This is our go-to store for our house rehab business. Eddie at the pro desk is outstanding. He always goes the extra mile for us. Beth, the pro desk cashier, is also awesome. She's so friendly and a lot of fun. They get to know their customers by name, and we can text Eddie for anything we need. The store is cleaned and stocked fairly well. I called up to find out WHY it wasn't here in the time range AS I HAD TO PICK MY WIFE UP as she can't drive yet. The MANAGER GAVE ME MASSIVE ATTITUDE. 'You're not the only person.' Yeah, no kidding, but I'm person who has a serious problem with a wife to pick-up and that jerk couldn't listen and started to shut me down when I was trying to get to understand there is real difficulty going on in my life. If this their USUAL bad time estimate, it wouldn't have been a problem. Instead, it was nothing but attitude and bullying. Did not treat me as a valued customer. Would not replace a broken globe in a new fan box (fan was already installed in home by electrician). Wanted me to uninstall the fan and bring the whole thing back. Screw them. I bought another identical new fan and will open it and put the broken globe in it and return it. I don't know what changed but I actually found what I needed and there were people to correctly direct me to what i need. I asked several folks for help and they all directed me to the right place. I pressed the help button in tools section and the guy that came helped me figure out what I needed and it worked perfectly when I got home. I could not be less knowledgeable about how even describe what I needed but he helped me figure out the right type of drill I had at home and the type of hole saw I needed. read more

In May we started the process of ordering and installing a front door and screen door with Lowe's . We were assigned a partner to help us through the process and they came out and took the initial measurement. We would need a custom front door but could use a standard screen door. We were quoted a price and signed the contract. Then the professional came out for a second measure and determined that we would need a customer screen door as well. The price increased $600 but we signed another contract and got the process going to get the door ordered. Apparently during this time our assigned partner was transferred to another department, and we weren't made aware. Someone else called us to have us pay the invoice and the invoice was the wrong amount. I asked why and asked that it included both doors and the install for both. They said yes and that they didn't know why it was different. We paid and waited until the middle of July for our doors to come in. July came and someone from Lowes called and asked if we were supposed to have a front door as well and said they would look in to what happened since only a screen door came in and call us back. No one called us back, so I called corporate since I no longer had a store contact. They said they would investigate it and get back to us. No one did. I called back and they said they would forward a ticket to the store to have them investigate it and call us back. For several weeks I kept getting the run around of being promised calls and not receiving them. I was also getting calls from Lowe's during this time asking me why I didn't schedule my install yet. I would then tell them what happened, they would verify that in the notes, and then they would promise a call that would never come. Finally, they got the original partner assigned to my order who said that it looked like the front door wasn't ordered and he would look into it and call us back. He didn't. Then I called him back and he said once again that he would investigate it and call us back. The next day Lowe's called me to schedule the install, and I asked if that meant our door was ordered and they said yes. So, we waited for the install appointment on 10/2 and I took the whole day off work to be home for it. Surprise, there was no front door when the installer went to Lowes. Lowes then called me; I asked them to cancel the entire install because I couldn't deal with this anymore. She said she would, but the system wouldn't let her refund us the money. She told me she would put a ticket in for the store to call me to refund me. At this point in time, I was smart enough to know that would never happen and went there myself. The head cashier, Brigid, refunded my money for me. I really appreciated her making it easy, but Lowes has lost my business forever. It wasn't the mistake, but the consistently terrible communication and broken promises this entire time. I am disappointed in the store as well because of the number of times they were sent requests to call us to handle the issue and didn't. read more

