This is a review of Chris, Supervisor/Manager. At one point I completely stopped shopping at Loew's But he renewed my faith in Loew's. I have had so MANY bad experiences at this store. It was so refreshing to get excellent service from him. He went above and beyond his duties. I made an online order and came in to pick it up. I was putting it together to find out that it was defective both parts...yell, lol. I have yet to open and assemble the replacement but, so far I am very pleased. Raymond, also helped me with the return transaction. He did an excellent job of helping me not feel so frustrated and going above and beyond his duties. I sincerely appreciate the great customer service from Chris and Raymond throughout this ordeal. I will be returning to shop, a little more often, now. :) read more

I would probably rate this store higher but I bought over $1,400 in paint. The HGTV Sherwin Williams Infinity brand and it did not perform. I primed before hand and used an airless sprayer. I can still see specks of white coming through the paint. Incredibly disappointed. I talked to them & all they said was sorry and they gave me the paint reps card. Like he's gonna do anything!!! Don't use this paint for a big project. It's not worth the cost. read more

What a crock of sh!t. We had a couple of painters to paint a room in our home. We purchased some very expensive paint from Lowes, and the painters started on the room. We then needed some more of the same color, so we went back to Lowes. Came back to the house with the new paint and the painters started painting, and painted for about an hour. We thought it looked a little darker, but maybe it just needed to dry. Turns out that lowes gave us the wrong paint to begin with and then again gave us wrong paint the second time. They refused to compensate us for the hour the painters wasted, so we had to pay for an extra hour. Keep in mind the two paints were very similar, but not the same. Lowes said they could not compensate us, even though they screwed up twice. This cost me a lot of time and money. Home Depot from now on. read more

I am very disappointed in this Temecula Lowe's! I went in so that I could select a brand new stove. I looked over the selection, which they had quite a few to choose from, and after I selected one, my husband paid for everything up front with our card. A couple of days after that, my husband and I get a phone call from Lowe's saying that the stove will be delivered, however, we have to pay a separate price for the cord!! What sense does that make?? Eventually, Lowe's agreed to pay for the cord. They agreed to deliver the stove within a couple of days. Their installer/delivery guy showed up with the new stove. He pulled out my old stove, looked behind it, and said that we had the wrong size gas pipe. He went out to his vehicle, and came back saying that he did not have the proper pipes and such to install the new stove. He suggested that he leave the brand new stove, along with the old one, and he would order the correct part, and when it came in, he would come back and install the new stove, and take away the old stove. When I told him this would not be acceptable, I put him on the phone with my husband. My husband suggested that he go back to Lowe's and get the part that he needed...This is where things really get funky! The guy totally ignored my husband! The installer handed me the phone while my husband was in mid-sentence and said, 'I have 10 other stoves to deliver, and I don't have time to go back to Lowe's to get this part! I don't know what to tell you, and I don't know what to do about it... This store is killing me, and this isn't even my store!' After a few minutes of discussion, I asked him, 'Can you get the part that's needed and come back tomorrow?' He said yes he could do that and then he could put that on the schedule. But my husband warned him that if there was another mix-up or some other problem or some other issue, we would cancel the entire order and make our purchased elsewhere! Today, Wednesday, this delivery/installer guy, who I believe was a different installer, shows up, comes in and says that he has the new stove. He pulls out the old stove, looks behind it, and tells my husband 'I can't install this new stove because this part behind the stove is not correct!' My husband said 'That was the issue yesterday... you're supposed to have the part to do it with today!' My husband asked him to call his supervisor at this point, because he was starting to get the run-around yet again. So the guy calls his supervisor, and right in front of my husband, he began to speak in Spanish to his supervisor!! My husband and I do not speak Spanish, nor do we understand Spanish. Then the guy hands the phone to my husband, quickly goes out to his truck and drives away! My husband is saying to the supervisor on the phone, 'What's the problem? Why isn't this guy installing our stove and why is he leaving?' The supervisor says to my husband that the installer told him he couldn't install the stove because when he pulled the stove out he saw rodent droppings!! He also said the installer told him that he tried to put the part on but it would not fit!! My husband told the supervisor, 'Your installer is a liar! He never tried to install anything, and there are no rodent droppings behind our stove!!' At this the supervisor says, 'Well, when he gets back into the office, I'll have a talk with him!' So, at this point, my husband said, 'You know what? We're canceling the entire order and we're taking our business elsewhere! What do I need to do to get a refund on this entire purchase?' After I discussed all this with my husband, I was done! We decided I would go to Lowe's to get a total refund and it took four CSR's at the customer service desk to figure out what they needed to refund exactly! The only part of our money that was not returned to us was the $40 that we spent for the installer to come out and measure for the hood, and that's because that guy actually came out and did the work he was paid to do, so I was okay with that. I cannot believe all this grief ... I just wanted to buy a brand new stove! How hard can that be?? You would think that a Big Box store like Lowe's, would be happy that people actually want to walk in and want to make a purchase, instead of buying off Amazon! And this says nothing about the incompetence and the lackadaisical attitude of the people that represent the store when they come to your home... Ridiculous! Very unprofessional, and the fact that they are supposed to represent the company that they stand for doesn't speak very highly of the caliber of individuals that work for Lowe's in the actual face to face customer service Arena, nor of the standards, if any, that they hold them to!! If I worked for some public service agency or a local utility company, or any kind of business where you have to interact with John Q Public, and I were to act like that towards a customer, I would be SO VERY FIRED!! I am so done with this Lowe's! read more

