I'll give this location the benefit of the doubt and leave a 3 star review, in hopes that this was just a very, very bad day. As a whole the entire staff the day of my visit was miserable. I'm talking everyone - from the paint dept, to customer service to the cashiers. Obviously they were short staffed but how does this effect the paint dept? Went in to grab paint and was the only customer was the counter. Two employees spoke among themselves, with no acknowledgement; a nod or something would have been fine and I would have continued to patiently wait. Instead I stood there awkwardly, for probably about 5 minutes till one of them came over in a huff. He "mixed" my paint and I was on my way. However there was only one cashier plus the self checkouts. The lines were huge and extended well into the isles. Still the waiting customers were more pleasant than the cashiers. When I went to check my gift card balance at customer service they had attitude as well; grabbing my card and rolling their eyes. Once outside I looked at my paint which had a clear bottom. Although my color was green the bottom showed white paint. It was obviously this paint was not mixed well. Dare I go back in? I think not! I've had my fill of 'tude for the day. read more

It's terrible that GE purchases saddle customers with Bodewell, a no account "service provider," and that Lowe's just shrugs and collects the money. Bodewell shows up when and if they want, AND they call to reschedule an appointment when they should actually be at the appointment. Imagine the havoc this wreaks on customers' schedules. I plan to find a better extended warranty option and cancel the Lowe's-GE-Bodwell grift. I'll also think twice before buying major appliances from Lowe's and anything GE in the future. Update 10/26: Closed on Sundays now? Rigged. Again, I don't understand why such issues exist with ordering something online and picking up in the store. This time, I ordered a Flex nailer. Website says they have 2 in stock. I can pickup right now or have it delivered tomorrow, the website says. But because I ordered online for in store pickup, I have to wait until Nov 2nd for them to put it in the pickup room? That's insane! This is a publicly traded company! Online customer service is non existent. You can order an item listed as In Stock, and they can send you an email telling you its magically Out of Stock, with a button labeled "Explore Options". Of course this button just sends you to an infinite login loop. Your order will never actually be recognized on the site. So you can't just reroute the order to a different store. Oh yeah, also the "Chat with us online 24/7" option on the website is broken. Does nothing. Also, they have no customer service email. Also, they wont call you about your order that they screwed up. Apparently you have to call and wait, and then explain everything to some rude employee who will screw things up even more. Or let the pending deduction on your bank account expire after 3 days. ordered a 3300 lawn mower, they never changed to the correct address, was unable to keep the correct delivery date with the new address so there delivering to the wrong address and was unable to make changes or fix the issue. i own a business and will no longer be going to Lowe's for future purchases. read more

(Identified herself as Brittany). accused me of "cursing at her" etc. Of course I was frustrated after almost 3 hours of trying to set up an appointment and never reaching anyone in the kitchen deptment I was not happy. I wanted to thank Lowe's for completely screwing up my delivery order. I went on line to place an order FOR DELIVERY. Two hours later I got an email indicating that half my order was shipped and the other half could be picked up in East York.... WHAT??? So Monday morning I called Lowe's. After wading my way through the automated system, I got to customer service. The wanted to know what store I placed the order through and indicated my order has been pulled from separate stores. I indicated again that I ordered on line. I was told that part of my order was in a locker for pickup, but I paid for shipping. I was told there is nothing they could do. I told them to cancel the order. Now the other 1/2 showed up in the mail. BTW you really need to change the name of your customer service department as they provide NO CUSTOMER SERVICE and tried to make the issue my problem. Four words. GO TO HOME DEPOT. read more