I used to love this Lowes, especially the Garden Center and the employees seemed happy to be there, but now the employees seem stressed and overwhelmed and I've seen this lady (I think a manager named Judy, if I read the name tag correctly) barking orders at employees and talking to them like they are dumb dogs, I've seen some look like they are about to cry after walking away from this lady. I am assuming she is a manager and if Lowes is OK with a manager like this treating employees the way she is I will NOT be shopping there. The employees have always been great but since this crazy lady showed up the whole energy of the store is tense. The Garden Center looks like crap and you can tell Jeremy (I think that's what his name was) the plant guy, that was always soo helpful and kept the place looking beautiful, is no longer working there. I bought my first house a year ago and have remodeled the basement, refinished two bathrooms, and done extensive renovation projects almost exclusively through Lowe's. Do not waste your time with the headache. Purchased $2,300 new fridge. When the delivery people arrived, my husband told them the door needed to come off to fit. They proceeded to try anyway and dented the new fridge before listening and taking the door off. We were reasonable to accept his offer for them to come back and replace the door on the fridge. Cut to later in the day when my husband has been on hold for 2 gping on 3 hours, with multiple people, trying to tell him he got misinformation. They say we can now pack the fridge back up to return it. He is still on hold. I cannot believe its possible for people to act like this and be able to continue running a business. I bought a stove and it apparently comes with no power cord. I dont understand how that is even possible. Any device you buy has a cord. But they didnt tell me until they were at the house-not installing it. So now I have to pay someone to go out there with a cord to plug it in. WHY was this issue not brought up in advance. Store salespeople were great. They knew what they were selling and were not pushy. My gripe is with the people who delivered our appliance. First, they were more than three hours early and expected us to drop what we were doing so they could deliver it right then. I explained the problem with that but the delivery person was rude about it. This same man had to be told repeatedly to put on a mask when entering our home and that the proper way to wear it is over the mouth AND nose. When the main delivery person was wheeling away our old appliance he called me "baby doll". This made me and my husband irate. This was blatantly sexist. My husband and I did not appreciate this and we will consider getting our next appliance at a different store. read more

Genuinely awful. Spent 4 years coming here while remodeling kitchen, bath, back yard, garage, office, master bedroom and other odds and ends. Lowe's claims to support and encourage DIY; they've invested heavily in how-to videos, etc. Of course they want people to take on house projects. This opens up their market to the majority of people who want to upgrade, but don't want to deal with contractors both due to cost, risk, poor work quality, etc. The most efficient way to utilize a hardware store while DIYing, is to buy all the components you think you might need, go home, see what works and return what doesn't. That way you only make 1 purchase trip, and 1 return trip, instead of potentially 10's of purchasing and return trips costing you 10x the amount of time in travel and line waiting. This also means you can do 10x less projects so Lowes gets 10x less money out of you. At the end of each project, I would just bulk return (with receipts) what I didn't need. This is where a major problem starts in their process. They treated me like a criminal. Incredibly rude and condescending with a smirk like they had caught me in the act . I called them out on it and they said, " well I don't know if you just walked in here and grabbed these things off the shelf to return them. Just using their system (90 day return window) to its most efficient degree and this is how they respond. Really unfortunate. read more

I had a refrigerator delivered 0n 7/22. The delivery guys installed the icemaker. The icemaker leaked water. Lowes would not warranty the item. I contacted frigidaire. They were hesitant about about send their technician. Today (2 month wait) the technician should up and said he needs to order parts. Two months with a paid ice maker that does not work. I practically break out in hives when I have to go to this store. My anxiety is heightened when I get there and can't find whatever it is I need for the current handyman's project. When I finally find someone to ask, the response is almost always that it's on the other side of the store but, "there will be someone there to help you." HA. There is never anyone 'there' to help. When I finally track down someone to help me find what I need, I then take it to a second person to ask if it's the correct item for my purposes. It never is. I get a new story and completely different advice. This means I have to decide for myself, or go ask a third person. How I wish Ace Hardware or True Value were bigger stores and closer to my house! This Lowe's is always understaffed and 95% of the staff is always under-trained. If you must shop at this store, give yourself plenty of time as there are usually only two check out people, so you can be standing in line a long time. If you're returning something, bring your lunch. Also, be aware that there is no quality control here. I got home with a box for a new outside stair rail but when the handyman opened it, none of the hardware was in the box. Back I go to Lowe's to explain my problem. Angry gatekeeper, Frankie, (who is to be avoided at all costs) tells me I can't be helped with that particular problem although customer service told me to go there and ask for help. I went and found someone else who opened another box like the one I'd' purchased, extracted the hardware I needed, then simply taped the box back shut and put it back on the shelf. If you find you must shop at this Lowe's, your only hope is to try and locate an extraordinary employee named Guy. He will stick with you no matter what you're looking for or how hard it is to find. He'll find it and he'll make sure it is exactly what you need. Otherwise, maybe pick up some Benadryl before you actually go into this establishment. PS. Lowes has become very simply one of the worst places to shop. I just went in to return something that I bought before Christmas, and they told me that the day after Christmas was the cut off day for returns for Christmas items. The day after Christmas was unnecessarily busy, because everybody runs out to the stores for some unfathomable reason, to me, thereby making it torturous for normal folks to go to the store. About a month ago, I was overcharged for a rug by about $25, I did not notice it until I got home. I know, I know I'm one of those who doesn't look at the receipt or pay much attention when signing the credit card thing. But I did notice when I got home, and I called them immediately. They made me drive back to the store location that I had purchased the item from and then they argued with me about the price. One of the employees went back to check the price, returned and said I had not been overcharged, and said there was no indication that the item I bought cost the amount I was citing to them. I personally walked back with that clerk and showed him the sign. They finally refunded my money, however it was after very much unnecessary ado. I will avoid Lowe's, whenever possible, and convenient for me. Terrible, terrible, terrible customer service. Terrible policies in place. read more