Always a quick visit when I'm here and never any long lines. I find that this specific Lowe's staff is more helpful and knowledgeable than the others in the area. They have a good mixture of the more affordable versions of products and more quality ones. I would only advise that they change their hours here on this yelp account because I rushed down here for nothing one evening thinking they close at 9pm when their doors clearly say they close at 10pm during the week. Guys like me doing home projects when they can, meaning late hours sometimes, can be a real loss for business. read more

The absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced! Purchased an outdoor BBQ that had a refrigerator option with it, purchased them together and paid for a 3 year protection plan on BOTH the BBQ and refrigerator. Of course, the refrigerator stops working in a little over a year. 4 calls and hours upon hour on hold and they still couldn't locate my receipt (the items were purchased on a Lowes credit card). It took 3 weeks for them to locate the receipt and email it to me but that only started the entire process over again, more calls and waiting on hold for hours before finally somebody agreeing with me that the refrigerator was covered and that they would call me the next day to schedule a service call. Nobody ever called, it took another week before they sent an email asking for me to call them again! Over an hour on hold, I had to re-explain the entire situation again and they still couldn't figure it out! I finally asked to speak with a supervisor in which they placed me on hold again for another 40 minutes. I had to go at that point and still don't have a service call scheduled. So frustrating!!!! We purchase so much there but not any more, we will drive past that place and head over to the competition. read more

We bought a Samsung washer and dryer from lowes a year ago. We have had nothing but problems with these things. We go in to lowes to talk to the manager about them, come to find out they where recalled! We bought the extended warranty on both, now we are getting the run around with replacing these!! Bought a 10 piece Dewalt set from Lowes in May 2019 - drill burnt out this October, went to the returns and was told by the cashier to go get one just like it and I did but I was then told to go look for another's one again so I did, I was then told by same cashier that it had to be from the 10 piece set and that they had 8 of them in stock, mean while I do have a bad back and from going back and forth didn't help but I wanted my Drill. So over 30 min of looking for the 10 piece I realize they dont have it. I then told the cashier. I was then told that I had to return my whole old 10 piece set to to get a new set....????? What the heck is going on I told the cashier, that does not make sense. The cashier then called the Assistant Manager named Denny. He stated that the only offer a 90 day return and that I would have to take it up Dewalt and that is said that on my receipt. After further review of my receipt I found it does not say it on my which I pointed out but The Manager didnt care. He then showed me the the posted policy posted on the wall. I then left very upset and angry without a working drill that I needed for work the next day. 10 minutes later I realized why I was so upset! All they had to say was the 90 policy and not waste my time. You know if your the Manager of any store you should dam well make sure you know what your talking about along with your co workers and if you dont learn how to treat customers with respect and not authority. You just lost a good customer. What a shame. You can catch me at Home Depot from now on I bet the Managers and coworkers are on the same page and treat customers with respect read more

