. He assured me that it would not be a problem. We ultimately selected MHG and sent them the contract via on May 20th along with a request for some possible install dates to pass on to our painters for availability. I got a reply thanking us for choosing MHG, but no mention about dates other than they were about 6 weeks out on installs. I heard nothing for over a week and sent another email on June 1st to ask again. Still nothing, so I sent yet another email on June 13th, this time I CCd Mike, our estimator to see if that might help. I finally got a phone call from Mike and had to coordinate with our painters to settle on a date to install, mind you this is nearly 4 weeks after I initially asked for potential dates. I had also asked Mike for a color sample for our painter to match the gutter color on the house trim. It took another three weeks and multiple emails to get that and it only showed up 6 days prior to the install date. Due to the apparent lack of communication in the office at MHG we had to have the gutters removed on July 14th and our painter was (understandably) unable to completely rearrange their schedule to start on the 14th after the gutters were removed. We had told MHG that we would talk to the painters and see if they were able to finish and have the gutters reinstalled on the 16th. We got an email at 8:01 in the morning on the 15th (painting day) asking if the painters would be done that day. We responded 92 minutes later after conferring with the painters to tell them that we would have to have them come back on the 20th - as we had previously coordinated as a possible back-up day. All good, right. Well, Monday morning, we got a phone call that I couldn't take, followed immediately by a rather unprofessional email asking us to confirm that the house was ready for their crew to show up the next morning. I was confused. I double checked the email to make sure that our original confirmation that we sent them on the 15th went through and it did. The two stars are only on the review due to the install crew that seems to have done a decent job. The gutters look good and I assume there are no leaks, but we will have to evaluate that after the next big rain. So, in summary, the product appears to be of good quality, but it might be a headache trying to get any info from MHG or trying to coordinate with another contractor. read more

Having an issue with the house and not sure if it's a gutter or siding problem. Called Mile Hi on Monday morning, spoke to person who took my info and said someone would get back to me in 24 hours. Not hearing from anyone by Tuesday afternoon, I called back and was told Mile High would leave another message on the estimators desk and he would get back to me in a couple of days. I had them remove my old plastic gutters and install new aluminum gutters. The guy they had do the estimate was very experienced and proposed a new design to evenly distribute water load in certain heavy areas and recommend rain chains instead of downspouts for light areas. The entire removal and installation took just 6 hours and they were very clean, I didn't find any debris when they left. read more

I'm always suspicious and cynical with re: to home services I have no experience with (plumbing, electrical, etc.), and so it's helpful to find a company to partner with on these kinds of projects that will a) provide patient customer service b) who takes pride/ownership in their work, and so will follow up with concerns even after the job is "done". MHSG hit the bullseye for us on both counts. We would highly recommend them. Gutter work must be a really tough business, low margins, etc. and yet Dena and Ken and their installers were patient and went the extra mile to help us feel happy with our expenditure. Called Mile High, along with many other gutter companies to request a quote, and Mile High was one of few to call me back and set up a time for the quote. After they came , it was only two and a half weeks until they were able to put the gutters on. Our crew consisted of two people, Damien being the lead, and they were both very courteous. I had to add something from my original bid, and usually companies want to charge a premium for any additional work, but Mile High didn't worry about it. The gutters were hung to drain well,and if the gutter dropped below the flashing extra flashing was added, and the tip ups are very nice. I would (if I could) take a 1/2 star off for screws left on the street. An investment of a magnet (like roofers have) to pick up nails/screws would be good. read more

We had our gutters done this week, and I have to say that they did an excellent job. They worked on the gutters while my husband and I were at work and when we got home, we were so impressed with their work. They were professional and also called me with suggestions. We worked with Nick, Dan, and Brenda and they were all outstanding professionals. We would recommend Mile High Gutters to anyone and everyone. Prior to having our gutters replaced, Dan did an assessment and recommended that we consider having our soffit and facia replaced. This was prior to that last 2016 big snow in Denver. Sure enough, after that snow came, we could clearly see that this was the very last winter for our soffit/facia. Dan recommended a contractor - Lee from LB's Painting and Repair. We are so thankful. Lee did an awesome job and his team really cared about the outcome. He pointed out that the soffit over the garage desperately needed additional support. His recommendation made complete sense, as the roof had started to bow over the garage. It's surprising that this was not something that was noticed in our home inspection, prior to purchasing our house in October. Our roof is now even-leveled and safe. Lee's pricing was beyond reasonable and he really made a difference in the way our home looks.
