This business, Shrewsbury location is not the same service that the original owners, Bill and Elaine provided. I understand their son is responsible now! I have had a phone call in for someone to call me about an issue for one week! No one has returned my call. I honestly believe that I am being ignored. I have called several times asking for help with their offered rebate, having received "error" messages at the end of 10 minutes filling out the online rebate form. You are instructed to start over. My experience purchasing 3 appliance was not good. Financing, same as cash must be handled by the customer on an iPad. They offered no help and when I felt very frustrated, the salesperson stated many times "I feel your pain!" Gee that is a huge help! Their lack of empathy is disturbing! The current staff is ruining the stellar reputation that Bill and Elaine built! Note: the other two excellent reviews are from many years ago! We purchased our Whirlpool Gold refrigerator through Lowes. After a couple years it started to not cool properly. The warranty had expired. We called Lowes to get it repaired but the repair place they wanted to send us to had terrible reviews online. So bad in fact that two people said they'd give them zero stars if it was possible. A friend referred us to Miles Maytag, and I am so thankful they did. Miles was more than happy to help us even though we did not purchase our refrigerator through them. Pat, our repairman, was very knowledgeable and knew what was wrong just from talking to me. They ordered the parts and came out to do the repair in a timely manner. We purchased a 5000 series washer and drying from Miles in February. 3 weeks ago, the washer broke down. My wife called Maytag Customer Service & they sent out another appliance repair company from West York. It took a week to get on their schedule, once there they diagnosed the needed part & said they'd have to order, taking another week. That week passed and when we called to check status they said the part was on back-order and would be at least another week. 3 weeks without a washer... boy sure was missing my Kenmore. At this point I called Miles to voice my frustration. I was put thru to Phil in service who was familiar with the error code we were getting and said he had the part in stock. They came out the very next day and had us up and running. AMAZING! Can't say enough about how pleased we were. We will never again call Maytag directly... Miles is the place for great appliance prices, and as I know now, excellent service if needed. read more