The store its self is well maintained, well stocked and has great parking. Stopped in and picked up a "do-it-yourself- carpet cleaner. And I will say that it's NOT Home Depot. Not only was it more expensive but this particular carpet cleaner forces you to use far more cleaning solution than the others I'm accustomed to. It has one button that controls both the agitator and the spray. Other machines have the ability to scrub the carpet without applying the spray. This helps limit the amount that you use. Next time I'm "cleaning carpets" I'm heading back to Home Depot. read more

Lowe's you need to be aware that you do not have capable sales staff to help customers with their needs. My husband and I simple came in to look at and get info on their sheds.....that they display and have locked up in their parking lot. After over 30 mins. a nice guy from the plant section came over to help us and waited until the Mgr. (never showed up) came over to help us. Seems it wasn't important enough to break away from his meal or something like that. We first were directed to the lumber dept. and their were 3 middle aged women that just gave us a "deer in the headlights" look when we asked to get info on the sheds....when they couldn't/wouldn't help us they proceed with counting their tils and clocking out..... Now, tell me, is this the customer service you want your company to exude????? Management better get a handle on training their employee's regarding products that they represent....now I will be contacting the manufacturer to let them know why they are not getting sales of their sheds.... read more

Don't buy a washer here. We bought one yesterday. Our old one died. They said they'd take our old one...we told them it had water in it still,because it died mid wash----they said no problem we deal with that all the time. They came today picked up our old washer...dropped it on the stairs splattered detergent /water all over. Broke our travertine floor --damaged linoleum, .... And now they say it's our fault they're not responsible for the contents---HORRIBLE----on top of all of that the delivery guys ran the first cycle with all of the paperwork inside the machine---so now we have to get a new machine delivered read more

Temcuela Lowes was a nightmare of buying floor installation. Do NOT even consider this store. On July 1st, I pick out my flooring, and scheduled the measurement to come to my house to take measurements. I was told that I would hear back in 48 hours. Yup, you guess it, no call from Lowes. I went to Menifee Lowes who said we will transfer your estimate to our store. Well I check back ever week, to find the sales associate quit his job. So I was told that we will put in a request to have measurements sent to the Menifee store. Well, I found out the store associate quit his job and they will have to ask to send Murrieta measurements to Menifee. Well, I went to the Temcuela on Winchester store to find out the cost was $4,444 not including the installation. As this didn't make since to me, I asked the associate for detail which he stated when the order was place he ordered vinyle flooring at $2.98 whereas I ordered laminate flooring at $1.49. So the order was wrong. I paid my $35.00 for the measurements which I am so fed up with the store. Plus, I never received a phone call from the sales associate and when I tried to call the phone just rings and rings. I am fed up. This is not customer service. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE FOR ANY HOME IMPROVEMENTS AS THESE SALES ASSOCIATE DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY HARE DOING. THE SERVICE IS REALLY BAD. read more