Any time I need hardware, I head to Lowes. Plants, flower fertilizer, dehydrated cow manure, watering cans, bird feeders, house plants, box fans, etc. They always have everything I am looking for. I ordered a stove online to be delivered and installed. My stove was going to come Monday, but the delivery guy called me and said I needed to go buy a wire so he could install it, so we had to reschedule. I'm annoyed that this wire didn't come with the stove and that nothing indicated I needed something extra, but fine. My stove was then supposed to be delivered today. The email said between 8-8. Last night, I got a voicemail saying 8-12. So I had to have my mom wait at the house for him. Close to 12 I call them to check on it - while still at work mind you - and they said he's an hour away. A couple minutes later they call me and say 1:30. While I'm STILL on the line with that guy, a woman from the same company calls and says 5-9 now due to the distance and timing and all that. So I wasted my mom's time and had to keep answering phone calls at work with people telling me different times. On the way back to my office, I get ANOTHER call, this time from the manager, apologizing and explaining why the guy needs to come so late. It's fine, I get it, I've had to run weird routes too. I told him I was just annoyed with the constant change of info and all the calls. So, he said for me to keep his number and call if there's any more issues. Waiting around all afternoon, and finally I call the company around 7:30 to check in on an ETA. She says she'll call the driver and get back to me. Driver doesn't answer, so she says she put out a message to him to call me. 8:30, driver calls me...not going to make it tonight. Can he come tomorrow at 9? I say fine to 9:00 but ask him if he's actually going to call me and actually going to show up, since this is the third time my stove delivery has been rescheduled. That manager is definitely getting a call, and I'm definitely asking for some sort of discount or compensation. I usually am not that person, but I've been very patient and polite. At this point lots of people would be screaming at them. I've had people scream at me for being 5 minutes late. The idea that they had to wait until the very last minute each time to call and tell me something had changed or they couldn't make it is asinine. Made my whole family wait all damn day only to call last minute and say they can't make it. Don't ever order online from Lowe's and forget dealing with their delivery company. It's chaos. read more

The store itself is great but my biggest complaint is the carts in the parking lot...especially in the lawn and garden section. It is filled EVERYDAY!!!! I recently started doing a huge paver project and I dont have a truck so I've been there just about everyday for two weeks and no matter what time I'm there, the carts holder in the lot is overflowing, with carts taking up parking spots and possibly rolling around and hitting someone's car. The team at Lowes are very knowledgeable and helpful. I have been in here for a couple of items (lawnmower, dehumidifier) on multiple occasions and they always seem to have what I am looking for. The staff is willing to help load items on carts or in your vehicle. The prices are a bit on the high side, averaging a couple percent higher than home depot but the selection seems to be better and they have stuff in stock where Home Depot doesn't. We had a new fence installed. They were very helpful with helping us pick out the fence we wanted and getting everything set up. The guys who put in our fence were so nice; they were friendly with our two dogs who loved them always willing to give them a scratch behind the ears whenever they saw them. They got the fence put in quickly and efficiently. The fence looks amazing; they did a terrific job and we're really pleased with it. read more

We have always used Lowe's l, however this had been our first visit in awhile. We needed to reapply for our credit card as we planned on spending a considerable amount of money for a large project. We waited in line in customer service and the woman there helping the people in front of us was so rude. When it was our turn we got the same treatment. I have not been treated like that before. She acted as if we were idiots and that we were bothering her. She never greeted us, never smiled. She got very mad when my husband asked to add me to the account and said she had to start all over. He told her to forget it. We left, went to Home Depot who treated us so kindly we keep going back there to spend our money! read more

UPDATE 9/26/18: ServicePros is now trying to say that their contractors didn't steal my grout. Umm, hello, I bought the grout, the took the grout with them upon completion of the project, and therefore, that's called STEALING. They wasted an entire Saturday of mine. They were supposed to be here between 9-11AM. They showed up, WITHOUT ADVANCE NOTICE, after 4PM, when no one was home. Then, they swiped my grout, they overcharged me for mortar (and had me pay CASH ON THE SPOT for it), AND they screwed up the job and their manager had to come out and repair several of their mistakes (3, to be exact, 2 additional visits). Moral of the story: DO NOT USE LOWE'S FOR INSTALLATION PROJECTS and if you do and they assign "Service Pros" run for the hills because they were screw you out the wazoo, take your money, and do shoddy work. Neither Service Pros or Lowe's is willing to accept responsibility for this or provide fair compensation for all of these troubles which is why I have resorted to sharing my negative experience on social media and the Internet. read more