Absolutely Pathetic! This outsourced shipper delivered my Lowe's washer / dryer but failed to properly install. After failing to bring the parts that I paid for because LOWES stated that they were necessary for installation, PILOT manipulated the items and failed to install the dryer. In fact, PILOT cut and ruined the item, let a number of parts on my counter, left me with a NON-WORKING dryer, and said that I needed to call in a service order! Neither PILOT or LOWES bothered contacting me with a solution (they already have their money) or returned with the proper part to finish installation. PILOT had several opportunities to cure the matter, ignored THREE ATTEMPTS, and REFUSED TO REPLY. Their customer service is complete trash and I would recommend using ANYONE OTHER THAN PILOT! LOWES is equally pathetic. I'll be filing complaints against both with the BBB and contacting VISA for a refund since neither company has a clue how to treat customers. Just read their other reviews, this company is a JOKE and LOWES is equally responsible for their incompetence. read more

Worst delivery experience of my entire life. Our fridge stopped working and Lowe's had the soonest delivery date, so I ordered from them. I was given a Thursday delivery date, which was 2 days after placing my order, and that was great, except that it didn't happen. Emergency caused the delivery to be rescheduled for Saturday. Got a call late Saturday saying it was now rescheduled for Monday. The customer service line was helpful, but when they reached out to the store, nothing happened. Manager was supposed to call me when my issue was escalated. Never happened. I can't see the details of my order in the Lowe's app, was told a delivery attempt was made on Saturday, but my security camera does not show anyone from Lowe's for the entire day. I would never recommend this store to anyone. read more

Do not...I repeat don't buy anything over the phone or online. It took them 5 min to charge me 349.88 over the phone , 30 min to verify my order upon pick up, and 1 hour 15 min to return the money upon returning within 1 week. Keep in mind that I had all the necessary documents to pick-up and return. Furthermore, when I picked up the associate was rude and unknowledgeable about the process. At least, the employees upon returning were nicer. Despite this, no one knew how to process my online receipt. Also, it took 30 min to receive assistance to unload the large items to return which were storm doors. read more

A customer at this location just just called my wife a "fucking bitch" and told her he hopes she dies of covid while in the check out line because she asked him to wear a mask. On May 28th, 2020 my husband and I purchased a Samsung Kitchen Suite (refrigerator, range, microwave, and dishwasher) from our local Lowe's store In St. Louis, MO ( Store #2300). Not only did we have to wait for over a hour to complete the purchase due to issues with their computer system (when applying for Lowe's credit) but we had a set date of June 8th, 2020 for our appliances to be delivered. Our purchased totaled over $3600 including taxes and extended warranties for the appliances to add. The issue is that with my home appliances being replaced I have taken out all my kitchen appliances before the delivery date. However, on June 7th I was informed via phone that my appliances have not arrived to the local store and it is uncertain when they will be expected for delivery. This mismanagement of Lowes's scheduling and inventory is very disappointing and aggravating to say the least. So currently I still have a kitchen with no appliances and no update on when or if I will ever get my appliances. It is so unfortunate that I have opened a line of credit solely for this purchase to find out that I may have to return my whole purchase and seek elsewhere for my kitchen suite because this is extremely unacceptable! read more