Buyer BEWARE! My wife and I did our homework and bought a nice Whirlpool refrigerator from this local store. We spent about $2300 and purchased the 5 year warranty. Now this is where I would LOVE to say that simply the Whirpool product was just faulty and Lowes took care of us, per the warranty. Unfortunately, this is not the case. The problem here is with the Lowes warranty program. They have been extremely difficult and nearly impossible to deal with. Not only that, they have lied to us and been very unprofessional. Bottom line: DO NOT buy appliances at Lowes. They don't take care of their customers and the entire warranty program is a complete joke. We have been lied to, wasted hours and DAYS worth of time and forced to jump through a series of ridiculous hoops, all to no avail. We are still stuck with this LEMON of a fridge and forced to wait for yet ANOTHER service call that repairmen have already told us won't fix the problem. Such BS. The Lowes located in Temecula, CA. Has employees that have knowledge in the products at Lowes. I noticed when I first came to this location everyone seem into their work and very helpful to surrounding customers who needed help. I did have an incident that I felt needed to be address and quickly emailed the manager. He was very prompt and quickly responded to me with an email and a follow up phone call. Mr. Jim Riley was very considerate and listened with patience and showed a great example of an obvious managerial position should be. I was truly impressed with his actions and I hope he will soon be receiving a raise because he certainly takes a step further for customer service. Went there today and ordered all my appliances. Robb helped us out and made a very easy process and made sure all my appliances where in stock and could be delivered right away. My dishwasher and stove are getting delivered next day and my fridge should be here in a few days. I went in with the intentions of buying LG but once I saw the kitchenaid I fell in love. The only thing that went wrong was the customer service desk to check out wanted to give us a credit card but wasn't going to give us the 5% discount. So what would be the point of opening the card? Then she kept running to the back to check with a manager and it just seemed unprofessional that he didn't get up and just come talk to us. read more

Purchased 4 ceiling fans, Paid an Electrician $700 to install and 3 of them are DEFECTIVE! That's right, 75% of the fans I purchased are defective. They pretty much told me besides replacing the fans (if I pay to have them swapped out) I am SOL. Will never order another appliance from them again. The deliver company they use is horrible and the worst customer service ever. First they wanted to deliver a damaged refrigerator, told them no, then had to ask them to see if another location had a undamaged one and they did. Has a delivery day set up, they don't show, called multiple times throughout the day, to be told it would be delayed, to no one showing up at all. I called two days later to ask about when it's coming, the girl said it was cancelled, I said not by me, I'm still wait g for it. So she says okay I'll put you on the schedule for sat delivery. So it's Friday night, after 8pm and I dont get a call or text with the delivery. I call them and they can't find my order anywhere and my cell number that they've been using is not on file. I then try to call Lowe's cause at this point I'm done and cancelling the refrigerator and need a refund. Was placed on hold for over 10 minutes 2x!! With being able to speak to no one. Worst experience ever. Steer clear of getting anything that needs to be delivered with them. read more

On top of helping get some heavy items down in the tool area for another associate, he was super helpful in getting a new lock rekeyed with an existing key I brought it. I love Lowes but this review is more for Nate in the appliance section. My husband and I just closed on a house and it has been one expense after another, appliances being the largest thus far. I spent hours online trying to figure out the most affordable way to put all new stainless appliances in the kitchen and a front loading washer and dryer set. I came across a website with builders packages and I thought, wow, perfect! My husband, however, wanted to go by lowes to see if they would price match. We get there and most of the models we had found online were basic basic, you know, half stainless, half black plastic.. Nate tells us they can price match model to model, well they didn't carry all of the models so he takes us to his computer station and starts typing away. He tells us he will get as close as he can to the price we asked for and not only did he get there but all of the appliances were much nicer than the appliances we had originally asked for. Plus he included all of the accessories we would need. Awesome customer service, beautiful appliances at a great price. read more

I must preface this by saying I recently relocated to Temecula and was in need of all new appliances. I give 5 STARS to the delivery guys who brought my washer yesterday. NICK & CARL were incredibly helpful and happy despite this crazy heat. I give 5 STARS to PAUL the guy in Appliances who's helping me find the Samsung fridge Lowes said would be here by now. While the problem has yet to be resolved, I appreciate him putting up with my sassiness while I fret over living without a fridge. I subtract two stars because of how poorly LOWES the company has decided to treat it's online customers. I planned my entire relocation around these appliance deliveries and now the time is upon us and my fridge is nowhere to be found. In the past month I've spent almost $3,000 with Lowes between appliances, paint, and miscellaneous items. I would have preferred they just be honest from the beginning of how long it would actually take to get a special order fridge. Lowes has hired some great employees and while that's a nice idea in theory the reality is I went there because I needed appliances not the added stress of wondering when the items I paid for would be arriving. Go to Hank's Ind. Hardwear and Lumber. I went to Lowe's and asked for (6) 4X4X6.5 pieces of wood and the guy behind the counter said they don't do those cuts. He was a real jerk about it as well. Like I was bothering him. Searched for other lumber places and found Hank's. Every employee I spoke with was amazing. I was in and out of there in 10 min with a charge of $7.42. The only reason why I will even give this place 1 Star other than because no stars is not an option is because of Ed in flooring. He is very friendly and very knowledgeable. So my wife and I are remodeling our house and decided to go with Lowes because of the financing promotion and how Lowes is closer to our home even though I am more fond of Home Depot and the brands they carry (Makita). Like I said before, Ed was great and got me all the info my wife and I needed to decide to go with Lowes. After we picked out our flooring we opened up a Lowes credit card and were approved for a limit way beyond what we needed. All of the flooring was not going to be in stock until the 18th so we opted for delivery on the 19th. The next day, like I was told a gentilman called me about setting an install date and tell me that the installers would be picking up the tile. He worked with me on the date of the install because my schedule does fluctuate and my wife would be out of town. This is where things started to go down hill.... The next day I got a call from one of the girls who sets up delivery times and she told me that I would need to have my tile delivered to my home. I informed her that I spoke with the installer and that they would be picking it up. She insisted that they were wrong and that I would need to set up a time and date to have it delivered (March 15th between 9-11am with a 2 hour call to confirm what time they would be there). Thankfully I was able to rearrange my schedule. When the morning of the 15th came I made sure to have everything ready for the delivery and waited patiently for a call. Finally around 11:30am I decided to call in and see what was going on. No one at the deliveries desk answered so I decided to talk to Ed in flooring and he apologized and said that the lady I talked to must have been confused and that the installers were in fact delivering the tile. Thankfully I called in and was able to make it to work on time but it was frustrating that I didn't get a call about the mix up. The next morning (today the 16th) I received a phone call from another gentilman saying that he was on his way to deliver my flooring. I told him that I was told it would be getting delivered on the upcoming Saturday. Thankfully I was off work and able to meet him. When I told him about all the scheduling issues and how the lady told me the tile was supposed to be delivered yesterday, he told me that the flooring was supposed to be. I'm lost at this point. WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE INVOLVED. The delivery guy was really nice and helped me move the flooring into my home. After he left I decided to go back to Lowes to pick up a new toilet for the master bathroom... After finding everything I needed I proceeded to the cashier to check out. I told her that my wife and I just got approved for a Lowes card a few days earlier and that I would like to have my items purchased on the card. I was then told I would not be able to since my wife is the primary on the card. What?!?! Really!?!?! We just spent over $5.5k here and I can't purchase a $125 toilet? The cashier then asked for her manager to assist me and she told me that there was nothing they could do and that I would have to call the credit card company. That to me was unexceptable. After all the money spent and issues with delivery I told her that I would rather have them pick up the flooring that was delivered and to cancel our Lowes card. Instead of figuring out a way to resolve the issue she just asked me when I would like to have them pick up the laminate. Wow. Really? I then asked her if there was a different manager I could speak to that would actually try to help me out. She then responded "Well what do you want me to do?" I told her that my name, address, social, and drivers license were all on the same credit app my wife filled out so find a way I can purchase a $125 toilet before I return the $5.5k worth of flooring. She then picked up the phone and 20 seconds later had my account number which allowed me to purchase the toilet. Never shopping at this location ever again. read more
